do you really believe all the propaganda thats shoved down your throats in America? I don't believe for a second that soldiers in the Us military actually do this because they want to defend their countries liberty, and if they did, they're being fooled. While I respect the fallen of such wars like WW2, where there was a threat to Americas existence, I think its been proven that America has no business in Afghanistan and Iraq. Those countries pose no threat to Americas security, and the soldiers are there because thats their job and they've been ordered to.

Its a job, and they took that job because they couldn't get a better one. Jesus truly weeps for those who die in Afghanistan because they died probably for no good cause at all. Its a joke to think that these soldiers think. They don't. They're trained to act like puppets of whatever the strategists tell them to do. They don't question what they're doing. Do they know what pain their causing to families when they go and rocket attack a village?

I've got a friend in Afghanistan who's a ranger, and he told me about some fire fights. He didn't join the military to defend your freedom he went because its a job with lifelong benefits. Also, he likes playing with guns and heavy weaponry. Back home in the states you rarely hear about all the disgusting stuff these young men and women get up to while abroad, and a lot is covered up. Occasionally videos surface of troops mowing down wedding parties, and civilians. And its quite right to expect the Afghans to fight back with what little they have, improvised road side bombs and so forth. These are people are defending their homes and villages against aggressive young men from a foreign land. We're their to rearrange the countries economy to our benefit. Why else would we go?

God says that killing is a sin. These soldiers are not defending America's security. They are waging economic war. Militaries are an evil thing in general and where they tread, evil is bound to follow.

Your soldier in the dirt is telling me, he wishes he'd never signed up with the military and never been killed because he could still be alive and doing something useful in the world. Good God, what a repugnant death worship cult Americans have!!

I would argue that those that believe today's soldiers, in any war, provide or secure our freedom could use a lesson in history, not Jesus. Jesus is just as irrelevant in the argument of protecting liberties through war as protecting liberties is as an argument for war. That is the irony. I do believe that some soldiers believe they are fighting for our freedom, just as I believe that people that push religion believe they are fighting for our souls. Now do I believe these individuals are fighting for my freedom, or my soul? It doesn't matter. They believe they are and that is within their right. It is not my place to try to change their mind. The plan and simple truth.. every person in every circumstance has the right to believe what they want. What is entertaining, and the point of my post, is watching someone who has a different belief, but the exact same approach of using an irrelevant circumstance as a platform, call another person out for doing the exact same thing. I am not pointing fingers, because to be honest, I don't give shit what you believe, I am pointing out the irony of it all.

And liberates a soldier to disagree with his superiors if he believes he is being ordered to commit unethical action.

It's not their training to kill which is the problem, cause they undergo the same training, whether they're at war or not, but don't face the same issues if they've not been at war. As for obeying commands... Feel free to disagree with that, but, for what it's worth, traditional warfare (actually, it doesn't matter if it is traditional or not) requires that the chain of command maintain its integrity. If every subordinate questions your decision (however righteous they might think they are) then you cannot go to war, whether it's a "just" war (which, in light of Jesus' utterance "turn the other cheek" does not exist) or not. If everyone acts the way they please, then that side will lose the war, regardless of how many prayers to god they throw up.

Its been well documented how the American military studied the 'kill' rate in wars and tried to up that rate amongst its troops by studying the techniques of psychologists like Skinner. This is well known, and the scary thing is, it works! These days, soldiers will unleash fire on a village, a wedding party, a school, anything if they're ordered to. Because they blindly obey.

Amazing that even when the world discovered that the whole rational for the Iraq war was based on a false premise, the instigators were not taken to task. Amazing that there weren't more conscientious objectors. And the real reason? Because people care more about their ass, than whether they're actually protecting or defending anybody. We ran through the living room and into the kitchen and to my utter horror my fucking dog has scarfed down the Virgin Mary. There he was looking up at me wagging his tail with icing all over his face not know that he just committed the ultimate sin. He went down on the Virgin Mary and ate her out.

If you could I would appreciate it if you and your artistic buddies could scribble me out a sign that states:

GOD HATES DOGS named MAC.

Damn dog cost me the thousands I could have made on endorsements and the millions I could have made selling my divine toaster strudel.
