Proposition II - Night in the Haunted House

"I had forgotten that The Shadow Creatures knew Dareth"

I saw the smile fade from Dareth's face and I wondered why!

"All that he said was oh!oh! Look behind you!"He shouted.I looked behind me and I see The Scourge!

I smile up at him as I take his hand and he helps to pull me up to my feet I say my Friend will you let me talk to Rupert it is very Important!

The Scourge you could not destroy this place anymore than it has already been destroyed!

Once again we need your help to stop The Master from completing his Evil Mission to take over the whole Galaxy!

Dareth do not look so surprised The Scourge and I have worked together before it was not he who destroyed our homes but The Master himself!

"I did not care about The Scourge this time all that I wanted was to free Rupert and have him back with me!"

Calandrow

I decided that now was the time to pitch in. I attack the scourge with my sword, but I stop the sword halfway. I begin to concentrate hard. Soon my sword begins to absorb the scourge, making my sword more powerful than before. If the others were smart they would also begin to absorb the Scourge into their weapons. It was the way I could think of containing it, "Rupert, Demika, come help me if you want to stop this thing".

As Rupert gently pulls me to my feet I place my hand along the side of his face and I smile up at My Rupert!

I hear Calandrow asking for Ruperts and my help to stop The Scourge I Scream NO to Calandrow leave it alone get away from it before is too late!

"Calandrow that is what was controling your actions before it is pure Evil Incarnate!!"

Calandrow

"Oh shit, shes right", I quickly pull away from the monster. The power I had right now was enough. I bit more, and I would have been the silent psycho type again. I wait for a better plan.

 

[Yoc]

"I suggest we move NOW!" says Dareth. "Rupert's re-emergence had disorientated the creatures but they are recovering."

They move away, with Rupert sweeping Demika in his arms and running with Calandrow right beside him. Before him running frantically is van Frankenheimer's assistant.

It is only when they get a little ahead of the Scourges does the second Dareth suddenly shouts "Where is the Master?"

Rupert sweeps me up into his Arms and I snuggle into his furry body as he runs beside Calandrow to get away from The Scourge

Dareth 2 if I know The Master he thinks that he has found The Ratharuk but is he in for a Giant Surprise Charge of Electricity from a Lightening Bolt!

OOC I am going to be gone for a couple of days I'm going up to my Brothers place so I will see ya all when I get back!

We ran as fast as, our feet could carry us. I however, dissapeared again. Watching out for my sister.

As RUpert was carring me I saw Calandrow Disappear and I knew that he was watching out for me as he had always done before!

I say Telepathically to Calandrow I have always loved you My Brother!

 

[Yoc]

Picking up their pace, the group make their way along the path, away from the broken coach.

Ahead of them, dawn is finally breaking...

OOC Sorry for not posting sooner but I have been having RL troubles

As we are walking by what used to be The Carriage!

I ask Dareth 1 as it is turnng into Dawn what about "The Beasts that pulled The Carriage" are you just going to leave them there to be eaten?

Dareth

Dareth looks back at the 'horses' now turning back into flesh.

He is about to reply to Shirlene/Demika's query when his twin suddenly shouts out.

"Run! Incoming wormhole!"

They all look up and see what looks like a whirling funnel which has appeared from nowhere and is now bearing down on them.

"Damn!" curses Dareth before they are all sucked in.

A moment later, only the 'horses' and the broken coach are left...

Calandrow

I could feel my self being pulled through a some sort of... thing. I didn't know what happening, and felt a bit confused. Everything around looked like flashes of blue, and silver.

I here Dareth 2 say!

"Run! Incoming wormhole!"

We all look up and see an incoming funnel that looks like a wormhole but I have a suspecian that it is much more than it seems!

I hold on tightly to Rupert as we are all sucked up into it I had a feeling that Calandrow,Dareth's 1 & 2,and I were being taken to someone!

Dareth

Coughing because of the dust, Dareth gets up on to his feet.

Around him, the others are doing likewise.

"Where are we?" asks the assistant.

Dareth looks around. Where moments before they were surrounded by forests, now they are in a vast desert surrounded by dunes.

Then he sees the five figures walking towards them.

It does not take them long to realise who they are.... themselves. They continue to come closer, their posture and look in their red eyes - menacing.

"W-who are they?" cries out the Assistant.

"Echoselves!" replies the second Dareth.

"Creatures who look and act like us." continues Dareth 1, "However they require our lifeforce, our souls as you will to become us."

"Very good!" shouts his red-eyed counterpart, "But then we have always been clever haven't we?" Then turning to his companions he shouts: "Kill them and take their souls!"

Screaming their bloodlust, the echoselves attack...

Calandrow

I watch as the others square off with their echoselves. I look at my echoself, and I wasn't surprised at what I saw. He was just standing there like a retard. All he could do was stare blankly at things, and drool. It was probably because of the fact that I had no soul for him to copy. With one swift move, I send a knife flying into its forehead. It falls down, dead. Now to help my sister.

Calandrow is safe because he has no soul for his double to take but the rest of us are not so lucky!

I know that Calandrow will help me but I notice that something is wrong and I finally realize what it is!

"I yell at everyone to stop Fighting at once!"

"We are fighting an Illusion of ourselves generated by The Master" to make sure that you are all killed and that I am left alone!

 

[Yoc]

Dareth II

Dareth II claps as he moves forward and turns to face the others.

"Well done, my dear! How clever of you to see through the ruse. However, it is not the Master who set this up, it was me to see if you would pass your final test. Congratulations! You just have!"

Springing forward, Dareth II grabs hold of the woman and the two of them vanish.

However, his voice continues.

"I am sorry, everyone but Demika and I have an appointment to keep. Your echoselves will keep you entertained. Oh! So that you do not get bored, your mirrors now have twice as much power as you do. Enjoy!"

The echo Calandrow gets up, taking the knife out of his forehead.

"Kill them my doppelgangers and their lives are yours!" the disembodied voice and then it is gone...

Before I disappear with Dareth 11 I look at both "Calandrow & Rupert" I use my Telepathy and say protect each other because the both of you are very Important to me!


Dareth 11 I would not go back right now not with The Scourge there and you did not conjure him up!

I watch my sister as she was grabbed, and brought into another portal with Dareth2. "NOOOOOOO!" I screamed in blind rage, and no one, and I mean NO ONE wants to mess with me when I'm in rage. All the dopplegangers had swords... no problem. The first one rushes at my in a fury of swipes. I quickly push my thumb into his throat, sending him crashing to the ground, gasping for air. The dopplegangers moved back a bit, since I just defeated one, bare handed. I bring stood up straight, and out one hand behind my back. The other hand, I put in front of me, and bent my wrist upward, assuming my fighting position. Its time a kicked some candyass.

Rupert

(OOC: THK, you are not a fan of the WWF's The Rock are you by any chance?)

"Rrruuppperrrttt conffusseedd! Wwwhhherrreee isss giiirrrllfrrieend?"

He stands there, staring at the spot Shirlene/Demika was standing before she vanished.

Then he is aware of someome coming towards him, fast.

Before he can react, something slams into him and sends him flying.

Dazed, confused, he looks up and sees whatever had struck him bearing down.

"Rrruppperrtt wwwannntttss yyoouurr ssooulll ssssoo ttthatt hhe cccannn lllliiivvveee!" shouts his attacker.

Rupert is really confused.

"HHHuuuhh!!??? Yyyyooouu cccaaannn'ttt bbeee Rrrruppeerttt. I aaaamm Rrrrupperrrt!"

He is abruptly cut off as his attacker slams his fists down onto Rupert's chest, almost caving it in...

Dareth 11 do you think that I Demika will not do anything to you for this outrage!

You do not have the Brain Power to think at least "The Original Dareth had the guts to stand up to me!"

"While all that you can do is to stand there Like The Sniveling Coward that you are!"


"I would have come here with The Original Dareth!"

Dareth 11 you Discust me "Rupert has more Brains than you ever will have in your entire body" and yet you still seem to think that you will be able to Control "The Shadow Creatures"I will make your life a living HELL!

"Calandrow & Demika" have been trained to make Our Enemies wish that they had never even been born or Conjured into being from the use of Magic!

Calandrow

Another one rushed at me with his sword, preparing for a thrust toward my chest. I punch him in the stomach, and lifting up my foot, I drop kicked him in the head. Breaking his skull. Seeing Rupert in trouble I quickly rushed at his clone. It was easy to tell who was the fake, since the fake one kept talking about soul eating. I kick him in the face, making him roll of the real Rupert. I then stepped on its neck, and snapped it. "Get up Rupert", I pulled up with my hand, "you should put that club of yours to good use, friend". Rupert smiled a bit knowing that I was his friend.

Rupert

Rupert lets Calandrow help him up.

"You should put that club of yours to good use, friend", he hears him say.

He looks at his arm and sees the club reappear in his hand.

"Yyyyessss!!!! Ccclluubb!! Yyooouu gggiiivvee RRrrruuppeert cccluuubbb!"

Then he remembers that he has been told to protect Calandrow (though he doesn't remember when).

He puts his hand on Calandrow's shoulder.

"Hhheeaddlesss iiisss ggiirrlllffrrriieenndd'ss fffriieeenndd! Hhhheeeaadddllllesss iiisss Rrruuppeerrrtt'ss ffrrieenddd!"

He then scratches his head in confusion.

"Wwwwhyyy hhhaaasss Hhheeadddless nnnooowww gggoottt hheeaaaddd?"

Calandrow never has a chance to answer as suddenly two enormous arms grabs him, twists him round and slams on a trunk-like knee, the back cracking.

"Ppppaaahhh!!! Hhheeaaddllllesss ttthhhouuuggghhhtt hhhee kiiillleeddd Ssssuppppeeerrr Rrrruuupppeeerrtt! Nnnooowwww Ssssupppeerr Ruuupppeeerrttt kkkillllsss yyyooouuu!" With a snarl, the fake Rupert hurles the apparently lifeless body of Calandrow into the distance.

The echo Calandrow, no longer looking dead, gets up and races after him.

The echo Rupert turns to the real McCoy.

"Hhhhuuhhh??? Yyyoouuu hhhuuurrrdddd Rrrrupppeerrrt'sss fffrrriieeendd??" he growls, his eyes starting to glow.

"Yyyessss! Nnoowwww Ssssuppperrr Rruuupppeerrrtt wwwilll kkkilll ppuunnyy Rrrruupppeeerrtt aaannddd tttaaaakkkee sssoooulll!". With that, the echo Rupert strikes out hard.

The real Rupert staggers back but does not fall.

"Hhhhuhhh? Hhhooww ccoomee yyoouu ssstilll sssstttannddd?" says the echo. Again he lashes out, this time with all its strength. Again, the real Rupert only staggers back.

"Bbbbuuttt Ssssuppeerr Rrruuppeerrtt iss sstrronnggesst ooonee tttheeerree iisss! Nnooottt pppuunyyy!" growls the echo.

"Rrrruuppeeerrttt iiisss NNNOOOTTT gggooiinnggg ddoowwwn! Yyyoouuu hhhuurrddd Rruuupperrrtt'sss frriieeendd. Yyyooouu wwwilll bbee ppuuniisshheddd!"

Raising the club his friend has given him, the real Rupert strikes back, the force of the blow sending his echo flying...

(OCC: Sorry if this sounds too much like a comic book but I love it! )

Dareth

With the disappearance of his counterpart and Demika, the group are left to deal with their echos.

Dareth has a problem.

While everyone else has one echo, Dareth has two (his and his counterpart's). Since the two of them are identical. Either echo can claim his soul.

The two of them move towards him, swords drawn.

"It appears that we have you at a disadvantage, brother." chuckles one of them.

They are right. He is doomed unless...

"You are perfectly right." he concedes. "I am done for. However, I do have one question: which of you will take my soul? Remember, however claims it will be momentarily defenseless, allowing the other to attack."

The two echos stop in their tracks.

"I didn't think of that!" says the first one.

"Nor did I!" replies the second.

The real Dareth forgotten for the moment, the two echos start to circle each other. Deciding what to do.

Leaving them to it, Dareth goes off to help the others...

Dareth 2

Dareth, now in his Liege's Grand Hall, listens to Demika's insults and threats.

"ENOUGH!" booms the voice of his Liege.

Demika shuts up.

"That is better! Welcome back, Demika. I am glad to meet you finally!"

She starts to protest...

"Silence!" and Dareth watches with satisfaction as Demika is suddenly lifted up into the air and suspended there, as if on strings.

"Now listen, Bitch! I am going to strip your mind and get the information I need to find the Ratharuk so that I can leave this accursed prison!"

"But I don't know..." Demika stops.

Dareth watches, a smile on his face, as Demika's eyes start to bulge and then really starts to scream...
