Pleasure Kingdoms Second Attempt: OOC

*drools*

Oh, oh God, please, don't let it end before Sunday!
Oh my, did,......

*Stares and drools*

Very pleasant mental images.....

*Muches on some popcorn and grabs a Coke from his Neverending Mini-Fridge*

Naw thanks, don't drink. Can't stand the taste.

*Watches the hot bath action.*
.....This is so terribly not fair.....

*Cheesy announcer's voice* Sorry folks but we now interrupt this program for a change of scene... thank you for your patience...

(Sorry in a mood to day and couldn't resist:) )

Damn Skippy, Pal.

*Offers up Neverending Mini-Fridge, as you can't really deplete it.*

Whoo! Go girls!

*Sips at his Coke and has a little more popcorn.*

No!
They're doin' fine. Don't want Shizura to get so horny she creams early and gets all shy and ends it or something.

Jeez, man, enjoy the pace it's at, it's good!

Yummy! ^_^

At least other people are enjoying it too. It's the least I can do, what with having a female who's shy of guys!

(At least... at the moment.)

Leaking into SJ?

YES! Do it! Now! Hurry, boy, hurry!
Can't throw anyone out a window if you're that horny, hehe.

Wouldn't Seth have to be fantasizing about Evee too, though? I mean, since he's asleep and all, it's not as strong, right?

Not that fantasizing about two pretty girls at once is improbable or anything. ^_^

Hello all,

I realize that I'm coming in fairly late in the game, but after reading the OCC and the main story thread, I think you all have a good thing going here. I would very much lie to join in, provided that it's all right with the rest of you. I know there are a lot of people involved already, so I understand that adding a new character at this point could be a pain. Still, I really like the feel of it, the backstory, and the characters as they've developed. I have a character idea ready, so I'll go ahead and post it too, for convenience's sake. Let me know what you think, I'm looking forward to seeing more of this story either way. I know it's a bit long, but I tend to go all out what I come up with a character, sorry about that.

Name: Taren Orlandau

Race: Half Elven

Physical Description: Taren isn't quite what most people expect from someone with elven blood. Instead of being waify and lithe, he has a solid, muscular build. Years of travel and comabt have hardened him, further lending mass to his rugged frame. His face shows his elven blood more than his body, sharp and delicate elven features blending with a rugged human handsomeness to create a pleasing but unusual appearance. The high brow of his elven ancestry is crowned with a clean but wind styled shock of black hair, lightening noticably to a dark green at the ends, falling just above his broad shoulders. His keen leaf green eyes seem to be innuminated from within, as though candles burned in their depths. He stands 5' 10" tall, weighing in at about 180 pounds.

He wears a royal blue and black enamled brestplate as his only armor, a well made tunic of a darker blue under the metal, with loose pants of black leather and worn brown leather boots as his usual outfit, with fingerless brown leather gauntlets for his hands. Most of his equipment is stored in a small pouch at his waist, that holds as much as a small hut, whatever the owner is reaching for always on hand when opened. Though he uses many weapons stored in the pouch, he constantly bears two wickedly curved shotels on his back, along with a rounded triangular shield.

Skills & Powers: Taren possesses low-level but flexible Earth Magic (Attack, Defense, and Support spells) from his elven blood, but he is far stronger in the Fighter Trance, having great strength with such techniques. He has been trained in several combat styles and weapons, but is the master of none. His training is mostly in unusual weappons, and as such he is far less competant with a simple sword or axe than with a scythe, shotel or other oddball weapon. He has some knowledge of wilderness lore and survival but only the bare basics. He has some rudimentry knowledge of etiquette and social graces, but little practical experience. He has a talent for stonework, creating and selling small carvings as a way to make money. He is largely ignorant of the world's history and politics, having been isolated most of his young life.

Example Spells & Techniques: Strength of Stone Meditation, Granite Skin, Gem Missile, Reaping the Bloody Grain, Climhazzard.

History and Personality: Taren knows that he had a human father and an elven mother. His father was a skilled warrior, who traveled the lands as a mercenary owing allegiance to on one, his mother was a sorceress who became his companion along with several others on a mysterious quest. That is all that he has been able to learn. Orphaned as a young child, with only the faintest memories of his parents remaining, Taren stayed for a few years as a ward of his mother's apprentice, a kind hearted elven Water Mage named Manora. It was here that he learned the little magic he knows, staying along the trees with the elves until a stormy night on his 10th year. It was then that Gynan Fahn, the renowned Weapons Master, came for the boy. Manora seemed to know that this day had come, and gave the confused and grieving boy into the care of the grim Weapons Master. For the next nine years, Taren traveled and trained with Gynan Fahn learning the way of the warrior and to tap into his powers of Trance. What little he knows of his parents comes from Fahn, who after giving him that little said that the rest of the story would have to wait until he had proved himself by entering the Wizard's College. Now traveling on his own, Taren is seeking the way to the Wizard's College, battling monsters and other adventurers along the way, hoping to do enough grand and good deeds to be admitted by the time he arrives.

Taren is much like the Earth he commands, patient and enduring. He is even tempered and thinks quickly but throughly before acting. Once his temper is roused though, he is a nigh unstoppable terror, striking with the power and deceptive swiftness of an avalanche. He is usually kind to others, giving them the benefit of the doubt until they prove unworthy of his trust. Once lost though, it is difficult to regain. Even once he has forgiven a slight or an incident, he always remembers it. Int he same way, his loyalty is unshakable once given, and a favor doen for him is remembered forever. Living in seclusion has makes him nervous around large groups, and he has a great dislike of cities. Taren has not had much contact with women since leaving Manora, and is very shy and anxious around them, though he is determined to overcome what he feels is a serious weakness. He has a casual disregard for the law, believing in what is right over what is legal, which occasionally gets him into trouble.

Just as a note, JC, if there's enough folks already, feel free to use Taren here as a NPC or however you see fit.

Interesting character.
And it's not too long.

We'll see what JC says before we welcome you in, though.
So, unti then, have a seat, a Coke, and watch the Bath scene!
Not really much else to do at the moment.....

Popcorn?

Hot Damn!

And away we go! It's a good day today!
Posting is such fun.....

Wow! I'm... impressed.

"Reaping the Bloody Grain"... Wooo! Awesome! Hahahaha! I like you!

Be careful, though -- none of us are especially powerful right now. If you want to make him this strong, balance him out with something. I don't mind, and I like him, but I just don't want people to get too overshadowed by any other character. Perhaps he is very methodical or something, and takes his time with things; he'll wait for the right moment to strike, so he'll fight well, but he won't throw himself into the fray like a crazy man and lay about and save the day. Or maybe it'd be better if he just wasn't quite so experienced YET. Leave some room for character development in the "leveling up" field, you know?

I, personally, have no problem with another character -- my only worry is of people feeling left out. I try my best not to leave anyone forgotten, but sometimes it's hard, so as long as you realize that you might have to bring your character into the storyline yourself as times -- it's only easier with less people because it's easier for the GM to bring events to each different character, you know?

But I'd love to have you. Awesome character description. ^_^

And nice to meet you! I'm JC!

GM? Huh, what?

OH! Ohhhhh, nevermind. *Scoots chair closer as things become increasingly hot, smiling evilly*

Oh yeah! Woo-hoo!
*munches popcorn*

Nice to meet you as well, JC. I'd say that you could call me whatever you'd like but I'm afraid to what I might get. ; ) I know Armphid is a mouthful though, so feel free to shorten it however you please.

I'll edit Taren a bit so he fits in better. I have no problem with playing him as more of a rookie. I'll drop his skill level a bit, and play up the fact that he will not be operating at 100% efficiency until he gets used to all the pretty ladies jumping around whenever the action starts, lol. Probably drop a few techniques I had in mind for him, things he will later develop.

Once the final version gets the nod, I'll just look for a good spot to insert myself. ...Can't believe I jsut said something like that. What I meant was...ah, well, you all can take that however you wish.

Can I call you Arm? Or maybe ARM, like its some sort of super-powered weapon with an acronym.

ARM, engage! ARM, revise!

Wheeee! ^_^

ARM!
That's cool.

Power up the ARM, we go to war!
lmao.

Oh, that's great. Heh.

Welcome to PK, ARM. Hope you have fun, inserting yourself places. lol.

And we can have some sort of odd drama about ARM Pilots. What would it stand for?

Automated Reconnaisance Machines.

Aura Recycling Modules.

Armored Retailiation... Moths?
