Pity The Children

Ridiculous laws. Yes, there are ridiculous laws, that is there are ridiculous laws until the fuzz wants to arrest someone, then the ridiculous laws provide legal cover until the arrestee can get a lawyer.

The question you are begging is "Why are there ridiculous laws?" The answer is that someone with poitical power got a law passed and then the fuzz, at the direction of those with even more political power, ignore the ridiculous law. That is, the fuzz ignore the ridiculous laws until it is to the advantage of the fuzz to enforce the ridiculous laws.

There would have been a reason for some ridiculous laws at the time, but they are now outdated. The one you cited earlier was probably passed when motor vehicles were rare, and the legislators feared they might scare animals, especially horses. So they passed the law requiring a warning that something scary was approaching and people should take steps to keep their dogs or horses under control.

That one would probably never be enforced, but there are other laws, equally silly, that would be enforced when the cops want to hold somebody for investigation of some other possible, more serious, serious offense. Or, they might do it to hassle somebody they dislike.

Yes, of course. Also. such laws are patently unconstitutional.

That last was my problem. The fuzz like to keep nonsense laws on the books to use as a weapon against those they want to harrass. I say was, because I now do work for one of the people who run my local area. If I get arrested for tying my alligator to a fire hydrant, there will be at least one less fuzz working in the area by the next day. [This last is especially true, since I don't have an alligator.]

What I said was that the fuzz monitor probation. There are any number of different kinds of fuzz. Some of them wear badges, some do not. IMNTHO, they are all fuzz. I don't like fuzz at all.

I probably have about as much respect for the justice system as you do, but "police" and "probation" are so far apart as to be apples and oranges.

Probation officers have zip to do with the police, and once the case is heard in court, the police are through with it, and on to other things.

You want to be mad this guy was out? Cool. I think it sucks too, but at least have the sense to place blame where it belongs. I hate cops, think that most are corrupt (at least here), but even I can't make the cognitive leap required to blame this fuck up on them.

With your absolute hatred of the Police I imagine you are dancing in the street this evening.

I read your post about the Broward County fuzz who was shot and killed and I presume that is what you are talking about.

First of all, I don't like amateurs trying to do a professional job. Some ass hole(s) got caught in a video surveillance camera after doing a sloppy amateur job.

Secondly, from the general description of the incident, it would appear that the guy who got shot was a clerk. He failed to use even elementary precautions while approaching a known stolen [car and/or license plate.] I don't like amateurs trying to do a professional job.

Thirdly, I am with Cloudy on this one. Yes, the ass hole(s) who shot down the guy should be apprehended, but apprehended in the course of normal fuzz work. [Yes, I know that last is an oxymoron.] The idea that the death of a fuzz is more important than the life of the people they are hired to protect is ludicrous.

R. Richard,

I am at this time shaking my head in awe at your comments. Your hatred is incredible. It blinds you and it makes me wonder just how many other groups of people you hate.

To be honest I hope I fall into the catagory of those you hate. Those with honor and integrity. (Yes I say this with a straight face. I undertsand that some Police are corrupt, just as I know that many of them are honest and hard working. I have seen officers turn in one of their own because they thought their actions were questionable.)

The reasoning behind the Police pulling out all the stops to find the killers is understandable, if you were to think about it without hatred in your heart. It is the same as Firefighters going back into an unsafe building to rescue one of their own even though they know it is unsafe to do so.

When I was in school, I was never able to pass English. I was told, by my teachers that I would never pass English unless and until I decided to make English my major. I was forced into said English classes at the point of a fuzz gun.

I asked the people involved, "Do you want a war?"

They said, "If it takes a war to get you to switch from math to English, yes, we want a war."

They have their war.

Now it would appear that any number of people are distressed at the war.

[By the way I was the first National Merit Scholarship finalist that the school had ever had and they were not going to waste that kind of talent on just earning a living.]

If the fuzz [and others] no longer want a war, why don't you have then come to me and negotiate peace? [Have them bring lots of tight, willing young pussy.]

By the way, I don't hate Literotica people unless they fall into one of three categories:
1) Pedophile, I hate pedophiles;
2) People who try to force me into a high school English class;
3) Those my employers pay me to hate.

First: I don't believe you couldn't pass high school English. Anybody who goes to class regularly and is able to read and write will pass high school English.

Second: I don't believe the school administration would try to force you to major in English, if you have no aptitude for it, and leave your math classes if you are an outstanding student there.

Third: I very much don't believe that the cops actually came to the school and forced you, at gun-point to attend English classes. Conceivably, they may have come to the school and arrested you for creating a disturbance, or some such thing, and that may have even been at gunpoint.

Fourth: I don't believe you are currently a high school student, meaning the "war" you refer to has ended, probably at a standoff.

Having said that, Cat, I hope you don't aspire to be a politician, since that is another group of persons that R Richard hates, although he didn't mention them in his subsequent post. I don't blame him; I consider politicians to be nothing but blood-sucking leeches also. I know that's a redundant expression, but I want to place an emphasis.

I am quite sure you do not aspire to be a pedophile, so I will say nothing more about that group.

Personally, having had many negative experiences and no positive ones with them, I tend to dislike the cops, although it would be going to far to say I hate them, except for the ones in Oakland, CA. I consider them a necessary evil, and want nothing to do with them.

The cops do tend to watch out for their own, some in honorable ways, such as trying very hard to find the killer in Broward County, and some in dishonorable ways, such as covering up for the many dishonest or abusive or inept ones. You may have seen one cop turn in another one for good cause, but that was only after many other cops had winked at those offenses, and covered up for the offender. As an example, you may remember the asshole of a cop who anally raped a suspect with a wooden handle. Eventually, one guy turned him in, but dozens more ignored this unconscionable act.

Although the majority of cops are probably perfectly decent, there are too many assholes for them to be called exceptions.

I didn't go to high school regularly. In fact I mainly went when the fuzz had on a full court press. When I was not going to school, I 'borrowed' books from the library [at night and with no library card; I always returned them and the librarians even left me reading lists.] In the school I attended, reading and writing were not all that common. However, reading and writing had little to do with getting good grades in English. What was required to get good grades in English was to be able to knowlegably discuss such things as the probably toilet training [yes damn it, I said toilet training] of centuries dead authors. It was a time of insanity and I was coldly, horribly sane. [Incidently, about the time I graduated, it had become common knowledge in the are that even the students who graduated from my high school English classes and tried to go to college were unable to pass college English and/or the tests they use to determine English ability. Those students were forced to take what was called 'bonehead English.' The situation was so bad that the school I went to was a laughing stock. Thus, they stopped discussing toilet training and went to rote memorization of 'correct English,' so that the graduates could enter/pass college English.

The high school I went to was run by four old biddy English teachers who knew where all the bodies were buried. The school administration kept records, collected the average daily attendence money and kept their noses out of the running of the English Department. Said administration also pretty much kept their noses out of my affairs after I went hand-to-hand with the Dean of Boys.

There was almost certainly no way they would have treated an average student the way I was treated. However, in an area where Ebonics was the 'standard language,' they apparently could not resist the temptation to create a new Willie Shakespeare, since they had the raw material [Whi' Boy.] [By the way I came within at least 25 points of a perfect score in the SAT. The school would not release SAT scores, not even to the student who achieved the SAT score. I found out my SAT ranking only after I passed succesive milestones in the National Merit Scholarship thing.]

The administration, at least after the incident with the Dean of Boys, did not attempt to do their jobs, a common failing in the public schools. Instead, the administration went to the LA fuzz and had a few words with the doughnut munchers. One of the fuzz, a boy I often dealt with, came and talked to me. He indicated that I either attended school, or the fuzz would roust me from my dwelling [an abandoned factory building] and make it impossible for me to continue to acquire the ingredients for my supper by shoplifting. The boy who talked to me did not actually point a gun at me [he was not suicidal,] but he did indicate that all of his people were armed and even Whi' Boy could not prevail against the entire fuzz mob. [My work with a .357 magnum was legend in the South Central.]

Fourth: I don't believe you are currently a high school student, meaning the "war" you refer to has ended, probably at a standoff..[/quote]
After I graduated, I may have inadvertantly pissed off a fuzz. I just politely remarked that he looked like he was doing well enough to buy doughnuts by the dozen and he must be successfully pimping for his mother. For no reason, he attacked me. [Under the law, it is not possible to disturb the peace of a fuzz.] I managed, somehow, to defend myself. However, the fuzz managed to get to the ground before I could finish him. There were too many witnesses and his partner would probably have been killed if he just shot me down. I walked. From time to time, the fuzz have restarted the war. I would not characterize the situation as a standoff, although I have been forced to relocate from time to time.

I still have no use at all for fuzz or high school English teachers.

yes, R.Richard, we all know how big and bad and evil and white you are. You've told us, over and over and over and over.

as a side note, the only people that have ever felt the need to impress upon others how big and bad they are, are those that aren't.
