Wait, whaaat? I am way too tired to comprehend all of this. I'll take another look in the morning, but this gal gotta sleep. Goddamit, I have something in my eye and it's bugging the shit out of me though. ):<
Yea I'm having a hard time plot thinking right now, so maybe it would be better left for in the morning.
I might have shot myself in the foot a bit though. I mean, I think with enough planning we can make it work, but I'm starting to wonder if I didn't shoehorn things a little too hard.
Heheh, never. You keep doing you, sleep be damned.
Hmm... So I'll think about how we can line this up right. I really don't think that the General would want to release Sabastian-he's a valuable resource if he can be manipulated, and a bad enemy to have if he's free.
So. Here's a pitch for you. *Gets out enormous white board:
Sabastian gets kidnapped and they go on for a little bit without him, Vin being a very sad boi.
Back at the base, Robert and Genevieve arrive there (having intended to go to a base). Of course he's "blind," but he can sense both Quint and Sabastian, recognizing Sabastian. He looks for him, asking around and finally bumps into Tommy. I don't know how, but maybe Tommy knows that Sabastian is being held prisoner, but the General told him that he's dangerous and alien. Knowing Sabastian, he has his doubts, but those doubts are confirmed with Robert. Then it's Tommy, Robert, and allies that break Sabastian and Sayori out and flee. During this, maybe Quint is being punished by being put in isolation at the bottom of a very dark well-type place. They can't find him and have to leave before Kuznet sends reinforcements.
Later, Vin, Cora, and Damien arrive at the base and Vin is convinced that Damien is dangerous. He's manipulated into taking Cora right to him. Kuznet takes her, triumphant in his deceit and has Vin beaten within an inch of his life and dumped.
Damien is super fucking pissed, but puts his anger on hold for Vin, seething at him and basically sulking for the foreseeable future. They need to get help since they can't get Cora out on their own. They take a couple days to find Tommy and friends (finding Sabastian in the process), and then they all go to break Cora out. How do they find them? Well it just so happens that Dave knows where they went and was about to flee as well. Why didn't he just leave with them? He was a bartender and leaving his post earlier would have raised suspicion and doomed their little infiltration.
That way, we don't have any overlap, and Cora gets to have a nice stay with Kuznet before they rescue her.
Well now I've had a nice coffee shot before clock in, I like it!
One thing, is there any way we could get Cora lined up to spend a day or two with Sayori? I kind of wanted Kuznet to taunt Cora about Damien, and Cora be like "no fuck you, he's not evil like you're sorry ass"
I thought Kuznet might put Sayori with Cora to give her a sort of 'playmate', in a sick and twisted way, and give Sayori a reason to talk to her about Damien.
Hmm... How about when they do the raid to grab Sabastian, they have to leave Sayori there too? Maybe she's being punished as well or is actually with Kuznet so they can't approach. Or perhaps Sabastian is unconscious or drugged so they don't know to rescue Sayori in the first place.
When they come for Cora, that's when they rescue Sayori and Quint as well.
Maybe Sabastian will meet Quint too in that scenario since we don't have to worry about him tipping off Cora or her having to leave without him. He'd be able to tell Quint about how Cora was doing... and Kuznet for that matter. Plus he knows a whole lot more about the practical aspects of egg-laying and shit having experienced it first hand. <_< >_>
Sayori will be happy to know that they don't burst out of your stomach or anything. That would make it awkward but a lot less scary.
Ooh I like that idea. I'm wondering if I should pull a kind of slap to the face moment, where maybe during the rescue the building is burning and Cora wants to run in and get Quint but Damien doesn't want to risk it, and she tells him something along the lines of 'dont do this to me again'.
Or do you think that's too harsh? Cause I feel like it's almost too mean, as much as I want to do it >.>
People say mean shit when they're scared and desperate sometimes. I don't think it would be too out there. After all, she probably knows she'd have to say something like that to get him to agree. Even then, he might force her to stay outside while he goes in to get Quint. He'd have a few brownie points from Quint for having saved him for Cora and kept Cora safe.
Oh shit, I just realized that if Damien hadn’t taken her, Sarah would have likely eaten her or Kuznet would have gotten her. I wonder what Kuznet was thinking during those three days.
Yep and sadly the housing market will have far more houses out there for me to purchase when I get around to purchasing one, sad for the previous owner but great for me
