Please Pay Attention To The Photo Guidelines

Why not just remove the ampics section, seems it would clear up a lot of the trouble concerning the rules about copyrights and whatever

If you took the post in it's entirety, you would have seen me being facetious about the attitudes of the religous right. They have no problem with the slaughter of "unbeleivers", think that AIDS is Gods will and retribution for Gays, but go ape-shit over the images of people engaged in consensual sexual activity.

Open your eyes and don't take things out of context, please. Maybe my sense of dark humor confused things. I'm not a bigot in any form.

Thanks Etoile. I kind of got that after reading ~Q~'s post. I would have edited it to save it, given the key to remove other's posts as well as some of my own. I just hated losing the whole thing. Not the end of civilization as we know it....just it could have been done differently. Water under the bridge.

sorry,i don't agree.Many people there are posting according to the rules,and it wouldn't be fair to them.Close an entire thread for a few bad apples?What's next?

Yes, there are plenty of places to get pics of tits and ass, why risk Lit by posting images your not meant to? Getting rid of that section obviously deals with any issues.

I don't think the concern with AmPics is copyright; that section is full of pictures submitted by the individual in them, and therefore copyright isn't the issue. The 2257 stuff is an issue.

the fact that you would get pissed off because of a post or deletion of post in here shows that maybe you need to take a break from this place and not be so invested in an erotic website and take things so personally and add meaning to frivilous and trivial issues involving entertainment.... especially when you totally have the option to not be a part of this place.........

to be oprossed in a place where you are totally free to come and go is your fault and not someone elses....

Ah, the age-old argument of "it's just a website, you need to get a life!" While that may be good advice for your own situation, the fact is that it is up to the individual what they choose to spend their time on.

You are correct.... However, it seems masochistic and sad for someone to spend their time on a place that makes them upset.... especially a place that's geared towards entertainment...

you would have to agree with me that letting a place like this get to you personally isn't healthy......

No, I don't agree. Some people like to use online fora as a venue to vent frustration they are unable to vent in their personal lives for various reasons. I would say it's better to get into an online shouting match than to beat your spouse.

He's getting pissed of BECAUSE of this place.. not ordinary events that happen while he's sitting at home waiting for something to happen..... THIS is the genesis of his frustration and anger......

The simple fact is that the entire concept of the thread came from a discussion between ~Q~ and I about ways to increase traffic on the board. It's where Pookie and I started from. There were many images, not displaying a copyright, of erotic art and photography that were sensual but not pornographic. That and some decent discussion about sexual orientation were what I wanted to save.
I certainly didn't need or use the thread for jack-off material.

Heh, I spend more time here checking up with friends, who I know one way or the other in R/L than any porn. Unable to talk real-time, we message here. One of those who see this as more than a porn site. Some people are just so one dimensional, they'll never understand.

Now, on the one hand yes it is "just" a website, but this is also a symptom of a larger problem.

i don't agree with that.The whole point of AM pics is completetly different.
Also,if you do some research,the copyright issues are coming about pics posted here and in the playground section,absolutely NOTHING to do with the AM thread,where there's no need to post copyrighted pics at all,unless you wanna do some spamming for a porn website.Check this out,before promoting the idea of cutting off an arm when the pinky is hurting :rolleyes:

Let's play devil advocate and say,since there's too much violence in the media,that problem will be solved eliminating programs like wrestling.Would you agree with that form of thinking?

Besides,you have a legal right or written permission to use Batista's image?THAT could cause problems to Lit also.
