Profile pic won't show up

I really don't know where to post this, so I'll try here. I've posted a pic to my profile, but it won't show up on my author page. Before you lash out, I've read the FAQ and the pic is a bikini torso shot (I've attached it to the post). From browsing other profiles, I've seen far more skin in other pics. I've emailed the webmaster twice, and I've received no response...

Any help would be appreciated.

How long has it been since you uploaded the picture?

I don't know how the new format author's pages are regenerated -- or even if they need to be regenerated. It could be that they're like the old format author's pages and don't regenerate -- and show the picture -- until the midnight maintenance run (PDT).

If it requires admin approval, it would be midnight of the day they approve it.

It's been 7 days, counting today.

That's way too long, but it means that images have to be Authorized before they show up. I don't know what the delay is, but the only thing you can do at this point is keep trying to contact Laurel or Manu.

Just be aware that there are 300,000 plus members on this site and that can mean a lot of e-mails about problems for them to handle and every one is a life or death situation to the person e-mailing them.

Back in the "good old days" when Lit only had about a thousand memebers and Laurel had time to join in discussions, she complained of having to deal with three hundred e-mails a day -- I can only imagine what it's like now.
