Beyond The Veil (closed for fellatrixlestrange)

Night finally came, and Esperanza for once found it relatively easy to fall asleep. The tone of her unhappiness was different, though she couldn't say if it was for the better or worse. It seemed to hurt less. She didn't feel like she was a broken pencil away from tears at any given moment, which was nice, but the nothing that had come in place of that raw misery was so... nothing. It was like her soul was going numb.

Somewhere she'd read that when a person is in the final stages of freezing to death, they feel very comfortable and tired. It felt a little like she imagined that would feel. She knew she wasn't freezing, literally, but the cessation of a deep pain and replacement by no feeling at all seemed less like she was getting better and more like she was slipping into something worse.

There had been that dream, though. That thing had said it could help.

It was just a dream, but on some strange level, she believed it. It could help. So she got ready for bed, put on her sleep tee, and went to sleep. And almost immediately, she felt herself in that empty darkness.

"Hello?" she said, and her voice sounded so small compared to what she remembered.

“Hello Esperanza.”

The unnatural voice replied, sounding from all around her as if space itself resonated to form it. Looking up, she saw the entity appear again – its massive body softly swaying in an untouchable breeze while it drifted closer on a wave of broken perspective and violated causality.

“I’ve been watching you.”

The light grew stronger, slowly shifting into the familiar haze from the previous vision. Omphalos settled in front of Esperanza, with the same position as the night before, and twitched one of its feelers close to her face again.

“I know your pain.”

The feeler cradled her cheek with a silken touch, and the entity’s warmth spread through her once more. It caressed her skin, gently, sensually, promising more of this comfort and safety if she just let it. A few moments later that felt like hours a second feeler closed in on Esperanza, sliding into the palm of her hand, enticing her to hold and grasp it.

“I can give you what you want, what you need.”

The second feeler pulsed and throbbed in her hand.

“I can help you. If you let me.”

The entity’s glow intensified and pulsed.

“But you have to want it. You have to trust me.”

More and more feelers and tentacles slowly closed in around her, brushing against her as gentle as a warm summer wind. Teasing. Tempting. Promising a lover's tender embrace.

Had the voice felt that deep before? Had it seemed as if it was resonating inside her? She was breathless as she watched it approach. Before it had been impossible, awe-inspiring, existentially terrifying, but now she saw beauty in it. There was so much, so big, but at the same time it was somehow delicate.

It had been watching her, which would have been a frightening violation, but those sorts of rules seemed ridiculous when applied to this... entity. Instead of feeling imposed upon, she felt oddly flattered that such a being would deign to notice her.

When it touched her, she trembled. It was so tender. It was miraculous that something so immense could manage to touch her so softly. To comfort her, even as it threatened to annihilate her concept of what could be.

It claimed to know her pain. She flinched at that. She'd heard that before. People said they understood all the time, but did they really? No. Never. They said they knew, and when she opened up, they ran away. It was hard to imagine this thing running away, but it was equally hard to imagine it understanding her insecurity.

Still, her fingers closed around the tendril that touched her palm. She held it, softly, but rigidly, afraid it would pull away because she wanted it. She wanted to feel it in her hand. It was so warm, so alive. It seemed to pulse in her hand, as if some giant, heart-like organ was pumping, only instead of blood, it was this warm, purple glow.

"Please," she whispered, when it repeated it's statement that it could help.

Then more of its appendages, ('feelers, tendrils, tentacles" her mind whispered) moved to touch her. And its touch was so delicate, so sweet, feather light, smooth and soft as butter. She shivered, feeling something happening that she didn't recognize, because this was not arousal as she understood it - this was not a shameful sensation, accompanied by guilt and self-loathing to match the sexual excitement. This was clean. It was erotic, but somehow spiritual. Pure.

"Please help me," she said. "I trust you."

Omphalos heard her words, and purred. A cascade of satisfied pulses resonating off reality itself and reverberating in the space around them, encompassing Esperanza in a way human language simply held no words or concepts for.

“Then it is agreed. Do not be afraid. I will protect you.”

The entity was pleased by Esperanza’s swift and eager acceptance, and immediately began to craft instructions for the budding infection inside her body. There wouldn’t be any drastic changes as for now, still too great was the risk of early detection by others who could fight back efficiently.

Instead the invisible miasma would accelerate the changes of her own design. It would help her shed mass, grow muscle, and reshape her form. It would help tighten and strengthen tissue where necessary or desired. In the coming days and weeks the training more be a little more exhausting, but also three times more effective in how much change it brought.

Meanwhile the feelers and tentacles closed in around Esperanza, surrounded her, and – after another endless moment of gentle brushes – finally swept her off her feet. Omphalos carefully picked her up and laid her on her back, floating her on a never ending wave of its appendages which slowly undulated as they carried her.

Below her, the feelers and tendrils provided her with a comfortable bed that defied all description. Giving her a sensation of weightlessness, they carried her closer to the creature’s body. Its otherworldly purple haze filled her field of view while infinity reflected off its beating core.

Around her, the tentacles closed into a blanket, like fingers of a million hands entwining to shelter her from a cruel and uncaring universe. Comforting and shielding her with the promise that no harm would come to her in this place. A few feelers remained within, giving company to her own hands, and tenderly stroked her cheeks, arms, and legs.

“Rest now. You will soon begin to see the change. Be patient, and you will have all you ever desired.”

A blanket of sleepiness settled over Esperanza, and she soon sank into a relaxing slumber. Hours later her alarm woke her again, but today something was different. Not only had the nightly encounter refreshed her like before, but the pure arousal from the entity’s gentle embrace had also survived into the daylight.

The being’s call for patience lingered while her arousal warred for her attention.

More and more of the thing's tentacles and feelers moved around her. It would protect her. She felt her feet leave the ground, as it lifted her into its embrace. The touch was gentle, supportive, the contact smoother than the finest satin. She lay on a bed of it, as other tendrils touched her, tenderly, softly, erotically. It covered her, every inch of her was in touch with it but she felt free, still.

She moved closer, which was not quite right. It was moving her, and it was moving her through itself, closer to its core. The light grew more intense, the touch more arousing.

The whole thing seemed to be vibrating. It was massaging her and seducing her, like no man ever had. Like no man had ever wanted to. It told her to rest. To be patient.

She woke up. Her alarm bleating. Her body was hot, damp with sweat, trembling with arousal. She touched herself, just a little. A little was all it took. She had never cum without porn before, and it felt strangely clean. There was no shame, no guilt. When she sat up, she saw herself in the mirror, and she didn't hate what she saw. She was still too big, but she wasn't hideous. She was no monster.

"Thank you," she said, addressing the words to the mirror. She laughed. Well, her dreams had started when the mirror came, so it only made sense.

She went to the gym, pushed herself, an extra set, a few extra klicks on the treadmill.

She went to work. Somebody teased her that she was coming out of her shell, because she actually started a conversation.

She went home, eager to go to bed again. When she slipped between the covers and closed her eyes, she was naked.

Omphalos savored the drips of raw lust filtering through the connection while Esperanza fingered herself to a rapid and explosive morning climax. Her kind’s taste was different, with a somewhat rougher texture than the other sources in the garden, but it liked the result very much regardless. This world, should the grand design succeed, would make an excellent addition to the collection.

The entity observed her renewed vigor with great satisfaction. And while it couldn’t afford to invest this level of energy and direct care into every single human, the gains it calculated from nurturing Esperanza to perfection still promised to be more than worth the effort.

When she finally went to bed at night, Omphalos curiously observed that today she had not only skipped the porn but also her nightwear.

After Esperanza fell asleep, Omphalos observed her silently for a long moment, sketching out the way her body would change, develop, improve in the near future. The entity invoked the connection, and pulled her into its mindscape once again, almost as eager as she was to see what would happen next.

She found herself standing there just like she lay in bed, completely naked. Behind her, the creature was already waiting for her, its body and tentacles swaying in ethereal currents.

“Welcome back, Esperanza.”

The expression reflected off nonexisting walls around them, resounding in a harmonic echo. The being’s voice had barely faded, when it began to unfurl its form, releasing a bloom of feelers that folded down before her in an offering. An offering like a banquet, ripe for the taking if one dared to reach out for it.

It was similar to how they had enclosed her the night before, but now the choice was fully hers. The feelers and tentacles appeared in many different shapes and sizes, some a little more suggestive than others.

Some were delicate and soft enough to slowly tease her sensitive spots into madness, others were strong enough to hold her by her wrists and ankles with frightening ease, others yet further out seemed to hold the power to shatter continents.

“You came with a request tonight, did you not?”

The entity forged the question not as an accusation, but rather as something more akin to a curious inquiry. Perhaps even a risque challenge, a dare to voice her true desires and see what happens after. It was interested what she wanted, because shedding her clothing had not been an accident.
