Paramedic, new here =)

i may live in the south but im certainly not from here. difficult to completely get used to everyone using Mr. and Ms. before someones name...

those with those glasses and lip in your avatar the "Mr" certainly has a ton more appeal now.

typically when someone says the other side of the pond they are talking about in the UK.. though never heard the South in reference to it. Perhaps youre talking more specifically about the the gulf, which in that case..

oh lord, when i was in england for 12 days (not that recently at all) i basically was rendered to a mess that could hard function simply from hearing the accents of the beautiful woman out and about. nevermind actually being able to stand on stage and remember the lyics to our songs.

(years ago was singing in a band, invited to england for 12 days to play some shows by a band from scotland)

feels like a previous life these days, though that previous life is one i could never forget.

but anyways... keep the accent away from me if you know whats healthy for you =)

unfortunately we never were able to get to scotland. we played 20 shows in 12 days in england only. been working on a way to go back ever since the day i left.

uhh its possible, depending on what type of music you listened to in the early to mid 2000's.. fairly confident saying that you would not know the band i played in, though possible perhaps the band that we played those 12 days with.

little iffy about posting the bands names publically, but ill send you a pm with the scotland band at least.

It is an addiction.. got my first as a memorial to Babygirl.. next one is planned and the only reason I don't have it yet is that I will have to give up swimming laps for a month or so.. the ability to walk relatively pain free versus tattoo... so far knees are winning out. And was working on a third to get at the same time that would have been gift to guy I thought I might want to marry.. but since that didn't happen...
That's why I believe in getting tats with great meaning behind it and that you will need regret. Tats for other people, somewhat regrettable...sorry it didn't work out, but at least now you don't have a tat that needs to be removed :)
well this has been quite and interesting morning for me to say the least.. and since theres been so much chatting, i figured it was time to put a picture in as well. =)

More pics! Yay!! :D

and this is a small glimpse into my "former life" i referred to earlier. yellow arrows to point out where im at. and need to remember that in the early 2000's the camera phones (which were how these specific ones were taken) were no where near as fancy of quality as they are these days.

and...

Great live band shots, looks like a good time! :)

it was, some of the best years in my life, with 4 of the best friends i could have imagined having.. though the years and stream of where life takes you has all but washed those away. wouldnt trade those years for anything.

Yeah, I hear ya, live shows are the best! I saw most of the metal/hard rock bands that were in their hey day back in the 80's and 90's. Good times!! I can imagine it's even better being part of the band.

been saying ever since i was old enough to put on a turn table in my grand fathers basement that i was born 35 years after i was intended. im waiting for a time machine to go back, starting in the motown era, and live through the music of queen and pink floyd. to see the rolling stones in their prime, screaming "i know its only rock and roll, but i like it" and all the other greats inbetween.

/sigh..

at least theres youtube for me to live out my musical fantasies.

I say that all. The. Time! Lol. Literally first thing I'm doing when those time machines get invented. Going to the 67 and staying there until 87. Of course I will need not to age....

thats just.... too awesome. well, if i find one in working order, youll be the top of the list for who im bringing with me.

I... Should be passing out now. Though I may just lay here a while. I'll be posting some new additions after I eventually fall asleep, and wake again whenever that may be.

Happy dance time? Count me in.

Pink Floyd was probably the best band I've ever seen live next to Metallica. Both bands really give you your moneys worth. My only regret is I never got to see Led Zeppelin live. :(

Didn't see Pink Floyd live.. Metallica rocks the house.. or stadium.. One of the biggest regrets was missing Led Zeppelin at their last show in LA. Girlfriend had tickets at her parent's house, two doors down from mine but was stuck away at college.. She told me to get them and go about 10 minutes after her parents left for the evening..

Aww man I know your pain. Any chance I had to see Zeppelin was blocked by the job or they just were'nt coming close enough to where I lived. They are by far my favorite band ever. :rose:

Bravo!
