As I laid in bed tonight, getting ready to watch the game, I was thinking about something I read earlier...Slushybob said his cock was 8" long and 6" around. Well, 8 is not all that big but 6" around seemed enormous, I believe my exact words when I read it was "double eeks! " So, I ask hubby how big around is 6"? He runs out to garage and cuts a piece of fishing line 6" long...*yes, he got me string so I could have a visual of a 6" around cock..hehee* Anyway, one thing leads to another...yada yada yada...come to find out...the fishing line fit perfectly around MY hubby

So now I'm curious, why did I think 6" was soo enormous when thats exactly what I have what is the average girth? Is there an average girth? Please tell, this inquiring mind needs to know!

I am average in length and circumference (I think the average in a previous thread was found to be statistically about 5.5 to 6 inches, I forget what the average circumference is).

I am watching "The Science of Sex" on TV right now; they stated that longer penises evolved to give the the male and advantage over other males - depositing the sperm further into the vagina than others.

Males also can and do unconciously "tune" the amount and type of sperm depending on how long it has been since they last had instercourse with their mate; the amount can be and is increased to combat the possibility that their mate was unfaithful, thereby overwhelming another male's sperm. The male can also release "attack sperm" whose purpose is to attack foriegn sperm rather than to fertilize the egg.

6" circumference sounds big..... until you divide by 3.14159265392 to get the diameter..... 1.9"

The rule of thumb is that your thumb is approximately 1" wide, so lay your thumbs side by side..... that's close the 1.9" not really that big, now is it?


Another case of using data that gives a false impression, kinda like blowing a graph up so that an increase in scores looks bigger than it actually was.

and since they are true, i'm guessing.... the girth is alote biger then it actualy looks

Well Im getting confused on what everyone is talking about. 9.2in around is beyond massive. Because of this post i had measure out of curiousity and Im about 6.5in Now to give everyone perspective on this. My nickname to some girls is Ouch and some girls can even get thier hand around it.

Whoever had the math skills and divided by pi and figure it out to be about 2in you have to take a second to look at that its pretty big compared to the average guy. Well thats my two cents.

Glad to see my first post is getting some use out of it. I don't know what the average girth of a penis is. That was just what mine measured and I had noticed other posts where men had given their penis size so I did the same.
