My wife has hinted at wanting a personal trainer.
Have any of ladies had one? My wife is a massive flirt and I'm certain some of the training would not be involving exercise.
Curious if anyone has personal experience with this.

Well the one I would want is one who works at my PTs. I trust him, he is strong enough to catch me if I fall, he makes me laugh, we can talk about stuff like religion, ect... and a bit more. Most trainers are more worried about their reputations and lisences, if they have to have them, than getting off with clients if that is what you are afraid of.

If I didn't know him, I would choose a female personal trainer who did activities I like to do-hike, climb, swim, ... I do pilates so maybe a trainer who does that, the guy I refer to above does pilates ;)

I have had so much physical therapy and have met many pts and ptas who do personal training on the side that I think in general they are legit, like massage therapists (mine are women).

why don't you do personal training with her? it usually doesn't cost that much more for a couple than one then you would have something more to do together, you could help each other when the trainer was not there.

Can I join you Noor? Need to lose my cushion which isnt good for me :(

i have been a personal trainer for a number of years...always professional....but i have seen trainers screw their married clients many times...try to find someone with a good reputation at a reputable studio or go with a woman trainer!

I have had two different personal trainers over the last several years. Both of them were men. Even though they were both very friendly and loved to flirt, they were also very professional. I could count on knowing they would make me smile while they put me through physical hell. Kinda like the flirting made up for it, lol.

But in the end, the thought of screwing around wasn't a part of their job description. They were employed by a gym, both were very professional, and both valued their jobs.

If you are serious about wanting a trainer, don't skimp on the money and get a true professional...one who will work her hard and have her begging in a way that is NOT at all sexual. ;)
