I walked down the steps of the police station, my black heels clicking hard on the pavement as I swung my handcuffs on my fingers. “Hey Moore!” I turned my head back up to see the night guard holding my cap. “I think you forgot this.” He said shaking it a bit. With a sweet smile, I walked back up the steps over to him.

“Thank you Mr. Devor.” I said as I took the hat out of his hands. He did not bother to answer; instead, he just looked at my body. My shift had just ended about 10 minutes ago and it was a bit hot out tonight so I decided to change into something cooler before I went home. That outfit just turned out to be a tiny black shirt and a tight, white button up mid drift, which showed off my tone tummy.

I didn‘t mind him looking, he was old and most of the people who worked here were guys, I gave him something to look forward too. “Well bye Mr. Devor.” I said with a wave of my fingers as I turned away and walked back down the steps. My hair blew a bit as the late Autumn wind blow. When I saw my police car, I pulled my keys out of my pocket and used the keychain to unlock it.

Once I was next to it, I pulled the drivers side door open and got inside, slamming it behind me. “Finally, time to go home.” I yawned as I stretched a bit before buckling up. I couldn’t wait to get home and snuggle by the fire with my dog, Sirrus. Of course, I would much rather my dog be a women instead, but hey my life kept me way to busy right now. I pulled out of the parking lot and headed towards my house.

About half way home, someone pulled out in front of me, almost slamming into the front of the car. “Oh come on!” I said as I watched the driver swerve. I didn’t really fell like handing out ticket’s or sending anyone to jail tonight, but if I didn’t someone else could get hurt because this person had no idea how to follow the rules. With a groan, I switched on my lights and siren and waited for the person to pull off to the side of the road.

'I've only had three, it's okay,' Kathy thought to herself as she saw a lone vehicle on the road behind her. 'It won't show up if they breathalyze me, I'm golden,' She continued to try reassuring herself, but she only got more nervous and paranoid the more she thought of it. The car behind her followed her Ford Tempo like a ghost in a horror movie, and that scared her more than anything. Once she saw the flash of red and blue, she breathed a sigh of relief; then she smelled the three pints of Guinness on her breath, and suddenly went back into survival mode.

She groaned angrily at the entire situation, having had a big meal at the Irish pub in town and the three Guinnesses, which made her sleepy and gave her the simple desire to crawl into her bed and not wake up until her Humanities class at 11 on Monday. Her tired appearance, along with the dishevelment of her appearance, her short brunette hair that was a mess from leaning against the headrest of her seat, the condition of her t-shirt that she'd spilled honey mustard on from Irish deviled eggs, and her general droopy nature only made her more scared that the policeman would think her drunk.

She didn't think she was drunk. She'd successfully maneuvered town on more than three Guinnesses before, and when she wasn't sleepy as well. She continued to tell herself that she was fine. In the back of her mind, however, she knew she wasn't. She had a half a logical mind to park her car on the side of the road and sleep there in her car until she was really okay, and save everyone, including this cop that seemed to be off duty, any trouble that might come with her choice. This didn't matter, however, when a woman dressed in civilian clothing and an off-duty gun holster on her hip walked up to the side of her car, seemingly pissed, and Kathy prepared her license and insurance papers to speed things along as she rolled down the window.

"Good evening officer. License and registration, it's all there." The woman took it and Kathy sat in the silence, silently panicking to herself. "Is there a problem?"

I grabbed the license and registration for the women, my face blank. Looking over them for a moment, before looking back up at the women. She was quite an attractive women, someone I wouldn't mind bring home with me one night, if not every night. To bad I had to pull her over. "Well, Kathy, besides the fact that you almost hit me back there, you were swurving on the road like crazy." I said, crossing my ams. "Stay here for a moment. I'll be right back." With that said turned away and walked back to my car to see if this women had anything on her.

After a while I walked back over to her, her license and registration in one hand, a breathalyze in the other. "Okay ma'am, your records clean, but you were still swurving on the road. By any chance, have you been drinking this evening?" I asked her as I handed her back her things. Before she said anything I said, "Please step out of the car ma'am."
