To those of you who go to the Quizilla.com site:


I have spent, the intervening hours since 11:30 this morning until 15:15 this afternoon... trying to DELETE a Trojan Horse virus that attached itself to the following path:

C:\Windows\Cache\SysInst.EXE (which is in the 'cache' on the 'sys(tem)Inst'(all). EXEcute)

and subsequent ad-ware and spy-ware that got added to my hard drive from this site.

Now, in the past... I have stopped by the site a few times... and left with no problems. Today was the exception!! As soon as I tried to log out and off, the spy-ware was added (I could hear my hard drive grinding as if trying to run another program) and the ad-ware was loading with such speed that my Pop-Up blocker, from Panicware.com... could NOT block all the ads fast enough.

I even had a tech from the shoppe where I take my computer, walk me through how to delete the Trojan via MS-DOS. As soon as I re-booted the comp... the red/yellow Virus Warning screen was back. My cpu then spent the next 45 to 60 minutes, on the tech's work table, AT the shoppe.

If you go to take one of the quiz's... and you see that the questions are on the RIGHT hand side of the page and the button is AFTER the sentence... DO NOT TAKE IT! The site may well have been hijacked!!

I am never going back to the Quizilla.com site again. I refuse to have a duplication of this afternoon. I got so frustrated, that I was just about ready to toss this into the rubbish bin... I really was.

It is now running fine... and NO Trojan Horse viruses, ad-ware, or spy-ware. If you discover that you have a 'program' on your computer entitled "Virtual Bouncer"... go into the Add/Remove program icon of your 'Control Panel' and then delete it from your registry of programs.

IF that fails... go into the "C" drive icon in your 'Control Panel', find your "Programs" file... open it and delete the "Virtual Bouncer" file and all of its components. There are 'hooks' attached to this 'program' ( there may be a prompt (little window) telling you that this is a program and can not be deleted... DELETE IT ANYWAY! ) and these hooks may make it difficult for you to boot your computer.

That was the most frustrating four hours + that I wish to spend thank you very much."

Thank you dear Shreik. I probably should have sent you a pm asking your permission to do this... but too many of your friends go to the Quizilla site. I just don't want a re-occurance of this... for them!
