PSA - Microsoft Office price increase

I'm running Microsoft Office 2021 with a legitimate license, and not a subscription-based model, just something running off my hard drive that works whether I'm online or not. Don't ask me how I found the software, it was challenging to find the right option when I bought it and that was a few years ago now, but it was possible with a version of Word that recent. It may still be possible if you look hard enough.

The last several versions of licensed software I purchased were all obtained from legitimate sellers on e-Bay.

There are pros and cons to both cloud-based subscriptions and licensed installs.

I tend to prefer licensed installs primarily because of my frequent need to work offline and a desire to keep some of my stuff out of the cloud.

My sub allows me to do a local install (on Mac) so being offline does not matter. I store files locally, and only use OneDrive for clients that require it.
