I've always found movies are more enjoyable to walk out of if its dark out when the film is over.

Something about walking out of a dark theatre into sunlight just doesn't appeal to me, even if it is cheaper.

I wonder why?

I love matineees- they remind me of childhood and Hayley Mills ( and things illegal to talk about)
