Crawls in from the dark corners of the rafters, fluttering down to the couch and curls up to watch the flames of the fire. With a bit of fae dust, I refresh the logs and perk the flames up a bit more...

I'm trying to come back, been dealing with a severe sinus infection in the mortal realm... It is slowly starting to clear up a little, it's been a fight tho that's for sure. It's supposed to rain today, hopefully it will be enough to at least tame the 100000 fires we have roaming around here.

Good to hear things are improving Kat the rain should help. All the fires are across the sound and east of me so all I have to deal with is the smoke.

I pour my morning coffee then enfold Kat into my arms and kiss her with a dark passion.

It's finally raining here, seems like it's quite a bit too, hopefully it is reaching the areas where the fires are to tame them down a bit.

It is a cool overcast day rain beats against the widow pains, the cobbles of the courtyard shine in the gray light of day. I wish I had something to write two.

The overcast skies and drizzle of fall have seemed to have set in, and we are back to leaden skies and pale gray light. Yet the fire laid on the hearth, and its subtle warmth warms the body and lightens the spirit. I sip my morning coffee and sacrifice a virgin log to the lusty flames...........Umm a virgin sacrifice ............how delightful. ish

Another day dawns as I pour my morning coffee. It is time for another log on the hearth and to coax last night remaining coals into life.

She came from nowhere and yet, everywhere.

"Good Morning, CG. How are you doing?"

She went to the coffee pot and poured herself a cup of the hot brew, smelling it with satisfaction and then wandered over to a comfy chair and curled up, sipping her coffee.

Yes, my sweet wolf, I’m doing better. Unexpected stuff came outta no where, but all is good now. It is getting colder here too, been snuggling up in my blankie with Fluffy keeping me warm. Lol.. hell hounds are such good heaters. Today is the day i catch up on some much overdue replies. I’m determined to get my stories caught up!!!

I smile as I anticipate Kat's post to our naughty little tale. The leaden skies of the last few days are now a milky gray as the sun struggles to chase away the shadows of knight.

Seems that the grey skies and rain are affecting both coasts these days... the West where CG is and the East where I am...
It is muggy, oddly warm, and rainy here in the Northeast....

Yes it is rainy here in the Northwest there is a marked chill in the air. A day one wishes to have a yong naked beauty to curl up with.

The skies are touched with blue today and the sun is playing hide and seek with the gray clouds. This being said there are sun showers. A day to place and other log on the fire and enjoy a fortified coffee with a generous splash of rum.

I'm not sure what it's trying to do, CG. I thought winter was setting in, then it got up into the 80's this past week. Now we're back in to the 50's. Go figure.

Hmmmm. That all in all of yours does not reassure me but I'll take what I can get. s his cheek. You know me, CG. I can always find the coffee.

Do get many, if not any, kids for Halloween? We do. So, candy is bought and I have to get the decorations up from the basement this week.

No Cait we do not get many kids in fact in the last two years none have shown up. the people put more efforts into fire works for the fourth and all summer. In fact I still get some folks setting them off even now.

Winter is coming evenings are now in the low 40F's here so a fire late in the day is a good thing. Highs are about 50F.

The sun finally made an appearance today and it was pleasantly warm out..

I am looking forward to the cooler weather tho... Fall is my favorite time of year here in the Northeast... With the leaves turning and football and hockey to enjoy!!

Rain I did enjoy fall and winter when I was in New Hampshire. I still enjoy fall here in the Northwest the smell of smoke on the air from home fires, but winter features cold rain instead of snow.

When I was in Calif. we didn't get any kids either. Here, we get kids and some fireworks. We're down to the 30's at night. We seem to be at the 50's for the most part during the day. Still, today was icky out. No sun, all clouds with rain in the morning and I'm always cold no matter what I put on during the day.

Oh, I am a great fan of sweaters Cait. I fear that always being cold comes with age. My feet are always cold but my wood stove does keep things warm hear. We are coming up on the time of rain all the time. In winter I feel like a duck Cait.

When I lived in Tacoma, Wa. and it started raining, it never seemed to stop and I learned a couple of things about myself. One, I was always cold, no matter how many layers I wore and two, I also felt like a duck. I use to go around and randomly quack when I was out with a friend. It made them laugh.

I'm a great fan of sweaters, CG but like I was telling Logan the other day, I am very fond of men's sweaters. They're thicker and baggier on me so when I wear my leggings with them I feel so very cozy.

I would say sexy Cait. There is something about a girl in just a man's sweater and nothing else. Shall we say it get's me warm all over. Even better if she is bare leg and barefoot.

I am on the west side of the sound about an hour from Tacoma Cait.

There is a marked chill in the air. Once more the skies are a leaden gray and the wind whistles around the eves. I continent myself with a mug of fresh brew coffee and another log for the fire.
