It is less an underestimation, Lady of Storms, and more an understanding of my own personality. A shortcoming perhaps, that I lack such levels of confidence, but then I've always been prone to keeping myself to the quiet, shadowed places of the world. I've had the luck of meeting a fair few others, men and women both, who've found me in my hidden places and dragging me out into the proverbial light.
Weaving my words and my worlds is where my confidence come free, otherwise, I'm a somewhat clunkier being.
The day has gone wonderfully, at least for me. No work, though the I did have to get on to the littles about screaming at each other over nothing.

It was... a fix. Sadly, it was not an easy one, and likely won't last long before they are arguing over something else. They are amazingly obstinate, those two, clearly taking after their mother, who is similarly keen to not do as she's told.

Could always take the duct tape and threaten to use it. haha.. It worked when I used to baby sit, the older sister actually got the duct tape for me too. Seriously though, I'm sorry it wasn't an easy fix... I never had to deal with that so any advice I may have.... Will Not be such good advice. As you can see... haha... I wouldn't make a good parent that's for sure.

As much as I would love to duct tape the both of them, I'm more than convinced the littles would find some way to get free and use the duct tape for themselves. And I'm not entirely convinced I'm a good parent either. One kinda just muddles through it, and if they turn out decent, well... we call it good and hope for the best. All one can hope is that they turn out as decent and good adults capable of handling themselves.

Yea, that's all any parent can hope for is that their little ones grow up decent. I know I could have pushed myself harder for a better life, but I at least have a good relationship with my parents, not a lot of people can say that.
