The elf, tired, sore and a bit beaten down comes in and sits hands folded in his lap, in one of the chairs by the fire, hoping it will warm him. It’s more than evident it’s been a long week. Long month honestly.

He smiles at her. “Thank you my friend.” He sips his tea that she brought. “I apologize for my absence it’s been a bit much of late. Enjoy your time outside.” He smiles. “It is trying to winter here.” He jokes.

Glad looks like you had a rough week but I am sure the warmth of the fire on the hearth and the company of a radiant young lady will soon have you feeling better.
 
For sure, when you find a lady that is interested send her my way,” he winks. “I was in the hospital all last weekend so just adjusting to that.”

*poked her head in from the ether and kissed his cheek* No apologies needed, my friend. Your health comes first and foremost. It is definitely trying to winter here as well. The landlord has requested we cover the windows with plastic and as he pays the heating bill, I can't blame him.

The pups have been taken care of and are being brats. You can ask Logan if and when he pops his head in here again. He hears them every single day. How is the weather there, CG? Smoky?

No Cait it is a clear day temps about 70F no sign of winter here as of yet. In fact it is unusually dry.

Winter has shown his face already. *shudder* The upper part of Minnesota already got snow. We've had rain and cooler temps.
 
I am sure your warm heart and passion shall keep you and yours warm Cait. ;)

Things are getting cooler hear but being down on the Sound we seldom get snow until late December or January.
 
Smoke from wildfires is building, but not too bad yet. I think I'll head up to the China Pearl Light and see how far away or how near the fires are.
 
The air remains smokey because of fires to the east of us across the mountains. The weater remains mild with temps in the mid 60f's.
 
A little cooler here CG, the season's definitely on the turn though; red, bronze, and gold starting to sweep through the trees. Are you feeling any better, old friend?
 
Curls up on the couch with my blankie and a hot pad over my eyes... this smoke is horrible. From what a friend says, it will be a week roughly before we see rain!! my sinuses are not happy at all, migraines refuse to go away... This fairy wishes she could use fae dust to make all the fires end and clear up the smoke.. /sigh...

I really hope life is treating you all a little bit kinder today. Sounds like life is being a meanie head for everyone as of late! I should send Spot-o-Fluff out on a rampage and teach life a lesson!!!
 
Kat I am afraid that would not bring about a relief to the smoke. It is not bad here just an annoyance here.

All in all I am hanging in there. ;)
 
Life has definitely been trying with lots of stuff going on. The smoke sounds quite a pain…

*pokes her head in from the ether* I hope the smoke isn't where you are CG or at the very least only a small amount is affecting you. When I lived in N. Calif. I use to live in a valley and the smoke would get stuck down in there with us and the air quality sucked. So, I hope you're not having to deal with that type of thing.
 
Cait the smoke index is rather high, but as I live very near to the sound the breeze seems to knock down the worst of it so I am muddling through.

So are you still in the beginning throws of winter Miss?

I slide a mug of fresh brewed coffee over to Cait.
