(don't worry, it's me)
Frankie the pirate picked up the slumped body. A nice hostage. This would be easier than he thought. The body was heavy as he threw it overboard. He took his time climbing down to the dingy.
He grabbed the body, and slipped it into the boat. It was in the water, the back of the head dodging up and down. Frankie hoped the poor sap was still alive, they always needed new people to wash the deck.
It certainly did come in handy on those long trips when food ran low too.
Frankie made it to his own ship, and plopped the unconscious man down. He was still breathing, although barely. His chest heaved up and down very little. Blood seemed to be all over his shirt as well as covering his pants. It didn't look like he was going to make it.
Frankie jumped back in the boat, paddling to the fight. More prisoners would be needed, along with that they came for.
Frankie grabbed his sword and shouted loudly. He could tell the people at the other side of the ship weren't doing as well as him. He went to insvestigate.
There in the middle of a fight was a woman. Frankie scoffed, first they had weak men fight and now women? This would definately be easier than he thought.
He ran at the lass, his sword straight ahead. He intended to fight until she dropped her own sword. Then he would bring her back to the ship. She was a fine looking woman, he might even have his way with her too.
The thought broke from his mind though. As he ran towards the woman, a long blade ran up his stomache. He looked at it in surprise more than pain. The sword had passed cleanly through him, and out the other side. He had never felt this before.
She took out the sword, and kept on fighting. Frankie dropped to his knees, still holding the wound. He could feel his heart beating faster, and blood poured from the wound.
It looked like he wouldn't feel this ever again. He died before his body hit the deck boards.
