The Dark

Despite me only just arriving back and glancing over things, I must say I agree with Friend Smith in everything he has said. I doubt anyone here would begrudge you if you came to us, even if it is only to unload something you need to get off your chest to relieve some of the pent up frustrations and stress. Many if not all of us are rather good and willing listeners.

Though perhaps it's merely the environment itself that provides the safe space one needs to relax. Certainly after a long days work reading what the Master of Madness, the Lady of Mist and Friend Wolf have gotten up to has provided a few minutes time to relax and release the build up of the day.

But I digress, and am likely repeating things that are already understood. Ignore me all whilst I venture off to finish writing up one post and go let the mind wander over this weeks pictures. Excellent selections, by the way, Lady of Mists, I'm somewhat stuck on which calls to me more. Bah, I'll figure it out.

But if I do that, I might not get any sleep at all, with my mind buzzing as it does... but I would really love to, I've always enjoyed stories centered around the Dead Man's Hand. Then again, the forest trail is always good, and I've been considering doing more RP's and stories with the Fair Folk in them and it would work really well for something like that. Gah, you've left me with a puzzle DW...

All is going very well, Lord of the Pearl. I've got all my RP posts up at the moment(I think... I hope...), I've got two new pictures to toy with for a little short blurb of whatever nonsense emerges from my meandering mind, I finished watching the Sandman last night, which has always been one of my favorite comic series and I'm pleased to see it being done justice. We also got a new dryer in terms of the mundane day to day of the RL, which is incredibly nice to have. We can actually do laundry now in a timely manner, which is wonderful.

WoW... I too completed watching the Sandman last night and was thoroughly enthralled by the entire series. It was a wonderful watch and I highly recommend to anyone and everyone...

Smith came back to the Inn yard, and went into the sheds. Opening the new can of oil, he poured half into the remnants of the old can. Shaking the two together, he took the older can out to the gate. And set to finish oiling them.

As the oil went on, the color and figure of the Dragons seemed to dance atop a sea of flames. Repeated the procedure on the inside, smiling to see the Maestro's humour. Two dragons hid in shadow, and the grain of the wood. waiting to pounce on unsuspecting guests.

Completed, and drying, the Smith turned his attention to the front door. He buffed the oil that had soaked into the door. And then he applied the wax. Buffed it. and applied the final coat. When it was done, the door shone, looking like the day it had been installed.

The hour was getting to dusk.

"Good enough."

DSmith put the supplies away. He ducked through the kitchen, and went upstairs to his room.

Logan it is only 15:00 and it seems the day has been very, very long. I am not at my best right now old friend. That said you, Mo, and Cait, Ambrosia, and Destiny have brightened my days of late. It has been good seeing Kat as well.
