part 11 of the China Pearl Inn

Tio comes from the back room with a mop and pail.

"I'll do the floor; it's time to wash off the residue of winter's snow. Jack's Lego town and train could use a dusting, but I'd leave that for Jack when he's in again. There's a bit of a backlog of dishes in the kitchen; if you wash, I'll be finished here in time to dry."

He dips the mop in the pail and wrings it to start on the floor.

"As for our story, Tess seems to have forgotten Arthur wanted to talk to her, but I think he's reconsidered it, so we'll take it from where it is. Anything specific you'd like to see?"

Tio,

It's an easy fix, if you want. Just take an addition of of a few words. but if you want to leave it, we can do that.

I think I'll go with what's there. I'll see tonight.

"It's nice to see the place sparkling clean again, Cait," Tio said as he returned to his favorite place in the Pearl.

Ish came in, sluggish and feeling tired a little. It was not just cause of work, it was also due to other things. He checked his notepad to see what was on the agenda. "That one Buyout story with the one girl is on standby, the Bikini Beach one is on standby too, several others as well."

He took a seat near the bar like he always does and relaxes. Taking a look at his notepad once again.

I slowly make my way down from my loft. The need for coffee driving me on. Slowly I sit, coffee in hand, I gingerly take a seat by the hearth.

Good day to any who may be about, sorry I have not been about, but I have not been well.

Good day to any who may be about.

She slips in with a pen tucked behind her ear and heads for behind the bar to retrieve a cup of coffee.

"Morning CG."

She studies him closely as she knows he hasn't and isn't well.

"How are you feeling today?"

Not the greatest Cait but a mug of hot coffee and a pretty visitor always improve my day. ;)

Pours him a mug of coffee and brings it over to him, adding a kiss on his cheek.

"I hope that helps. "

"Take care of yourself, cg," says Tio as he rises once more from his seat. "Cait and I did some clean-up to the Inn. Let us know if there's anything else we can take care of."

He pours himself a café-Redbreast and sits at the bar.

Yes Cait it dose help especially when served with a sweet kiss young lady. ;)
Tio you and Cait did a great job and many thanks as you have the inn ship shape in Bristol Fashion.

"Take care of yourself, cg," says Tio as he rises once more from his seat. "Cait and I did some clean-up to the Inn. Let us know if there's anything else we can take care of."

He pours himself a café-Redbreast and sits at the bar.
Yes, indeed. It's the least we could do. JH has been away taking care of some business of his own, but I expect he'll be back shortly.

Tio you and Cait did a great job and many thanks as you have the inn ship shape in Bristol Fashion.
She grinned and blew him a kiss from where she had returned to her seat at the bar.

"Now, if you gents will excuse me, I have some writing to catch up on. My shoulder has been paining me lately and I haven't been able to sit down and write like I would like to.

I make my way slowly down from my Loft to the old Inn's common room, I idly wonder when the stairs got so long and so steep. I yet my noonday coffee and find my seat in the old leather chair by the hearth. The sun streaming through the widow is a pleasant sight for sore eyes.

Good day to any who may be about and to those that hide in the shadows.

The sun is bright today and the temps feel like early spring. The sun is warm, the temps still a bit chilly. Yet the sun's warmth seduces me to sit outside in the Inn's courtyard with my morning coffee.

Again unseasonably warmth calls me out to enjoy a mug of tea in the Inn's courtyard. It feels good to feel the sun on my old bones.

G'day to any who may be about and to those that hide in the shadows.

"Hopefully we've seen the last of the snows," Tio declares as he rises from writing his response to Cait. "Ho are you feeling, cg?"

He stretches and goes behind the bar for a refill of Redbreast.

"Anything I can get for you, cg?" he asks as he returns the bottle to the shelf.

I am feeling a bit better Tio as it is in the upper 60F today. Warm but not hot. I trust the weather is improving for you as well/
Ah but rain tomorrow and Monday. :(

Good to hear you're improving, cg. Still cold here. the rain will freeze tonight. We've had snow as late as May fifth, but I think we're finished with it now.
Rain today, tomorrow, into Monday morn.

Tio, we pick up with rain on Sunday and watch the temps fall to the lower 50f and chill rain. Like they say if you don't like the weather wait a minute. ;)

Ah the rain is back, and the temps have dropped. A day by the fire on the hearth is called for and a bit of Russian tea with vodka. Just to warm the spirits.

Tio comes in from the warmth and the cold to the stable comfort of the inn.

"Warm and cold, sun and rain, the weather can't make up its mind, cg. Time now to be indoors, a comfortable chair, a hearty drink, and some good company by the hearth. How go your tales of erotic adventure, old friend?"

Tio they are keeping me pleasantly busy. I am hoping for a post from Cait. She can really capture my imagination with her writing.
I think some real hot chocolate with a good splash of rum is in order.

Sound good, cg. I think I'll join you. I'm waiting for a response from Cait as well. Her responses are always worth waiting for.

That they are Tio. ;)
I melt dark baker's chocolate and then slowly add Cream milk and rum whisky till all ingredients are combined tan pour two mugs and pass Tio a mug.
To your health Tio.
