Path to Elysian

The visit to the Sheriff's Office was rather awkward... for the Sheriff. It became very obvious that his deputies had not handled the situation at Paige's cabin very well. Fortunately for them, it was a very cut and dried case. Two bad guys had broken into a house after robbing a bank. The one that was alive was holding the homeowner against her will, and had been eliminated by an off-duty BPD Lieutenant. Yes, the stat Attorney General would have to weigh in on it, but, considering the situation, it was just a formality.

Michael made sure that the Sheriff notified the BPD of his involvement and that he was going to be unable to work on the street until the AG weighed in. Michael made sure to get his badge back, but knew that he wouldn't be leaving with his gun... not yet, anyway.

Before leaving the Sheriff's Office, Michael asked him about a cleaner... someone that could clean up the cabin now that crime scene investigators were finished. The Sheriff told Michael that he had someone. Michael asked the Sheriff to contact them and have them take care of cleaning up Paige's house. "I will take care of the bill. It doesn't go to Paige or to her father. Also, stop calling her father about everything. It really is not a good look for you. You look like nothing more than a lackey to him. Plus, he doesn't own a home here... Paige does."

When he arrived back at the B&B, Michael talked to the owner about getting breakfast in the room instead of having Paige come down for breakfast. She was more than happy to oblige. Michael waited. He told the proprietor that he would take it to the room.

Once breakfast was prepared, Michael carried it to the room. When he went inside, he saw Paige laying on the bed wrapped in nothing but a towel. Circumstances being different, he would have unwrapped the towel and woke Paige up. Now, however, he just laid down next to her and wrapped his arm around her.. holding her in a protective manner.

When Paige sat up in the bed, Michael sat up and moved away from her just a bit. He didn't want her to think he was trying something inappropriate. He just wanted her to know that he was there for her.

"Everything is fine. The Sheriff knows what happened. He is going to want to talk to you to confirm everything, but even his Barney Fife deputies could figure out the situation. I just have to wait for the Attorney General to review everything and rubber stamp that it was a good shooting on my part."

Reaching out, Michael took Paige's hand in his. "Are you okay Paige? That is all that is important right now."

It was all that was important? Paige was quiet for a bit as she thought about it. Was she OK? It seemed she was always being rescued by Michael... that one time at the ER... him standing up for her to her father. With a shrug, Paige spoke quietly, "I guess so. I just feel guilty you have to end up fixing my messes. If I remember correctly, when something happens when you're off duty and you're involved... don't they suspend you or something of the like? I don't want to get you in trouble with your job because of my actions."

"I am glad you are stubborn though. If you hadn't gotten there when you did.. I don't know what he would have done." She remembered the entire scenario again and felt a lump in the back of her throat. No, she didn't want to break down crying. She was stronger than that. Besides it wouldn't help anything right now. She gave Michael's hands a squeeze before backing up and standing, "I guess I should get dressed, go and talk to the Sheriff and then get back to the city so I can get to my shift on time."

She got her clothes and wished she had something different to put on... some clean clothes but why bother? After the sheriff, she would need to go back to the cabin and get her car. She would also need to survey the damage to her place and see what needed to be fixed and replaced. The couch was the number one thing that came to mind. She could tell Michael was frustrated with her and how she was acting as if this was just another day. Once she was dressed, she saw him on the phone and didn't interrupt him as she sat at the edge of the bed by the tray of food and picked at it. She was hungry but she wasn't.

He ended the call and Paige saw the frustration on his face, "What's wrong?"

"Well, I knew I would be on the sidelines for a while until the Attorney General completed their investigation. That is standard with any police-involved shooting. I also knew that I would be cleared pretty quickly considering the circumstances. Now, however, it seems that BPD wants to have a hearing on why I had my service weapon out here, and why I did not call the local police, hell, they don't even realize it is a Sheriff's Office out here. They are saying I should have waited for the locals to get here."

Taking a breath before continuing, Michael found that it didn't help and he just got angrier. "This is the Chief trying to get at me before all of the shit hits the fan about him and the woman he was with while driving drunk." He looked at Paige. "I would not be surprised if your father had something to do with it, either. The two of them were scheming when I left them at the hospital. This situation may play right into their hands."

He could see the look on Paige's face. "It will be okay. Sorry for venting like that. Listen, why don't I go back to the cabin and get you a change of clothes. Then, I will take you to the Sheriff's Office. While you are there, I will go and see about securing your front door until it can be replaced. No more glass in the front door.. okay?"

Paige started to object to Michael going back to the cabin, but Michael would have none of it. "Just tell me what you want me to get for you and where I can find it. I will be back in no time, and then we will get you over the see the Sheriff."

Michael returned with a change of clothes. While he was at the cabin, the cleaning outfit arrived. He told them that he wanted it done well from top to bottom. "I want the only evidence that something happened here to be the broken window in the door, and I will be back in a little while to secure that."

After delivering the clothes to Paige, Michael waited until she changed and then took her to the Sheriff's Office. "Relax. Just tell them what happened. Just give them the facts... nothing less.. nothing more. You will be fine Paige." He leaned over and kissed her lightly before getting out of the car and walking her to the door.

Once Paige was inside, Michael went to the hardware store to get what he needed to secure the door, and then headed back to the cabin. He checked to see how the cleaning company was doing and got to work on the door. After finishing the door, Michael took some measurements. He was going to have to make sure the door was replaced with one that was secure. He wasn't sure Paige would focus on that once she went back into the city and got to work.

Before he left, he checked to see how much longer the cleaners would be. When he got back to the Sheriff's Office, Paige was just finishing up. She looked a little frazzled, but it also looked like she was happy to get it over with. Michael asked Paige for the keys to her car, and then asked the Sheriff if a deputy could ride out to the cabin with him to get Paige's car. The Sheriff agreed.

After dropping Paige back at the B&B, Michael and the deputy rode out to get the car. The cleaning company was just wrapping things up. He got the bill from them and told them he would pay it and that Paige was not to know about it. Once they got back to the B&B with her car, Michael told Paige he would follow her back to the city. He knew she would not miss work.

The drive was long... longer than it should have been. If Michael wasn't following her, she was sure she could have sped home. In the car, Paige made a call to her boss and got the riot act about thinking of showing up to work. Instead, she had insisted Paige take a couple of days off because the last thing the ER needed was a doctor who had gone through a traumatic event and possibly making a mistake.

So Paige drove home, Michael was still following her. She parked and then he parked beside her. She got out of the car and leaned against it, waiting for him. She knew he had seen her look defeated and as he walked over to her, she wrapped her arms around him, holding him close. She hadn't realize she was crying as everything hit her at once.

The next thing she felt Michael pick her up in his arms and carry her to her apartment. She held on tightly, not wanting to let go. It may have lasted a bit but when it was sort of over, she felt a wave of exhaustion come over her.

"i just want to go to bed... don't go yet, please?" She asked him. She would understand if he wanted to leave but she was really hoping he wouldn't...

The ride home was long. Michael knew that Paige had to be exhausted; not just physically, but mentally and emotionally after what she had gone through. He knew how committed to work she was, but he hoped to be able to talk her into taking a few days off after her ordeal.

When he got out of the car, and walked over to Paige, he could tell that she had made the decision on her own to stay out of work. He was happy that she had. It was the right decision for her to make. She needed to recover from what had happened.

Carrying her into her apartment, Michael held her close to him. He knew that she needed support, and he was willing to help her with it. After all, she had helped him when he needed it after being shot.

He walked straight into her bedroom and sat her on the edge of the bed. After helping her get ready for bed, Michael pulled the covers up over her. "I will be right here when you wake up Paige. You get some sleep now." He leaned down and kissed her cheek and remained seated on the edge of the bed. He wanted her to know that he was there for her, but he wanted to be careful not to be too close after such a traumatic experience.

Once Michael was sure that Paige was sound asleep, he moved off the bed and into the chair Paige had next to the bed. He was still close enough that Paige would know he was there when she woke up. While sitting there, he received a text from a number that he didn't recognize.

"Shooting Review Board hearing tomorrow at 10 am."

Wow, they were moving real fast. There was no way that the Attorney General had completed their review even though it was a good shooting and an easy one to determine, the AG's Office never moved that quickly. So, his own department was looking to hold a kangaroo court. This was probably a desperate attempt by the Chief to get rid of him. Michael was sure that the mayor was involved in this.

Michael texted with the Inspector from Night Command to make sure that he was going to keep the pressure on the Chief. He assured Michael that he was, and wanted to know why Michael was checking about it. Michael let the Inspector know what was going on with the shooting and how the Chief had convened a review Board already. The Inspector told Michael to take care of himself, and he would take care of the Chief.

Sitting in Paige's bedroom, with the curtains drawn to make sure it stayed dark in the room, Michael wondered what he would do if they were able to get rid of him. He knew the AG's review would come back clean, but his own PD's review was going to be politically motivated.

Paige had been awake for a few minutes but hadn't moved. Instead, she was watching Michael as he sat there. Even in the darkened room, she saw how in a zone he seemed to be. Something troubled him... it wasn't just a sense, it was... it just was something she could tell.

She sighed quietly and cleared her throat, "So, what's for dinner?" She asked him quietly. He was quickly by her side as he took a seat on the edge of her bed. Reaching over, Paige took his hand in hers, "You looked like you were thinking hard over there... is something wrong?"

He didn't answer her, and instead, asked her what she wanted for dinner. "I know this sounds crazy but, I really want some fast food."

That was all she had to say and he was gone, getting them food. While he was gone, Paige got up out of bed and took another shower. A hot shower. After that, she got into some comfortable clothes and then sat on the couch before turning on the TV. She was trying to find something to watch when she came across a news story about the Christmas Gala that happened in her absence. Seeing all that were there made her glad she had decided not to go... not that what had happened to her was any better. But to put on a fake smile and be friendly to those who wanted to win her father's favor, she was not liking that.

Well, the last time she had been at one of his fancy parties, she had told him it was her last one because she wasn't there to support him anymore now that he had won office. From there, he was on his own and that she would be concentrating on her own life.

As she got more comfortable, she found a nameless comedy show and let it play as she thought about all that had happened in the past 48 hours...

That's when she heard her name and then a banging on the door. "Oh fucking perfect..." she said under her breath and walked to the door. As she unlocked it, it swung open, almost hitting her leg as she tried to step out of the way, "Hey...what the hell is wrong with you?"

Her father didn't seem to notice, "I have been trying to get in contact with you all day and nothing!"

"My phone was kind of destroyed because I was being held hostage... oh, and by the way, aside from a few cuts and bruises, I'm fine, thanks for asking. Now, what do you want?!"

"Look at you... I told you not to miss the gala. Now, see what happened? If you had attended like I said, you wouldn't have gotten into this mess. And as for that damn cabin, I told you to get rid of it. You don't need it. It's just been trouble for you."

Rolling her eyes, Paige walked to the door and opened it, "Get out." She said quietly. It hurt her to know that her father would find a way to turn himself in the victim. She also knew he'd find a way to blame what happened to her as being her fault.

"Get out?! How dare you--"

"No! How dare you!" she shot back at him. Paige's voice raised a notch as she told him it was time for him to butt out of her life and to leave her alone. How everything was always about him... and no matter what, she was to blame.

"You are going to regret this Paige, I swear... first I'll take care of that cop friend of yours tomorrow at the hearing! And then--"

"Wait.. a hearing?! What hearing? And why!? Because he came to my defense at a time I needed it?! Because he killed a man who was going to kill me?! You just try to pull whatever strings you think you have, Dad. But trust me, I know a lot more about you than you'll ever know." She walked up to him, pointing a finger in his face, "You think your past is buried? No. Grandpa told me all about it. He made me promise not to let you know that I know... you don't believe me?! Do you remember Debra? Remember Debra, dad?! Yeah, your first wife who died mysteriously... at least that's what you want people to think."

That's all Paige had to say because if she knew this, then she knew a whole lot more that he had realized. All her father could do was stand there in disbelief. "So you pull whatever strings you have to get the chief off of Michael's back and leave him alone. Or trust me, I will end your career as mayor before you even take the oath! Now leave."

Fast food. Paige wanted fast food. It had been a long time since Michael had fast food. When they were rehabbing together at the cabin, they ate healthy all the time. There was never any junk food there, and he had kept that up since being back to work. Now, there was an opportunity for some greasy food. He was going to take advantage of it, and he could blame it on Paige.

Not only did Michael get fast food, he stopped at multiple places to get food. He wasn't sure what Paige wanted, but he got burgers, chicken, roast beef sandwiches, and fries from each of the different places. He was going to present Paige with a veritable smorgasbord of fast food.

The one thing that fast food shopping did for Michael was to take his mind off of the hearing that he was going to have to attend. He knew that he was being railroaded, but for the moment he was focused on taking care of what Paige had asked for.

As he walked up to Paige's apartment with his arms full of food, he could hear some some loud voices. It was Paige and her father that he heard and he could tell that Paige was being very assertive... not shouting, but talking in a way that would definitely get someone's attention, and right now it seemed she had her father's attention, because he had stopped talking.

Michael walked in the door as he heard Paige tell her father to leave. Stepping to the side, Michael stared at Mr. Jackson before looking to Paige. "You okay babe?" He added the babe for her father, because Michael knew that it would piss him off.

They watched Paige's father leave, and then Michael placed the food on the kitchen counter. He walked over to Paige and put his hands on her hips. "I certainly hope that he did not ruin your appetite. I wasn't sure what exactly you wanted, so, I made multiple stops." He laughed as he looked into her eyes... he really hoped that the jackass hadn't ruined his chance for fast food.

"So, tell me what was that all about? Why did he come here in the first place? Was he trying to act like he was worried about you now?"

Did she just tell her father to get out of her place? Wait... did she just tell her father what to do? Paige was more upset than scared. She had never defied her father before. At least not like this. He gave her one more glare before turning to leave. The thing about all this, this wasn't over. He was going to get his way and Paige knew that.

Just then, Michael walked in with a pile of fast food. He looked at her father and then to her before asking her if everything was OK. Paige just gave him a small nod, her eyes never leaving her father. Surprisingly, he didn't slam the door. She let out a breath she hadn't realized she was holding.

She then turned her attention to Michael as he put the bags of food down, the smell making her hungrier than she had been before. Feeling his hands on her sides, she looked up at Michael, pushing what just happened out of her mind for the time being. Man, her father certainly had a way of ruining things lately.

Paige shook her head, "Never. I'm still starving. I don't think anything can ruin my appetite."

Telling him what her father had did when he came over, she shrugged, "So, all in all, with what happened to me the other night, it's all my fault. If I had just gone to the gala like I was supposed to then none of this wouldn't have happened.

She got them some drinks, 2 beers and two bottles of water. She then looked at the food again, "You went everywhere, it seems." She knew they had stayed with healthy eating when they were together at the cabin and well, it was what Paige was used to, so tonight, this was definitely an indulgence.

They ate in silence for a few minutes before Paige spoke up, "He told me you had a hearing tomorrow... why didn't you tell me?"

"You didn't tell me what you wanted. You just said you wanted fast food, and I didn't want to disappoint you, so, I got a little of just about everything. I figured we could each try a little from each place. Of course, this will just mean I will have to go for a run later. Although, it won't be like running up at your cabin."

Despite the desire to devour the food, Michael ate slowly. He looked up when Paige mentioned tomorrow's meeting. "I didn't want to bother you with it. You have been through a lot. This is my battle and I want you to stress about it. I will be fine."

Going back to eating his food, Michael started thinking about what got him to the situation he was in. It was all about telling Paige's father off after her mother had walked in on Paige and Michael together. Paige's father certainly was a vindictive asshole. He was going after Michael despite the fact that Michael had saved his life after the speech, and he had rescued Paige from the guy who had invaded her cabin.

He never wanted any accolades for what he had done. Saving the mayor during the campaign was just doing his job. That was what he was hired to do as a police officer, and that was what he did. When it came to saving Paige, he was just protecting someone he loved. His thoughts stopped. Did he just think that? In his thoughts, he said he loved Paige.

Looking back at Paige. He smiled at her. "Listen, everything will be okay. I am going to be fine in the hearing tomorrow. I have a plan, and if they want to push their agenda it will come back hard on them... both the Chief and your father. I know your father is used to getting what he wants, but he doesn't know me that well. He doesn't know what I have been through in the past, and he has no idea what I will do to protect myself an those I care about."

Michael stood up and walked around the counter to Paige. He wrapped his arms around her from behind and kissed her neck softly. Whispering to her, "Paige, I know that what happened to you was traumatic. I want you to know that I will do anything and everything to make sure that you are okay.. mind, body and spirit. I won't let anyone or anything hurt you."

Kissing her cheek as he continued to hug her from behind, Michael hoped that he was able to take Paige's mind off of tomorrow's meeting. He wanted her to focus on getting herself to a better place and not worry about him.

He said he was going to be fine. And Paige did believe that but she knew her father also. Right now, she was dealing with two stubborn men. But really, she'd rather deal with Michael's stubborness rather than her father's.

Feeling his strong arms wrap around her, Paige leaned against him, His whisperings sent shivers through her as he assured her he would be fine.

"I'm OK... for the most part..." she turned in her seat and wrapped her arms around his neck, planting a soft kiss on his lips, "I believe you that you wouldn't let anything happen to me." She told him, staring into his eyes. It was then she took on a serious tone, clearing her throat, "as much as I want to end up where I think it's going... can we eat first?" She said, trying to keep a serious look before shoving a fry in his mouth. "Sound good?"

After she gave him the soft kiss and then proceeded to shove the fry into her mouth, Michael laughed. "Oh, so you think you know where this was going? I don't think you really do." He backed away from Paige and reached over and picked up a hamburger.

"You want to eat? Fine." With that, he unwrapped the burger and playfully smashed it into Paige's face... pushing it against her mouth. "Come on... open wide. I have plenty of food here. I am going to make sure you eat it all, and if you don't open your mouth, it is going to be all over you."

The next 15 minutes was a wild, all-out food fight. Hamburgers were smashed, Chicken was tossed. Roast beef was fluing across the counter. At one point, Michael opened a ketchup packet and squirted it in Paige's hair as he ran around the counter and moved behind her. Then he moved back to the other side of the counter to take cover.

It was chaos, and they both loved it. It was two people who had been going through an extremely stressful time letting off some steam, and enjoying every second of it with no thought about the mess they were making and the clean up that would be involved once they came back to their senses.

As Michael stood up from his cover position behind the counter, a chicken breast whacked him right in the nose. It stunned him for a second. Paige had really fired it at him. He looked at her and smiled. "So, that is how this is going to go, huh. OK."

Picking up the last, untouched burger, which was a double cheeseburger, Michael slowly started to move around the counter. Paige started tossing french fries at him; they bounce off Michael's face and chest, but he didn't react. He just stared at Paige and gave her an evil smile. Paige started moving away. The next thing they knew, Michael was chasing Paige in circles around the counter.

"Come here my dear. You said you were hungry. You said you wanted fast food. You said you wanted to eat first. Well, this is the last burger, and I have saved it just for you." He moved quickly toward Paige, but slipped on the food that was all over the floor. His hand caught Paige's ankle as he went down, which resulted on Paige ending up on the floor. Crawling over the debris covering the floor, Michael moved on top of Paige.

"Open wide." He took the burger and pressed it to Paige's mouth... laughing hysterically as he did it.

The kitchen was a disaster area.

And Paige loved it. She had gotten in a few good throws of messy cheese fries, half a hot dog, and a few onion rings.

She probably should have been mad but hell no, she still had a few tricks under her sleeve. She tried to turn her head and away from the burger pressing against her mouth as her right hand blindly felt around and it came across a cup. She wasn't sure what exactly was in it but she was desperate and grabbed it and then pulled open the neck of MIchael's shirt and dumped the contents down his shirt. It was enough for him to drop the burger but not get off of Paige as she grabbed the dropped burger and lifted his shirt and rubbed it against his stomach before yanking the shirt down and punching him in the gut... not hard of course but hard enough to squish the burger and stain his shirt.

Almost in no time, Paige found herself on top of him as she held a mess of grabbed food in one hand and another drink in the other. Holding it over his head, she asked him in between laughs, "Give up!" she told him "Or else..." she slowly tipped the cup.... "Say it Michael..."

He was laughing so hard that he could not resist Paige when she pulled open the neck of his shirt and dumped the iced tea down his shirt. He continued to laugh, but the intense cold from the tea running down his body caused him to lose control of the situation.

Although still on top of her, Paige was able to grab his shirt and cover his stomach with mustard and ketchup and even a pickle from the burger that she rubbed over him when she lifted his shirt. When she punched him, it smashed the burger, covering his stomach in pieces of the bun which stayed on his body with the ketchup and mustard acting like a glue.

Suddenly, Michael found himself on the bottom. He had been laughing so hard that he couldn't resist Paige as she turned the tables on him. He looked up at Paige straddling his hips as she grabbed a giant handful of food that had been scattered over the floor. Then, he saw that she had another drink in her hand. Michael looked into her eyes as she told him to say that he gave up. The look he gave her was a dare.

"You won't do it. You are not going to waste the last drink by pouring it over me. Also, you know that if you pour it on me that you will have nothing left, and I am going to end up winning. So, no, I am not going to say that I give up and you won't pour the drink or dump the food on me."

"You win?! Is that all you're concerned about??" Paige said, trying not to laugh as she moved the drink away from him, but not getting off him, "The way I see it, you're the loser in all this Lieutenant..." She was going to mention that her place was a mess because of him but if she did, it would sound like she was blaming him when she really wasn't. It was a mess they both took part in.

There was a dead silence between them as they faced off before Paige broke into a fit of giggles and set the drink aside before collapsing on Michael, not realizing she was smashing the burger in his shirt more against him.

Laying in his arms, both of them were a complete mess from the food, none of which reached their mouths. Paige giggled once more and sighed, "I'm still hungry..."

That made them both break out into another fit of laughter as she held her sides, which hurt by now from the endless laughing. He sure knew how to get her mind off of what had transpired earlier tonight with her father. She owed Michael so much and look what had happened to him. He was facing a damn hearing most likely pushed into action by her father.

When Paige collapsed down on him, Michael laughed loudly. The burger that she had spread over his abs was now really smashed into him. He wrapped his arms around her as they laid there covered in food. For a moment he thought about the mess that he was going to have to clean up. After all, he had started their little food war.

When Paige said that she was still hungry, Michael joined her in a fit of laughter. He couldn't believe the playful side of Paige. He had really only known the serious, Dr. Jackson side.

Reaching out, Michael grabbed a smashed chicken sandwich that was still in its wrapper. Taking it out of the wrapper without Paige knowing it, he brought it to Paige's mouth; pressing it to her lips. "Here, have some chicken" As Paige playfully took a bite of the sandwich, Michael reached for the cup that Paige had threatened him with.

Picking the cup up, he, without any warning, dumped it over Paige's head. The soda ran through her hair and also spilled down on Michael's face; almost making him feel like we was being waterboarded. He heard Paige scream as the cold soda poured over her.

He couldn't help but laughing harder. "Well, I guess now you really need a shower."

Paige's side was hurting from all their laughing... and screaming. Especially when the drink was poured over her head.

He said something about a shower and she laughed, "I just took a shower... but look at you, you're going to need one too." As much as she didn't want all this to end, she sighed and looked around. The kitchen and connected dining room were both a complete mess.

"Well... shit." She said and smiled up at Michael as the sticky soda came down in drips from her hair. She stood up and waited for Michael to stand also. He started to pick things off the floor but Paige stopped him and took him by the hand, "Hey... this can wait. Besides, you made a mess of me and this place, so it's only fair you come get me clean in the shower."

She didn't wait for him to protest as she led him to her bedroom and then to the bathroom. She turned on the water and turned to Michael as she pulled her shirt off, feeling not one bit shy in front of him, "Last one in has to clean the kitchen..." she said pulling off her leggings....

Michael stood and watched Paige undress. Despite her statement that the last one in had to clean the kitchen, Michael wasn't rushed. He simply watched Paige reveal her wonderful body to him.

As Paige stepped into the shower, Michael removed his shirt. When he did, the burger that Paige had pressed to his stomach fell to the floor. "Well, it looks like someone is going to need to clean the bathroom too. Removing his pants and his boxer, Michael climbed into the shower with Paige.

Moving behind her as she let the water cascade over her body, Michael told Paige to get her hair wet. After she had done so, Michael poured shampoo into his hand and then began to work it into Paige's hair. As he worked the shampoo into her hair, he then began to massage Paige's scalp with his fingertips. When he noticed that she seemed to be enjoying it, he pressed his body to hers... spreading the ketchup and mustard from the hamburger onto Paige's body.

Michael then moved under the water and rinsed his body off, getting rid of the remnants of the food fight before resuming the attention on her hair. Once he was finished, and while Paige rinsed her hair, Michael reached for the conditioner. He worked the conditioner into her hair, and while the conditioner was in her hair, Michael picked up her body wash, and poured some into his hands. "Time to get your body clean."

He started at her shoulders and took his time; reapplying body wash as he went. Slowly he moved his hands down her body; savoring every minute; enjoying every touch. As he moved his soapy hands over her breasts, Michael could feel Paige's erect nipples pressing to his fingers and then into his palms. He took his time on her breasts, before moving down her body. As far as Michael was concerned, they could spend the rest of the day in the shower.

Paige placed her hands on Michael's sides as she leaned her head back a bit and lost herself in his washing her hair. She enjoyed his touch as it sent shivers through her despite the warm shower.

Yes, they were both a total mess from the food fight but so what? It could all be cleaned, although this would require more food later tonight as nothing made it to their mouths. With at, Paige smiled faintly and sighed contently. She rubbed her hands along Michael's sides, using her nails to lightly scorch his skin before reaching for some of her body wash and opening the bottle and squeezing some onto her hand. She put the bottle back blindly and rubbed her hands together to get a lather before she ran it up his stomach and across his chest.

Her eyes locked with his as they stared into each other's eyes. There was something there she hadn't seen before and it caused her to look away. She felt it too... she loved him.

Pressing her chest against his, her breasts pressed against him as her hands worked around his back and down his hips... all had been happening slowly and she felt his hardness between her soapy hands. She heard him gasp as she leaned her head against his shoulder, stroking him before turned around, still leaning against him...

Washing Paige's body was truly enjoyable. His hands moved slowly over her, making sure to get all areas of her body perfectly clean. When she moved in closer to him and pressed her perfect breasts to his chest, Michael smiled down at Paige as she leaned her head to him. Her hand moving along his hardness was absolutely incredible.

When Paige turned around, Michael placed his hands on her hips and pulled her back against him. Their wet, soapy bodies slid together perfectly. As Paige pressed back to his, Michael moved his hands to her breasts and began to caress them; rolling her erect nipples through his fingers. His lips moved to her neck where they kissed and lightly bit her flesh while his hardness pressed against her wonderful ass.

With his hardness nestled between the cheeks of her hot ass, Michael moved his hips ever-so-slightly.. just enough to slide his cock through her crack in tiny movements. They relished the touch and feel of each other as the water cascaded down over their bodies. There was nothing rushed; they just enjoyed being close to one another.

Lowering his hands down Paige's body, Michael enjoyed the feel of her flesh on his fingertips. His hands moved over her abs, which were extremely tight from the months of workouts they had done together during Physical Therapy. As he moved his hands lower, Michael's fingers slipped between Paige's legs, just as he adjusted himself, allowing his hardness to slip between her legs and nestle against her silkiness. As he moved his hips slowly, his fingers found her clit and began to rub it lightly. Damn, he loved having her with him.
