Photography: Post your photos here

If it isn't political or mindless fun, seems few are interested. I'm guilty of partaking in the mindless fun threads as well. But I do like depth. Actual conversation.

so it seems.
And, I have been guilty of lurking in photo threads without commentary.
Of course, I also take issue with "commentary" that is simply an exclamation ("wow!") and a repost of the image.

hmmm...

what to do? what to do?
(mostly, I'll just whine and complain — grumble grumble) :D

Whoops! clogging up/derailing a perfectly good thread on PHOTOGRAPHY!

At least we have a conversation going :p but you and I have never had a problem with discourse

as for photos (I probably have said this before...somewhere)
I rarely take photos as finished work, as you can and do, tolyk.
I take them as memories, as reference. So, only do minimal framing, or exposure work...

for instance:

taken as part of a series, as reference for illustrations, where I will make the adjustments.:)

I'd like to get some of that back...
ebbs and flows
waxes and wanes

not sure how to help facilitate that.

Me either.. I try to start more involved threads and they just flop. Nothing comes of it at all.

I've recently had more time on my hands and checked back into Lit to enjoy a little down time. I just wanted to say that "the difference" was very noticeable to me too. I wondered about that, and it seems to me that when I first started with Lit there were not so many other options. Now, I have come to think most of this kind of interaction is happening at so many other formats that folks are just spread around more. Hope Lit can stay afloat as I really believe it is pretty unique.

Sorry, I've been one of the lurkers....so I'll say; Lovely photography. If I muster the courage perhaps I'll contribute.

Please do, and thanks for contributing to the conversation :)

Not every photo needs to be perfect to be shared Throbbs :) I appreciate posting the reference photo. I have thousands of those, that maybe, some day, I'll pick up a paint brush and use them... I take them as a just in case :p
