part 11 of the China Pearl Inn

Awe but Jack it would be raining cushions on us from the rafters as they are Cait's favorite haunts, and provides the most fetching views. ;)

Looking up to make sure no cushions come down on me.

I know you care....Any chance of getting an old fashion?

One old fashion coming right up Jack.

I look to the rafters to make sure I am clear of any possible falling cushions and perhaps a peek at a certain Miss's shapely legs.

You're welcome a small thing...back pain can ruin your day.
Yeah... I don't know how long I sat at the comp today writing for you as I was in the zone and just couldn't stop until I had to, but when I finally got up, it wasn't pleasant. Usually, I'm good. That recent fall I took really messed with my side and back muscles and just reclining and resting doesn't do me a bit of good. I have to move until I can't. Hey and small gestures mean something. :rose:

Well, I thoroughly enjoy reading it, and I break for other things. You captured a lot of great stuff in the story. I hope it gets more manageable so you can enjoy life without hurting your back. A coworker has chronic back issues, and it puts a damper on things for him from time to time.

Western Trails Meal...Let's see beans, Eggs, biscuits, and coffee that could take the paint off a wagon. Perfect.

I make my way down from my loft. There is a chill in the air this morning. I pour myself a mug of black coffee and fortify it with a healthy splash of dark rum. I settle in my old leather chair by the hearth and contemplate a morning fire to chase away the chill.

Morning to any who may be about and to those who hide in the shadows.

I come in from the Inn's courtyard and tending to the dwarf pines by the coy pond in the corner of the courtyard. The soft trickling of water falling from the lion head fountain on the wall. the soft splash of water is relaxing as I work. The fountain and the soft whispering water are good for the soul but the trimming and pruning work is not so good for the back.

Take it slow, CG. Not always easy, I understand. My back is a total mess. This time I really bruised it but from my last MRI, I have bone spurs and they're growing inward instead out according to my doctor. What's bugging the heck out of me right now is that I can't get the injections (not insulin) I need for my Type 2 diabetes. Backordered they say. Now, I have to wonder why all of sudden. Is it because of the many women who want them for weight loss? Or is big pharma holding out for more money? I don't know, but this red head is getting mighty ticked off over the issue.

Being jaded as I am Cait I would say they are holding out for more money. and approval for more authorized uses too, OH, yes rake in more money!

By back is riddled with bone spurs, pinched nerves, and arthritis. But being of a rather stubborn nature I refuse to lay down. Pain is something I can deal with. Much to my determent I have a high level of pain tolerance Cait.

I see you and jack are writing.

Yes. Jack and I are having a blast.

Oh, you got me beat. I wish I had a higher threshold for pain. Like you, I just refuse to lie down, I'm too damn stubborn. Also like you, I've learned to live with my pain but I refuse to let anyone see it when at all possible.

It is a sark overcast day, the rain beating against the window pain. I lay a small fire on the hearth to chase away the cold and dampness. Once more the sirens' call of coffee calls to me. It's sensuous aroma filling my nostrils.

Good day to any who may be about and to those that hide in the shadows.

I applaud Cait's imaginative sensually seductive dance on the old Inn's bar.

Very nice Cait you have brightened my day and  moved me with your danced.

Jack is that a Dunkin Doughnut or a Krispy Cream doughnut, or possibly a Tim Horton doughnut?

I'm more of a Dunkin man, but both are also two very good options. Store-bought wise one can't go wrong with Entenmann's

I just finished a 1,200-word introduction to a possible roleplay. I hope my partner likes it. I kept her waiting. I hope it isn't too much.

Still, it felt good to do a bit of writing. So far today, I've submitted a roleplaying game online turn, a short erotic roleplay entry for a friend, and the above item, and I want to finish another story entry for a friend.

Working out body and mind today.

Awwww, CG... you make me blush. *adjusts her clothing as she hops down and grabs a cup of coffee* Not so much seductive or sensual, but hey, I'll take the compliment, thank you.
Doughnuts? Where? *eyes JH's* Damn. I should have asked the hubby to bring me back one. Ah, well, don't really need it. I have a doctor's appointment next month.

So, what's up for today guys? Personally, I'm going to write and then head over to play some World of Warcraft today. It just feels like a lazy day to me.

Likewise Cait just lazing about. ;)

And yes your dance was both sensual and seductive Miss.
