Okay, character:

Name: Zarl
Race: Macrai-Itoche
Sex: Male
Age: 23
Hair: Blue
Eyes: Violet with golden specks throughout.

The Macrai-Itoche Species: The Macrai-Itoche, or, as they were reffered to by the humans, the Macite, were a powerful race of monsters. At one time, they had had the best relations with the human species (Owing to their remarkable ability to hold out on raping a peasant girl until no one was around to find out), (although most business was handled by the females, but once the males learned their were women, whoo-boy!). Unfortunately, the Macrai-Itoche find it hard to reproduce amongst themselves, owing to the fact that Macrai-Itoche females as damn near the ugliest women on the planet. So hideous are they, that they actually have to rape the MALES of their species!

And, sadly, the one-time tradition of undergoing such a rape to prove you courage was dropped as the all too sensual human females were discovered. Sadly, the race has all but died off, and Zarl isn't that worried about continuing it. Instead, he, like the others of his species, are carefully avoiding the females Macrai-Itoche and hunting tasty young humans, as any males caught, would undoubtably be used to continue the species. (Why anyone would want that is still under question.)

Zarl, Himself: Zarl was borne to a caring mother, and she raised him well (Until puberty, when, realizing how hideous his mother was, he fled in disgust). His father didn't know he existed, and had repressed all memories of Zarl's mother. Yes, it's that bad.

Zarl's Abilities: Like most Macrai-Itoche, Zarl is strong in Fighter's Trance, and specializes in the sword. He has a weak elemental strength, mostly focused into the power of lightning. (His strongest spell, at the most, is the 'Taser Blade', called 'TaserBlade-Omnihusiro!' which, using the metal of his sword as a conducter, releases just enough electricity to sting like a bitch. Well, he's still low-level.) There are rumors of the powerful 'Lightning Blast Sword of Death and Chick-Amazement', the most powerful spell in the area of sword lightning-combinations to be weilded by his species, but he's more worried about scoring with some maidens.

Zarl's Appearance: His skin is a bright green, naturally, although it hold the inate ability to change colors (with a lot of thought). But it's usually normal human flesh tones (as chicks don't dig the green look). He wears plains black pants and heavy adventurer boots. His weilds a Copper Katana (for it's conductability, and because it's a cheap sword), which he normally keeps shethed at his side. This is because a large pair of black batlike wings grows from his back. (These are always black, and again, people still question why). Zarl is athletic, liking to impress the ladies, and of course he tries not to wear a shirt (because it's manly, and few shirts fit the wingspan, especially with the males of his species scattered to the winds). He also wears a bandana, again, for the manly factor. Although it really ties in the look.


WHoo,....that was a long one. Sorry. But I just had to pull in a monster species. Especially when it could be this fun.

Oh, nobody has to play the badguys... unless you want to be an evil monster king or something and have your minions hunt down the party. ^_^ The "beasts" are also heroes, just nonhuman ones. You can be a monster but have adjusted slightly to humanoid society. Or you can be a badguy if you want. I figured the people would play the monsters they encountered as well, though I could do GMing if the situation required it. ^_^

Fighting Style(s) (Up to 4 max please): Hotaru isn't really a fighter, she prefers to stay on the sidelines because she is a healer. She is truly a defensive warrior. She isn't physically strong but yet she is very nimble and in her senshi form she is very good and defending herself.


She can handle her glaive very well however, and can use it in swords fighting.. though she will often have the advantage because it is so big....





Personality:Hotaru is sweet and a little shy. She has a strong will, which she uses to keep herself in control of her conflicted body. Hotaru is a solitary girl...but not so much by choice. She would love to have friends, but the other children think she is weird because of her ability to heal, and stay away from her.

Yeah, you'll have to make her 18. I'd really love you to play, though.

I'm worried, though -- A) because I'd rather have you make up your own character, even if she's BASED on Sailor Saturn, and B) because she's a bit powerful. With a Resurrection spell... that's really strong... and a hyper move already? I really would like characters to start out inexperienced.

And I don't think the Sailor Scouts exist in this world. I'm trying to keep it fairly original. ^_^ No offense meant to you or anything, of course! I'd love for you to play, but if you could just modify her a little...

A warrior/healer... nice! You can have her have some special attacks with her glaive (a la the Fighter's Trance, as I'm calling it), just please nothing as powerful as her hyper move.

Feel free to post anytime you like on the main thread. I'd recommend appearing in the town... the scene in the forest will soon be over, since NyghtRayne and I have something planned.

Also, if you haven't, please read some of my posts in the beginning just to make sure you know what the world is like.

Although she spend a lot of time stufying she was still a klutz, often ending up miscasting a spell or summoning the wrong type of creature. If she did missummon a creature, she would often have no control and be forced to watch the spell run the course till it was over. She left the temple to go and find her way in the world and hopeful someone to help her.

Magic: Her specialty is that of fire magic and summoning creatures. She can also change into a gold dragon, but she can't always hide her tail when she reverts back to human.

Personality: She is a little on the ditzy side, not always catching on to everything around her. She is very friendly and warm, though easily scared.

Did you mean to say Dragoon or Dragon?

Also... it sounds like you're not exactly playing someone who could really be a member of a party. That sounds like a bit of a god-like character, in which case, you probably wouldn't fit in as an adventurer, because you'd have no reason to join... and anyway, that's a really immense power level for the game so far. ^_^

Unless you want to play as somebody like that (though unless you're solely interested in adding to how the world works, I dunno how fun it would be), you should probably make a character who's a lot, LOT weaker.

Looks: lets say, squirrel like brown hair thick and long off his head, say, mid back length. and since he's from the north, and animalish, hairy arms legs and pretty well everything.... meh, you think it up.

Bio: Dreant Firebane grew up in the northern part of... our land. he lived in a rocky mountainous region. you know those old gross-'em-out nightime campfrire stories about big beasts and young maidens? yeah well. it happens okay? and for some reason some larger than normal huge squirrel like creature came and made off with a couple of the vilage to the far souths girls. when they came back, you know how it happens, no one is going to accept them. especially after they take on a few traits of tree dweelers, and of, well pregnant girls. so sad thing, they got kicked out, and ran to the north. few generations later, it was hard, but a village is born up there, far too cold for those bastard furry squirrels! but you know, since it;s so cold, everyones got a little bit of squirrel in them, their kind of hairy, and have these weird thin membranes running along their arms, and connecting to their sides. strong though.

living up there they met other animals, like bears. and sonce bears were so much different than those furry assholes, the polar bear was like a god. and after weird rituals, and strange happenings... (something we're not so proud of AGAIN) some people take on bearish traits. now, us bastards of society are looked on as weird, and sometimes attacked as monsters ourselves, but don't judge us! anyway.... i'm here to go kill that god damned squirrel.... and maybe find a way to re-enter society.

Powers: has an extreemly limited fighters trance, when adrenneline gets through the system, his forarms become heavy, and coarse with white hair, and grow claws.

this weird membrane has the ability, like some fpo those jumping squirels, although, only momentarily. it's more like a slow fall.

worrshiping the gods of the north gives him an understanding of cold atributes, freezing, ice, water, that kind of thing. none of which he grasps too well though.


hows that sound Jacobo? or, and he's kind of anti-social, for obvious reasons. damn raping squirrels.

uh.... giant squirrel raped those poor girls a long time ago. long enough for a village to be made out of two pregnant girls and a couple of... i donno lovestruck guys? who knows. so it's a long timelater, but since these demons are magical creatures, who knows? maybe they don't die of age? or maybe there';s a couple others running around?

Nice, Sky Jade. I like it. Reminds me of a certain Slayers character.

Hmm, let's see. Limited shapeshifting ability, limited summoning ability, and fire-based magic. Okay, so you probably don't work like the normal mages in this system. Maybe you're the chosen of a Gold Dragon or something, without really knowing it? So you can change into that form without actually being a full-shapeshifter, and be gifted with fire magic abilities and some summoning capabilities?

What kinds of things can you summon?

See, my idea was totem-style, with sort of like FFX in the way that you have to pray at the shrine, but also since there are so many different animal/monster totems, that you'd have to kind of match with their personality (like Logan matches with the unicorn) for them to like you enough to aid you.

So if your summoning ability isn't going to be widespread like that (where you can summon as many totems that are your alignment), how is it gonna be? Another gift from the Gold Dragon?

Or maybe you might just want to go with fire magic, some air magic maybe, and shapeshifting ability (which is still strong... and probably at this point you can only change into a small dragon, cuz we don't want you to be TOO strong). ^_^

I'm not trying to be nitpicky or anything, hun -- I love the idea of yuor character. She sounds really cute, and I'd love for you to join us. I just want to make sure we have everything straightened out before we start.
