phobias and fears?

same, i absolutly hate them. If they ever cme up on the TV i have to look away and cover my eyes until somone tells me they're gone. They just make my skin crawl, i cannot stand even looking at them. I went to the Jenner Museum once (Jenner is the guy who cured small pox btw ;)) and hat compleatly freaked me out, seeing all the HUGE needles on display.

Also bridges/scaffolding/other structures. Its not the hight, im fine with that, its me not trusting the structure itself, im scared its going to fall. am getting better with this one though, i can just about stand to walk over a bridge/under scaffolding but my breathing goes radip and i have to walk fast and wont stop.

Needles don't worry me. I put cannulas in Sir every 2nd day sometimes, not a problem. I give His insulin injections and can watch while blood is drawn on other people and myself.

I watched the doctor put stitches in my ex husband's hand when he tore it open on a rusty nail. The only time I felt a bit nauseous was when I was getting some local to have an infected thumb lanced. Needles, pah! Show me a spider or a cockroach though and it's a different story!

On the other hand, Sir is a big wuss when it comes to needles. He can't watch, although I'm proud that my needle phobic Master learned to cannulate Himself when His fistula was in a place that was accessible for Him

I'm afraid of the dark, any large bodies of water, blenders, and tornadoes ( which doesn't make sense, considering I live in Southern California).

You know I'm amazed by how many people that work with in my co-op are afraid of clowns.

Hello, you work for a company that has a clown as a mascott.

I am going to post my fear, but with a story. It makes it funnier. Last month, it was nice out so we propped open the doors to our offfice. When I came back from lunch, there was a snake behind my desk. I work in an office and we have a staff of 6 in the office and 6 men in the field. Not one would touch it! It got "lost" in all the hub bub and we think slithered down the vent and was inside the office for two days. On the morning of the third day, While having my coffee, the snake was in the middle of the office. I grabbed it and threw it out of the office. Am I afraid of snakes, Hell yes. It was a lot better than the two days of keeping my feet up.

P. S. I am afraid of the dark. I sleep with two nightlights.

Hopefully this won't last, but right now I've got an unnatural fear of the phone. I am frightened whenever it rings, have to say a prayer and take deep breath before I answer, heart pounding etc.

It's kind of isolating when you hope your phone won't ever ring.

I am afraid of heights. Seriously! I can do roller-coasters, I fly a LOT for work, but put me in a ski lift and I will lose it!

1. Needles
2. My blood
3. Anything fastened around my neck. However, I do like being choked. Explain that one.

I thought I was the only one who did this. Good to know that I'm not.

I'm very phobic about daddy-long-legs. not the US leggey spider type the UK crane fly type.

and it's all that shithead david Jepson's fault.

No, like... lotus boob. I saw it and it was like looking at a mutilated corpse to my head.

Cybernetephobia: fear of driving, whether they be driving horses or driving cars.
