Perfect Timing (Closed for NewGame8)

After kissing Pamela softly, Steven sat back in his chair and listened to the music. Periodically, he would look over at Pamela and see how much she was enjoying being at the jazz club. Although jazz wasn't his go to choice for music, he was happy that he accompanied her tonight. Not only did she look amazing, she looked like she was having fun listening to the music, and that made Steven happy.

The dance floor was empty, which really surprised Steven. He had expected that there would be quite a few couples out there dancing, but he was wrong. Steven felt that Pamela wanted to dance, and in spite of the fact that he had never danced to jazz music before, he decided to give it a shot. Standing up, he moved over in front of Pamela, offered her his hand, and said, "May I have this dance."

After helping her out of her seat, they walked to the dance floor hand in hand. Once there, he spun her lightly around until they were facing one another. After taking her in his arms, they began to dance; moving perfectly to the rhythm of the music.

When the musicians began playing, they sat listening. Pam could feel Steven’s eyes on her every now and then, she could see from the side of her eye that a soft smile come across his lips every time he looked at her. She was happy he agreed to join her, jazz was not for everyone and an acquired taste, but she found it to be relaxing.

Pam got lost in the music and her thoughts of the past week, looking around there were maybe 2 or 3 couples on the dance floor. She was somewhat lost in thought when she saw Steven standing in front of her and holding out his hand to her and smiling, asking if he could have this dance. Taking his hand and standing, “I’d love to dance with you.” They walked hand in hand to the dance floor, as he spun her around they each had a smile the brightened up the whole room. When Steven pulled her into his arms.

Their bodies moved perfectly to the smooth rhythm of the jazz music, they moved so well together as if they’d been doing it for years, he stared at her as if they were the only people in the room. Pam planned on savoring every last moment of this evening, she did not want it to end.

Before they realized it, they had danced non-stop for over an hour. They moved perfectly together. It was as if they had been dance partners for years. When a song ended, Steven looked at Pamela. "How about we get a drink and take a short break? We can come back out here after that." He leaned in and kissed her cheek and whispered to her, "I want your body back in my arms soon."

While holding hands, they walked back over to their table. After guiding Pamela into her seat, and kissing her lips softly, Steven told her he would be right back. Moments later, he returned with two fresh glasses and poured champagne into each of them. Raising his glass to Pamela, "to a wonderful night." They clinked glasses and sipped their champagne.

For the next several songs they sat at the table; listening to the music, watching the dance floor, holding hands atop the table. It was a wonderful evening so far, and all Steven could think of was that it was Pamala that made it so great.

They been dancing for nearly an hour, they moved perfectly together and Pam felt as if they’d been dancing for years with each other. She was ready to sit down for a bit and was relieved when Steven mentioned about taking a break and getting a drink. Pam smiled and nodded at him and took his hand, when he whispered that he wanted her body back in his arms again soon, she kissed him softly and sighed contentedly.

They walked back to the table hand in hand, Pam’s feet were aching and she was happy to sit down when he pulled her chair out. Steven excused himself after placing a soft kiss on her lips, she watched him walk over to the bar thinking of how lucky she was to have met him just a 4 days ago. It felt as if they’d known each other for years. He returned with 2 clean glasses and poured champagne into them. Raising her glass to his, “to a wonderful night and wonderful company.”

They sat and sipped their champagne and talked quietly, still holding hands for the next few songs. It had been an amazing day and the evening was turning out to be an amazing evening as well, there was no other place she’d rather be than here with Steven.

After sitting out several songs, Steven stood up and asked Pamela if she would like to return to the dance floor. He was happy when she took his hand and slid from her seat. They walked together and, as they got to the dance floor, Steven spun Pamela around two times before taking her in his arms, holding her close and kissing her softly before they began moving to the music.

They spent the rest of the evening in each others arms; dancing to the music. Jazz still was not at the top of Steven's music choices, but, as long as he had Pamela in his arms, the music choice did not matter. Before they knew it, the band was playing their last song of the night and they were one of only three couples left on the dance floor.

When the final song ended, Steven looked at Pamela. "What now? I don't want tonight to end. I want to spend every moment of our last night on the cruise together."

They sat and talked quietly for a handful of songs and then Steven stood up and whisked Pam off to the dance floor once again and spun her around several times. The smile on her face showed everything, she felt if she tried to smile any wider her face would crack, she felt so content when he pulled her close to him and kissed her softly. Pam wanted to bottle this moment up and save it forever.

For the remainder of the night he held her in his arms as they moved together on the dance floor, there was no other place she wanted to be than right here in his arms. The lights turned brighter as the band finished up their final song and said good night. Pam was surprised that there were only a few couples out on the dance floor.

"What now? I don't want tonight to end. I want to spend every moment of our last night on the cruise together."
Pam smiled at Steven and thought for a moment, “Why don’t we take one final stroll up on the deck and then head back to the cabin? I would love to spend every last moment of our last night with you.” She took his hand and they made their way up to the deck, it was a clear night and a full sky of stars. Steven held her as they looked at the ocean, she happened to look up and saw a shooting star, pointing up she said, “Make a wish.” She closed her eyes and made a wish, opening her eyes she saw that his were still closed, but opened them soon after.

As they walked along the upper deck, Pamela pointed out a shooting star and told him he should close his eyes and make a wish. He did as he was instructed. He closed his eyes and a million thoughts went through his mind. He finally settled on one and kept his eyes closed as he imagined it. He had a smile on his face thinking about his wish coming true.

When he opened his eyes, he looked down and saw Pamela looking at him. "So, did you make a wish Pamela?" He knew that she did... after all, it was her idea in the first place. He didn't dare ask what she had wished for. Steven knew there was something about not revealing your wish or it wouldn't come true, so, he didn't want to tempt fate.

They started walking again. Steven wrapped his arm around Pamela's waist and held her close to him as they walked. "This trip has been amazing Pamela, and I owe it all to you. Thank you for being such a wonderful companion. I could not imagine a better way to spend the cruise." They continued walking slowly around the deck. It was almost as if they wanted time to stand still. After completing a lap around the deck, Steven turned to Pamela and kissed her deeply as he pressed her against the rail. His arms went around her; holding her close to him as the kiss became passionate... their tongues dancing erotically together.

While Pam waited for Steven to open his eyes, she wondered what he was wishing for but it was none of her business and there’s an unwritten rule where you should never ask what someone wished for, in the event of jinxing the wish not coming true. It would not surprise her that he was thinking the same thing about her wish.

“Indeed I did. I thought long and hard about what I wanted to wish for and it finally came to me.” She stared into his eyes and he into hers for several minutes as they listened to the waves lapping at the side of the ship. It was starting to hit her that this was their last night on the cruise and would be back to routine come tomorrow, she had high hopes that they would still spend time together once arriving home.

As they started walking back towards the cabin, Steven put his arm around her and pulled her close. He began to thank her for opening his eyes and seeing all the beautiful sites and sharing all her favorite places to go. Had it not been for her, he probably would’ve spent most of his time in his cabin. All she could do was smile at him, she was afraid if she spoke her voice would crack, so she put her arms around him and pulled him close, whispering. “Steven I can’t even put into words what this week has meant to be, to say it was amazing would be an understatement.”

Pam did not want this night to end, each of them savoring every moment. They continued walking for a bit until Steven took her in his arms and kissed her passionately, it was filled with passion, longing and desire. Their tongues wrapped around each other in a sensual, erotic dance.

As they kissed passionately, Steven held Pamela's body close to him. His hands caressed her back slowly as he moved his hands lower and lower. Finding her perfect peach, Steven caressed it lovingly. He loved her hot ass and was not afraid yo let Pamela know it. One of those ways was to pay attention to it.

Their desire for one another was incredible. Their tongues dancing together were sending the message that their bodies should be tangled just like their tongues were. Steven could not get enough of Pamela. Their public displays of affection had become more frequent over the last couple days of the cruise, and, frankly, Steven did not care who saw them or where they were. He was just happy to be with Pamela.

Pressing Pamela tighter to the deck rail, Steven teasingly bent her back over the rail. He could sense her panic a little. Breaking the kiss, he smiled at her. "Do you really think I would do anything to harm you Pamela? I was just teasing you. I would love, however, to bend you over the other way and let you look down at the ocean while I held onto you from behind. That, however, might end up getting a little inappropriate in public." He winked and smiled at her. "Maybe we should go somewhere more private." Steven kissed Pamela as he pulled her body back against his.

Pam was completely lost in their kiss, her body felt as if it would melt right there isn his arms. She’d never been so affected by a kiss before as she had become with Steven’s kisses, they made her feel wanted, needed and desired. Their tongues took turns wrapping around each other in a sensual, erotic dance.

Steven had come quite a way about showing public displays of affection since they had met, Pam had never really been a big fan of it either but it had seemed they were getting comfortable with each other and caught up in a moment of passion. Right now, all she cared about was she was with him, exactly where she wanted to be.

Suddenly Pam snapped out of the wonderful feeling she was lost in and felt her heart race, and not in a good way, Steven had bent her back over the rail and it immediately sent a wave of panic through her. There was no reason to believe he would hurt her, but the fear pushed the the immense passion out of the way, killing her mood. “No I don’t think you’d bring any harm to me.” She felt herself get quiet, this was not how she wanted this night to end, she did not want it to end period.

Steven was disappointed with the way that Pamela reacted. Although she said that she knew that he would not do anything to hurt her, Pamela's body language told a completely different story. It was obvious that playing the game with her had killed the mood.

Taking her hand, Steven led Pamela to the elevator and then down to the deck on which their cabins were. They both remained silent. Steven wasn't sure what to say. He didn't think he needed to apologize, because he didn't think he really did anything wrong. He was really surprised by Pamela's reaction. Steven thought she knew him better than that by now even thought they had only known each other a short time.

He walked Pamela to the door of her cabin. Once there, he took both of her hands in his and looked into her eyes. "Thank you for a nice night Pamela. I enjoyed the jazz club and spending time with you. It really was the exclamation point on a great cruise." He gave her a short kiss on the lips. "Will I see you for breakfast before we disembark?"

Pam could sense Steven’s disappointment, her eyes were close to tears, she’d only known Steven for a few days but she knew he’d never put her in danger, she felt comfortable enough to explain to him why she acted the way she did and she hoped he would understand.

He took her hand as they walked down the hallway towards the elevator in silence, she felt her heart sink as they walked back to her cabin. It wasn’t what Steven so much that bothered her, it’s what it triggered, a memory she thought she buried a long time ago. Pam adored Steven not to mention desired him more than she could ever explain. He deserves both an explanation and an apology for the way she reacted.

As they stood in front of her door quietly, he took both of her hands in his and told her how much he enjoyed this evening. After giving her a quick kiss he asked her if he would see her for breakfast in the morning before disembarking the ship. Looking up in his eyes, “You did not deserve that back there, you did nothing wrong. Please come in, I’d like to explain what happened back there.”

Pam motioned for Steven to sit on the bed. “First of all, I need to show you something, you may have noticed this one of the days you rubbed lotion on my back.” Pam unzipped her dress and pointed to a scar on the small of her back and one on the back of her neck, sitting down next to him she blinked back her tears. “Those scars…I was on a hiking trip with my ex, we came to this overlook, the view was spectacular. He thought it would be fun to bend me over the railing to see how long it took me to get scared, I screamed and pleaded for him to stop. I finally got out of his embrace but fell to the side and cut my back on some rocks as well as my neck. Your sense of humor that I’ve come to really enjoy…it just triggered a bad memory. I know you’d never bring me any harm Steven, I’m so sorry I pulled away from you.”

Steven listened to Pamela as she recounted a memory that he obviously had triggered, and not a good memory at that. He looked as she showed him the scars. He had noticed the one on her neck before. Yes, it was somewhat faded, but he had been afraid to ask her about it when he had seen it.

"Pamela, there is nothing that you need to apologize about. You did nothing wrong. It is obvious that I need to temper my joking, because we just don't know each other that well..... yet. I am really sorry that I triggered such a negative memory. Sometimes my teasing gets away from me. I need to know you better than I do to do something that could seem so dangerous."

He leaned in and kissed the small of her back where the one scar was. Then, he stood up and kissed the scar on her neck. After kissing Pamela's scars, Steven kissed Pamela's cheeks, tasting her tears... trying to take them away... trying to have her relax and let her know just how sorry he was for bringing up the memory of such a horrible experience.

Steven sat and listened to her quietly with a sad look in his eyes, when she was done talking, her took her hand in his and just sat in silence for a few minutes. He assured her she did nothing wrong and that they were still getting to know each other and that his teasing gets away from him sometimes. With tears rolling down her cheeks, she smiled at him and said quietly, “I look forward to continuing to know each other better and in time know all your teasing ways.”

Pam sighed contentedly when he leaned in and kissed the small of her back, his soft lips brushing over her one scar and then standing up, gathering her hair to the side and kissed the scar on her neck. Steven pulled her to him and looked down at her, kissing her tears away and held her close to him. She felt so relaxed and content in his embrace.

"Thank you for a wonderful night on top of a great week. I have really enjoyed every moment that I have spent with you." Steven kissed each of Pamela's eyes; tasting her salty tears on his lips. Holding her close, they both remained quiet for a long while; savoring their time together and their closeness. It had been a wonderful cruise. Steven wondered what the future held for them.

Leaning back, he looked into Pamela's mesmerizing eyes. "I wish the cruise wasn't ending already. It seems like it just started." He smiled at her. You made this an incredible vacation. I could never thank you enough for everything." He wanted to spend the night with Pamela. He wanted their last night to be one where they didn't leave each other's company. Steven was concerned, however, about what had happened up on the deck, and how that had ruined the mood that had been established. "Can we meet for breakfast in the morning before we get off the ship?"

Pam felt her heart starting to sink listening to Steven thank her for everything for the past week, his words sounded so final, perhaps an early goodbye. There were no words spoken for what seemed like hours after that, he held her and kissed her tears and they just sat there just enjoying the closeness not wanting this night to end.

After what seemed to be hours, Steven pulled away from her and gazed into her eyes, once again sounding like he was saying goodbye without actually saying it…was she overthinking it? Possibly, but she felt that the mood or energy had shifted after she explained to him why she had acted the way she did. Pam had no idea know what was to happen with them from here on out, but she still had hope he would still want to continue to spend time together and continue to get to know each other better. “Of course, I’ll meet you in the cafe.”

Pamela's response convinced Steven that he had made the right decision by backing off and cooling things for the night. He felt that her response indicated to him that she preferred that their night end and they just meet in the morning for breakfast. Although he was disappointed in her response, he respected her for it. He was not going to push any issues or agenda on Pamela. He had come to respect her and care for her too much to do that.

Steven took Pamela back in his arms and held her close to him. The fingertips on each hand caressed the scars on her lower back and on her neck as he gave her a tender kiss on the lips. Although he had totally expected a different ending to their evening, he respected Pamela for the wonderful woman that she was and he did not want to do anything that could ruin the bond that they had started to develop.

While still caressing her scars, the kiss between them became deeper. The one thing on his mind was that he hoped that Pamela wanted to continue to see him after the cruise was over. They lived close enough together that they could make it work. He hoped she wanted to give it a try. He broke the kiss and looked in her eyes while still caressing the scars. To Steven, his fingers on the scars were an attempt to heal any stress he had caused Pamela with his attempt at a joke. "In the cafe in the morning then Pamela?"

Pam felt torn about her decision but knew it was the right thing to do, she had a feeling it would be a long night. She felt that Steven was disappointed but in the same sense he also understood. In the short time they’ve known each other, she’d come to care about Steven and she looked forward to strengthening the wonderful bond they’ve made.

When he took her back in his arms and held her tightly to him, his hands caressed the spot where the scars on her back were. She had her head laying against his chest and could hear his heartbeat, the way he held her, she felt he was saying that everything is going to be okay and he looked forward to spending more time together once they were home. They just stood there holding each for what seemed like hours, she felt so content right where she was.

He lifted her chin so that she was looking up into his eyes and kissed her softly, the kiss became deeper as Steven continued to caress her scars. Pam could not get the wish she had made earlier that night, she had wished that Steven and her would continue to spend time together once they arrived home, she had no doubts it would work since they lived only a few miles from each other. Pam felt all the worry melt away as Steven’s caresses continued. He broke the kiss and smiled at her confirming meeting for breakfast in the morning, she gave him that smile that he’d seen throughout the week and nodded her head.” It’s a date.” Pam held him close to her, she could feel him relaxing in her embrace.

They stood there holding each other close for several minutes. He continued to run his fingers over her scars as they enjoyed just being close. Then, he kissed her softly. "I like the sound of that... a breakfast date. How about we meet in the cafe at 7:30. I know that it is early, but it will give us a little more time to spend together." He kissed her again before releasing her and heading back to his cabin.

Once Steven was back in his cabin, he decided to pack up his bags so that he didn't have to rush to do it in the morning. He took out the clothes he was going to wear the next day and on the flight home, and laid them on the chair. Then, he proceeded to pack everything away except for his bathroom bag which he would add tomorrow after he finished showering and dressing. When he was finished packing, he climbed into bed.

Steven was up early. He showered and dressed and added the last couple of things to his bag. He had decided he would take his own bag off the ship instead of waiting for it after disembarking. He was in the cafe before 7 am. Yes, he was early, but he wanted to make sure that they had a table. He figured a lot of people would be up early for breakfast this morning, and he was right. He sat at the table waiting for Pamela and watched all of the different people come and go. He saw some people for the first time.. well, it was the first time he took notice.. probably because he had been focused on Pamela all week.

As they stood there embracing each other, Pam felt so content in his arms, his one hand caressing the scars on her back, his other pushing her hair behind her ear. Occasionally kissing the top of her head, before looking down at her and leaning in to kiss her softly, he let his lips linger for a few moments, it told her that he was savoring every moment of their kiss. Pam smiled when he told her he liked the idea of a breakfast date." I do too and yes 7:30 is perfect." Steven kissed her again before saying good night.

After Steven left Pam put the last few items of clothing in her suitcase, she laid her outfit out for tomorrow. She wanted to be comfortable for the flight home, so she chose a Gray cotton romper that accentuated her curves and a pair of comfortable slip on shoes. After putting everything in her suitcase other than what she needed tomorrow, she brushed her teeth and washed her face and climbed into bed, falling asleep almost immediately.

Pam was up around 6am and headed into the shower, she wanted to make sure she had plenty of time to get ready and meet Steven on time. After showering and drying her hair she put it in a low messy bun, leaving some curly tendrils framing her face. When she was finished getting dressed and had brushed her teeth, she put the last few items in her suitcase and did a walk thru to make sure she got everything, Pam had decided to take her own suitcase when it was time to disembark. Before grabbing her bag she pulled out the dolphin anklet that Steven had bought her that first day and wrapped it around her ankle and made her way to the cafe.

Walking into the cafe, she spotted Steven almost immediately sitting at a high top table. She walked up next to him and kissed him on the cheek and smiled. "Good morning, how did you sleep?"

Steven watched as Pamela approached him. She looked amazing, as usual. After she kissed him on the cheek, he gave her a little hug. " I slept okay, I guess; probably because the cruise is coming to an end. Why don't you have a seat, I will get your coffee." After Pamela took her seat, Steven went and got her a cup of coffee, and he got himself a second cup. Returning to the table, he placed Pamela's cup in front of her and sat down next to her.

Looking over at her, he smiled. "You look amazing this morning. You must have slept very well to look so refreshed and so beautiful this morning." He took a sip of his coffee and sat there looking into her eyes. The sun was shining on her, almost like it was a spotlight highlighting her presence. He couldn't believe how lucky he had been to spend the week with Pamela. He was hoping they would spend time together after today.

"What can I get you from the breakfast buffet, My Sun Goddess," using a name he had called her earlier in the week. He stood up and gave her a kiss and then waited for her response.

Steven turned to her and pulled her close to hug her, every time he hugged her, she just wanted to stay in his arms. He told her he slept okay and was probably due to the cruise coming to an end, she nodded in agreement, as she was sad it was the final day aboard. Pam sat down while Steven went up to get her a coffee and a refill for himself. Her eyes widened when he arrived with her coffee, it was much needed this morning. “Thank you, definitely needed this.”

Smiling at Steven when he complimented her outfit, “Why thank you, I have several of these in different colors. Not only are they comfortable but you can also dress it up too.” The sunshine felt good shining in on her as they just talked and stared into each other’s eyes. “Unfortunately the refreshed look I have comes from my daily skincare regimen, I slept so so last night, I never sleep great the night before going home.”

Pam sat there and couldn’t believe how lucky her and Steven had met and spent the week together. This was the best cruise she had ever been on and it was all thanks to him and perfect timing, Pam was hoping her wish would come true and they would continue to spend time together after today.

"What can I get you from the breakfast buffet, My Sun Goddess,"

Pam could feel a smile so big spreading across her face, she thought her face was going to crack. “Hmm, I would love some wheat toast and a veggie omelette with some fresh fruit please.” Leaning across the table she said quietly, “I do love when you call me that.”

"Well, we are just going to have to put ourselves into situations where I have plenty of opportunities to call you that Pamela." He smiled at her and got up from the table. He leaned in and kissed her cheek and then whispered to her. "I would love to see what your wonderful body looked like without tanlines."

Without waiting for her reaction, Steven walked over to get breakfast for Pamela. While he waited for the chef to make Pamela's veggie omelet, Steven took two plates and dipped up some fresh fruit for each of them. When the omelet was ready, he put some toast on Pamela's plate and took the three plates back to the table.

Sitting the omelet and one of the fruit plates in front of Pamela, Steven sat down next to her. "I hope you enjoy the last breakfast of the cruise. I told him to make the best veggie omelet he ever made for you." Steven looked into her eyes. "What a great week this has been. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed our time together. We are going to have to make plans to get together in the very near future. I think a nice dinner date would be a way to see what happens with us once this cruise is over."

Steven picked at the fruit on the plate in front of him as they talked. It was so comfortable being around Pamela. Would their "relationship" continue after the cruise was over? He wasn't sure exactly how Pamela was feeling about that, but he certainly hoped so.

When they were finished breakfast, Steven walked Pamela to her cabin. "So, tell me how this disembarking works. When do we know that it is okay to get off. We are already docked at the pier, so, can we just take our bags and go?"

"Well, we are just going to have to put ourselves into situations where I have plenty of opportunities to call you that Pamela."
“Yes….yes we most certainly do.” She looked at Steven with a beaming smile, almost identical to the one he was giving her. After getting up from the table, he leaned in and kissed her on the cheek and whispered in her ear…something about seeing her body without tan lines. She closed her eyes and felt her body tingle all over, and said loud enough for only them to hear, “Consider it done handsome” and gave him a wink before he walked to the buffet.

Pam hoped that once they returned home, Steven would show her some of his favorite places to be or go, she felt that they had a lot in common. She watched him up at the buffet ordering her food and whatever he chose for himself, he was incredible.

When Steven returned with their food, he mentioned that he asked the chef to make the best veggie omelette ever, she took a bite and moaned softly. “That is delicious, everything is so fresh.” She turned to face him and listened to him talk about how wonderful this week had been and how they should have a dinner date very soon. “Steven, I can’t find words perfect enough to tell you what an amazing week this has been and how much I’ve enjoyed spending time with you. I would absolutely love to have a dinner date with you.” She slid her arms around him and kissed him softly.

They talked quietly as they ate. She couldn’t remember the last time she felt so comfortable around a man, she felt content and incredibly relaxed around him. Pam was hopeful that their “relationship” would continue and grow, she hoped he felt the same.

"So, tell me how this disembarking works. When do we know that it is okay to get off. We are already docked at the pier, so, can we just take our bags and go?"

After breakfast they walked hand in hand back to their cabins, both of them seemed melancholy. “Well, we are docked so we pretty much make sure we have everything, take our bags and disembark. I’ve got my car coming in about 30 minutes to take me to the airport….did you arrange transportation? You’re more than welcome to ride with me, and I’d love your company.”

"You see, that is what a veteran cruiser does; she thinks ahead. I didn't even think about transportation to the airport until you just said it. Before I came on the cruise, I had no idea what I needed to do. While on the cruise, my mind was on you from the time we met. So, I would like to accept your gracious offer."

They walked off the ship together and stood waiting for the car to arrive to take them to the airport. While waiting they continued to make small talk. Once the car arrived, their bags were loaded into the trunk and the two of them slid into the back seat. On the way to the airport, they held hands, but both of them were very quiet. It was obvious that they were both sad that the cruise had come to an end.

Upon arrival at the airport, they discovered they were both flying out of the same terminal on the same airline. The car pulled up in front of the terminal, and the driver got their bags out of the trunk and sat them on the walkway. Steven tipped the driver and thanked him for the great service. They walked into the terminal. "So, tell me Pamela, are we on the same flight." They laughed when they found out that they were.

When Steven went to the counter to check in and to check his bag, he asked the representative if there was any chance that he could switch seats. He was told that the flight was overbooked, so, switching seats was out of the question. He looked at Pamela who was checking in next to him. "I tried to switch seats, but the flight is full."

When it came time to board, they were in different boarding groups. He gave Pamela a hug and kissed her. "I will see you when we land." As he walked down the jetway, he wondered would they continue to see one another once they were home. The cruise had been truly amazing, but would they continue to see one another at home.

Settling into his seat for the flight, Steven hoped they would get together at home. He wanted to, but, he knew that circumstances could dictate what really happened. Work, friendships, family... all of them could ultimately prevent them from continuing to explore a relationship. He hoped they could work through it.
