ok, so let me set a scene:
I'm confronted by 3 goblins. I don't want to make a lot of noise, because some more may be out there, so I want to skip the gestures and words.
Using my staff as a focus, I draw upon air and waier, causing my staff to glow a erie blue color, and with a flourish I point my staff at the monsters, firing a blast of cold energy out of my staff, freezing them solid.

that how it can work?

It has to be a specific spell itself. You still need to say the name.

Only because I'd like characters to come up with specific spells they can cast, not just improvisation -- though, of course, that's how they make up the spells in the first place. ^_^

There are still some people that haven't posted... hopefully they'll come back, though. And hey, ST, are you going to do your second character? Cuz she was cool.

I think things will get sorted out once everyone reaches the town. Nighttime might be a bit of a brawl, but once that is over with, we'll have an impressive army of adventurers.

I just realized that I missed Yoshi. I must have been trying to react to too many things at once. I hope I didn't scare Steiner away by doing that. ^_^;;

Well, Steiner, you can follow us to the waterfall, or just stop for a while when you see us walk off and then make your way to the town after us. Otherwise, if you see Zarl, Tenryu will want to kill him, and Shizura probably will too. ^_^

On the other hand, Yoshi might just say "Screw it! I'm too tired!" That would work.

I just want to make sure I don't leave anyone behind. And it looks like I did all the same. Sorry about that, man. Don't give up on me!

Now let's see:

Shard and Teia are in the town. Eeve is there too, right? Also, Hotaru will probably start there.

Our Macrai-Itoshe, our lovely dark elf, dear Shizura, Kevin the enchanted werewolf, Logan the enchanted unicorn, and Seth the invisible mage are at the waterfall.

Raen and Yoshi are on the path.

n00n's character hasn't yet appeared. Neither has ST's second character, if she's still in the game. Khad's character hasn't appeared either.

LayZ and Arc aren't going to play, I guess. Which is okay -- we have quite a few people. Maybe a few more guys than girls; but that just means you guys have to try harder!
