Shreik Update


I just spoke to Cats at the at the hospital. He is awake and I could hear him talking to her. She said he is somewhat better this morning and that they had just turned him for the first time.

She hasn't been home at all.

I have the address of the hospital if you want to send cards or letters.

Just pm me for it please.

R & D,

I know that the hospital can get tedious, but do not be in a hurry to get home. You now have a 24 hour a day job to work on getting well. Attitude makes a huge difference in healing, let your family and friends help D and you out. Contact me if you need anything. You guys are less than three hours away from me, do not be shy about asking. I am thinking & praying for you both.

C'mon people, lets keep this top priority!!!! Altho Shreiks awake, he will still need all the prayers he can get.

I had a thread started for me when I had some extensive, serious surgery...and I can't tell you how much I appreciated hearing from all the Lit people.

Cats, I'm here for ya hon, should you need anything. I can be there in 6 hours time! Don't hesitate to ask for help, as Kowboy said!! I have a good, strong shoulder and I'm great at holding hands. You both are in my prayers, I just have not been able to get either of you off my mind. Hang in there kiddo!!

Shreik...hang on sweetheart!! We're all praying for a full recovery!! Just do as the docs tell ya, and soon you will be back home w/ your beautiful D.......we love you both so much!!

What do you say to people that do so much for a family that most don't even know..I don't have the words that can tell you how much this means to me and Shreik...I told him about it being started and he started to cry and I was already crying. It touches our hearts so deeply....thank you everyone....{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Another little update he sat up on his bed this morning not straight up but his bed is one of those that adjusts to simulate sitting and he did it!!! He has had back problems before and his size was pressing against his spine so sitting even a little was a major accomplishment. He is still only on IV fluids but allowed ice chips and small sips of water today.. his biggest concern other than injuries already being treated is a severe pain in his left abdomen, which may cause him to have exploatory surgery yet.

Gosh I just can't believe this...may whatever God or Goddess you pray to bless each and everyone of you deeply....special thank you's to EW , Missing and Peggy & G.I.D.-Gumby Love ya Sistes and Gumby....

EW asked me to come by and give a prayer bump and if I know EW she made this thread without a second thought, that is how she lives her life, there for whoever may need a hand or prayer. I will tell her when she comes back the good news.
