House Republicans gave Rep. Bob Ney (R-Ohio) a standing ovation after he told them yesterday that he has no plans to resign and will vigorously fend off a likely federal indictment.

National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Tom Reynolds (R-N.Y.) continued to support his Republican colleague yesterday.
“I’m supporting Bob Ney as he runs for reelection,” Reynolds said. “We will support him like we support all our incumbents. Bob Ney is my candidate running for reelection.”
