The best news possible!!! Emmy has just messaged me and asked me to post her results. The Cancer has not spread. 2 of the 17 Lymph nodes were cancerous, and of course her entire left breast, especially in her nipple. They have told her she is between a stage 1 and stage 2 and they will be sending the lab results off to another Lab for further testing, but at this point, in 3 weeks she will have more testing done, and they will decide if she will need Chemo or Radiation. 1. ] p3716

I should also explain since several have asked. Her "after" shots. People are confused because they thought she wasn't getting both removed, and or that she wouldn't be able to do a reconstruction right away.

First. What you see in her pics is partially swelling, and partially what is called an extender. Our lovely Emmy is so skinny that they couldn't use skin from other parts of her body to do a reconstruction right away. So once she finds out if she will need chemo or not, they can decide when they will slowly start stretching the skin to give them room to eventually put the implants in. If she doesn't need Chemo/radiation, they can start fairly soon. If she does, then it'll have to wait until all the cancer is out of her body.

Second, she had both removed for the safety of it. They knew of cancer for sure in her left breast, but many choose to have both removed at once so if they hear cancer has spread, they don't have to go back in for a second surgery. Morning sweets. Yeahhh I slept through the night... From 10.30 till 7. No meds nothing.. I feel good. Kids are still sleeping, but knowing there upstairs makes me so happy. So I have gotten pictures today of the kids doing some cooking (and holy cow is Emmys daughter a mini version of her!!) and now they are decorating for Easter. It's so cute, she has an easter tree! SassySheDevil...Well Sadly Emmy didn't get great news. She is going to have to do both a round of Chemo and Radiation. So new boobie rebuilding has to wait a little bit longer. She is pretty upset today, but I told her that it just means she has to wait a little longer. She has already come this far like a champ, she will get through the rest like a champ! She said she is sure she will be back to her silly self by tomorrow and I told her if not, I would have to send her silly pictures again and it wouldn't be pretty since I Have my hair in braids like a little kid. She said her husband is putting her hair in a ponytail. He's so sweet.

I am a very afraid old borg today. I have been having pain in my foot for some time now. Was in shower look down at baby toe.. its black and blue so after drying it checking it skin come off between toes. it looks very bad. Got nurse to wrap it and seeing doc at 1pm.

Dear Sweet Mara, what a lovely Smile you bring

I will need all the support and energy I can get for sometime. My GI has stopped work. So getting everything via IV TPN(IV FOOD). No water..no food thru mouth also nothing in my J-tube. Because of that many problems are coming up.. like bones breaking... more infections.. problems with way other organs work in my body. My body is shutting down.

First time this happen I lost 150 lbs.. when in coma.. liver and kidney start to fail. So yes I very afraid, my heart stopped 3 times back when. I'm not sure if I am strong enough to put up the fight like I did back when. It was hardest 19 month of my life. Doctors are going over records from that time to see what it was to get things started again. And what worked the best to treat problems faster.

It has happen to be 3 other times ...first time it was 19 month the next two little over 4 months to get better. So I hope it will be short and I will be strong enough to make it thru.
