Problems with the Wii?

It's availability, like Belegon mentioned earlier.

They are just not in stock anywhere.

I understand that, but they must get stock every few weeks or so...and when they do, they should replace your unit first...that's what would be the right thing to do.

It pretty much comes down to money and convenience. They can make more money selling ALL Their Wiis rather than having to replace them and they don't have to be bothered with sending one back to Nintendo themselves when you have to do it.

I need to Wii more.

I'm hearing that Wii Fit will be "the" hard-to-find gift this year. Can't decide if I want it, though. I do my best workouts on my own system.

The Wii Fit is amazing! You can't play it with the family, like you can with Wii sport games, but it's as much fun. I didn't think the workouts would be all that hard, but I've exercised enough to feel it the next day without noticing that I was exercising.

I was shocked to see eighteen of them on the sales floor today. That store had been using a lottery system in an effort to be fair because demand was so high. I wonder how long these will last.

I do advise that you buy all the accessories you will need now rather than wait till after the holidays. Rechargable battery packs and maybe a wireless sensor. Stay away from the Nyko brand, they have a tendency to crap out with a month. I making a sacrifice to the Nintendo Gods that it is returned to you better than ever.

I agree, buy the accessories you want now. If you know you want them, why wait?

Good to hear.

But one of the nice things about having kids is not having to share. ;)

The Wii works splendidly.

And the children were very surprised. That was fun.

When they opened up game packages halfway through the morning they were puzzled.

"Um," said daughter. "This game is for the Wii."

"Yes, we know," said hubby and myself, and then pulled the Wii from behind the chair (where the controllers had been charging all night).

Much happiness, screams, jumping up and down and hugging and other assorted lunacy ensued.

Now they're slowly working their way through the games.

I might take a nap.

:D

Merry Christmas, everyone!

:rose:

It pleases me to hear that it is all working out.

Wait until all four of you get involved in one of the party games. The things they make you do, and what everyone looks like doing it, is hilarious. :D

It is fun, isn't it? I figured I'd like guitar better I'm loving the drums.

We borrowed young son's drumset throne but that won't work for long. We'll have to snag a little stool to remain permanently upstairs with the game.

You just can't really play drumset while standing.

I would agree with that, but the drummer of Danzig for the Mother video was practically standing. I could never figure out how he could play like that (not that the drummer of Danzig all that well anyway ;) ).
