I cannot stop rolling my eyes at people saying that Amber Heard’s case loss is an outrage and the outcome is detrimental to women who are victims of domestic violence. Really? I mean, really?? It was very clear that the relationship was volatile on both sides.

Many people commenting in the above way are self-proclaimed feminists. One of the definitions of feminism is “the belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities”. Both Heard and Depp were given equal opportunity to present their case. The evidence was presented and judged.. and Heard lost. What a win for men who are victims of domestic violence! Just because someone has a vagina, does not automatically make them a victim. Feminism also does not dictate that you are required to like every stupid woman you encounter. It’s about equal rights, and both Heard and Depp had them in court.

That and this trial was not about whatever perceived DV was there. This was simply about Defamation. This was not about whether or not either one of them was abusive to the other.
 
Its amazing how much air time this got compared to....say Ginni Thomas conspiring to overthrow a Presidential election. Think it was news for a day. Maybe there was really nothing there.
 
I don't know what a presidential election is, but I'm pretty sure that has nothing to do with anything fun.

It's amazing how no thread can go for more than two pages without politics being brought up.
