I want to take a second to voice a few thoughts...I hope you all don't mind...I'm trying to let everyone know just how thankful we are this Thanksgiving and every day as well.
This has been one heck of a rough year for us: January found me on medical leave for 3 weeks with an ear infection..I was running into walls, but I found Lit ....

April and May my oldest son had possibly become a father.....to our knowledge he didn't...he also graduated in June...my baby was all grown up..he thought..and my youngest failed 8th grade....

July I turned 40...eek..and said son informed me he was going to enlist in the army...oh and Shreik took a tumble down the basement stairs...not a good sign....

August passed pretty quiet except for financial worries we can't seem to escape and my oldest son left for bootcamp...September...Shreik turned 40 and I fell spraining my ankle...*sigh*

October...I almost lost my sweet lovable kind-hearted hubby....but I didn't quite a miracle all by itself

November is here..almost over and I look back on what this year has been and all I can think is..I've got so much to be thankful for....Its been rough but..my hubby is alive and doing remarkably well, my oldest is maturing and will be stationed in the US for at least 18 months...or so they say..my youngest is passing and has also matured very much...my brothers are happy, my parents are in good health, I have a roof over my head and I have my friends here that have been so wonderfuk...how can I ever thank all of you for the love and support you have sent....

can't except to say thank you all so very much and I hope that this year when looking back on it you can say..it was a year to thankfuul for...I love you all and I wish you all a very "thankful" Thanksgiving...count your blessings, it may surprise you how many you have....

My dear friend...

You certainly have had your ups and downs this year, *no pun intended... but ducks from your swat anyway*

I know the feeling of almost becoming a Grand=parent... I am one... and my grand-daughter is here with me, right now! I found out I was a Grandmother a little over a year ago, quite by surprize.

I am so glad you DIDN'T lose your loving hubby... for it could have so easily happened... as a result of many things... the least of which would have been the accident itself.

In spite of all the BAD that has occured... you have become strengthened by it, and there has been GOOD that weighs in the balance.

Those of us whose life you have touched... both you and your hubby... have been blessed by the coming to know you... in the plural sense (both). You have given love and kindness... and it has been returned to you... tenfold and more.

Here are my Thanksgiving blessings for you:

1)May your home be filled with the joy of a close family unit... and I'm sorry that your youngest has had to repeat 8th grade.

2)May your eldest be home from basic/bootcamp.

3)May your hubby be at home and sitting at the head of the table, as is his rightful place... and finally...

4)May your table ring with happiness.

Know you are blessed my dear friend... and cherished by many.

Cats and Shreik.........you trully do have a lot of blessings this Thanksgiving. True it has been a difficult year for your family....but God doesn't give us more than we can handle, and it sounds like you two have handled all of your challenges very well. May your oldest son be able to come home soon on leave from basic training, congrats to your son for doing better in school and maturing along the way. I hope that your recent bone scan brought you positive news. My biggest wish for your family is that Shreik continues to do well and is able to come home for good.

Things that I am thankful for are my health, my children, my beautiful grand-daughter, my friends and online and off, and my faith.

Hope that your family has a grand Thanksgiving. Leaving your family many thoughts and prayers. We all love you both and hope nothing but the best for you.
