I'll bet the pharmacuetical companies just wish they had as much power as you believe they have. They already have a lot of power and are trying their best to make sure their profits are protected. I just don't believe they are as powerful and devious as you credit them with.

i wish that were true, but what I know about the Pharma Cartel is only scrtaching the bare tip of the iceberg. I am more affraid of the information that is classified to the public. Its like the government, what we know isn't what we should be afraid of, its what they are hiding from us that we should fear.

You know what, sounds to me like people need to lighten up some. If BT feels that way so be it, even if you think he has been smoking something, he is entitled to his opinion just like each one of us. I for one think it is a possibility but not to the extent that BT thinks.
I do think the HUGE Pharma companies and Gov't s of the world have things they are hiding for their reasons. Do I think it is wrong? Yes. What can we do about it? Nothing unless one of us gets in office and tries to change it. It is unfortunate that they choose to hide things from us, some for the better and some for the worse.....but just the same I do know they (Gov't and others) hold many things in secrecy. I will give you an example, my cousin works for a HUGE military propulsion company that works closely with the Gov't to come up with NEW technologies.......he has not divulged any secrets to me, but merely said this "If you think about the evolution and how the Stealth Bomber/Fighter came to 'public' knowledge within the past years.....the Stealths have been around for 10-15 years....and just imagine what we have currently that is unknown to the general masses." So there are things that are hidden.....some to our benefit and own good, others to the demise and cruelty of oursleves.
