I do all my photo editing on my phone using a free application called Tadaa. Using it, you can isolate parts of your photo and blur them, saturate them with colour (or desaturate to create a greyscale), etc. I like playing with my images in editing. It is yet another way to flex the creative muscles.

Shadows & Light

It’s time for another assignment. Mostly because I need a distraction from what is going on around me.

Shadows & Light

Those who know me also know music is important to me. So here’s Shadows & Light by Saudade.

Saudade is a project by Chino Moreno of the Deftones. That song includes Chelsea Wolfe and is not like their normal music.

Saudade means this:

a feeling of longing, melancholy, or nostalgia that is supposedly characteristic of the Portuguese or Brazilian temperament.

Shadows & Light can be manipulated in many ways. Sometimes to show melancholy. Sometimes just as a neat trick. Up to you.

I will say this, shadows create the best effects. So have fun.
