Pleasure Kingdoms Second Attempt: OOC

Here's my idea... those of us who want to continue do and if JC returns... then she can have at it once more.. Just an idea. Hate to see the start of a good story just die...

Whoooaa!

I'm still alive, if unreliable.

I hope everyone's been taking it easy. I'm back from visiting my lil sister in California, college applications are done, and my crazy epic short story/first chapter that I'm writing for no reason at all has reached 90 pages and I'm almost done with it. It's pretty slick though. I'll probably post it on lit when I'm done with it. I wonder if there are any stories that big here.

So let's see. What was I doing. Shizura was running down the path to go beat the crap out of some trolls! Right! And then we'd find out who the evil mastermind is! And have our first epic battle! Right! And there would be much feasting and merrymaking and matchmaking. Word up!

Though, uh, you might want to give me a little bit.

I'm not dead, though -- I'm just sleeping.

Well JC it would be great to have you back, even though by lack of ooc posts it seems like me and Armphid and maybe GrandMage are the only ones still around.

And if Lit won't let you post a story that long..you can email it...I'd love to readit.

hey, this thing is going again? she's back? excelent. i'm back in

I remain loyal to the thread!

Ho-Ha!

All shall feel the wrath of my biting cardboard tube! Prepare for the pain!

Many apologies for posting in the PK thread without checking here first. I am new to Lit and didn't quite catch up on that part. Here is my character and background for your viewing pleasure.

Ritsuko Hitari - Samurai
185 years of age
Short cropped black hair
Height 5' 1", Weight: She's not telling.

Her clan annihilated by a rival, Ritsuko must learn to live with the shame of becoming a ronin not of her own volition. She has existed for more human generations than she would like to admit, and due to her elven lifespan, it often comes as quite a shock to her to discover that humans she thought she knew "yesterday" are now long dead.

Acting as an ambassasdor for her clan, Ritsuko was absent when the devastating attack came. While her clan's slayers were more than patient waiting for her return, several factors that they hadn't counted on allowed her to escape their killing grasp.

She had originally been meant to become a teacher among her family and clan, as her blade techniques were developed by her personally by trial and a whole lot of error. Now that her clan is gone, she struggles within herself to find pride and honor in what she does once more.

Her father was likewise a swordsman, his spirit and thus his techniques resonated to Fire. A reckless man by nature, he married a priestess who leaned closer to Earth, her innate patience keeping their marraige solid throughout the years.

Much to the disappointment of her parents, Ritsuko didn't seem to take to either personality, though she managed to pick up on some of her mother's weaker Earth techniques. Early in her life, her uncle attempted to test her for the gift of magic. Whether or not it was because he specialized in Air magic is uncertain, but Ritsuko failed miserably.

Nobody knows why, but Ritsuko seems to draw her focus from the moon. It was hoped that she could teach this knowledge to the future generations of clansmen and women, but now she wonders if her knowledge will die with her.

Consequently, she is most comfortable at night, though she can function just fine during the hours of daylight as well. She cannot however unleash her greatest attack without being under the light of the moon.

Ahh, so that's what that comment about it being day was all about.

Well, good to have you with us. Although, if I were you, I'd watch out for my character.
*evil grin*

It's so fun to play a monster.

As long as I see a pair of people that have replied to my last post, and presumably more that will come, let me give a compliment to all the writers who took part in PK long before I showed up. I can honestly say that I read al 20 pages before making the first post that I did, lol. There is an incredible amount of talent here, and that is what drew me to attempt a post of my own.

Look forward to seeing each and every one of you in PK. Thanks again for your compliments, both here and in PM. :)

Welcome Roleplaylifer... thanks for jumping in when you did.. you worked Ritsuko in perfectly by helping Logan. Welcome to the group.. I look foreward to more of your posts.

Just a note to all....

I will be away from my computer from Friday night through Sunday night.. will be returning to my posting on Monday though. Everyone have a great weekend and I look forward to playing catch up. ;)

WELCOME BACK....

Welcome back JC.. hope you're here for awhile.. loved the post.. great catch up.. and twist..

NR :)

Hahahah, I was hoping it wasn't too obvious leading up to it. I figured I'd better get to it at some point though. ;)

He's no villain, per se, but he's no hero for sure. And I don't think we'll manage to kill him the first time around!

But I hope I'm here to stay too. Get things back together again.

And welcome, Ritsuko! Yeeha!

Now let's see if Seth and Hotaru can get back in the game...

(blushes slightly) Thank you for the warm welcome JC. I look forward to more of your clever additions to the forum. I had been hoping you'd return. :)

I too, mirror NightRayne's hope that you'll be back with us for some time to come. Welcome back.

Hey GM I don't think Armphid meant for Taren to assume Levastine's wounds weren't all that bad.. I just think he may have missed them. :)

I know that.

But, Zarl, well, Zarl's not in a good mood. He's dirty, weak, injured, and tomorrow he has to make a Calling.

Unpleasant.

A Calling? What's that again? Going to talk to your Totem or something?

I hope that's not my terminology. Otherwise, I'm TOTALLY out of it.

Well, a Macrai-Itoche male can't be expected to return to his homelands for a lifetime of rape to return crystals, can he? And he can't very well force his fellow Macrai-Itoche to wait for eternal peace until he becomes an elder, right?

A Calling is a magic signal that calls female Macrai-Itoche (From the Homelands or out hunting males) to go to the signals source and pick up crystals. While they're not allowed to drag a male home during a Calling, they are allowed to,...'have their way' with him.

Unpleasant.

Oooh. Wow. That sucks. Poor guy.

Especially when his females are contrasted against all of the cute girls he's fighting with! *strikes a pose* ^_^

If I may point out, there are no dead bodies left on the battlefield...They all became soulstones, right? I just thought to clear up that since it had been made clear when Armphid had to edit the body-burning before. heh.

Wow....if Ritsuko had known that, she'd have thought it more merciful to not give you the crystals. An oath is an oath though. Sigh. :p

It is a matter of honor to undergo such trials.

Of course, if she feels too bad about it, she could always volunteer to help erase the bad memories with some better memories of having sex with a pretty warrior. Hmm?
