QAR: The Cove

You walked into the party like you were walking onto a yacht
Your hat strategically dipped below one eye
Your scarf it was apricot
You had one eye on the mirror as you watched yourself gavotte
And all the girls dreamed that they'd be your partner
They'd be your partner, and...

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you
You're so vain, I'll bet you think this song is about you
Don't you? Don't You?

You had me several years ago when I was still quite naive
Well you said that we made such a pretty pair
And that you would never leave
But you gave away the things you loved and one of them was me
I had some dreams, they were clouds in my coffee
Clouds in my coffee, and...

I had some dreams they were clouds in my coffee
Clouds in my coffee, and...
Well I hear you went up to Saratoga and your horse naturally won
Then you flew your lear jet up to Nova Scotia
To see the total eclipse of the sun
Well you're where you should be all the time
And when you're not you're with
Some underworld spy or the wife of a close friend
Wife of a close friend, and...

Well, misty, welcome to the T Party.

Have a baclava, Cas went all out on these little delights.

Well, Bishop, have a Rob. I say passing the thirsty man a rob roy from the tray.

Hello Bishop...nice to meet you :)

Lady? I hope the rest of the night continues with the fun and frolicing that it has had up to this point...

I'm afraid the food, the music, the atmosphere and fun...and not to forget the tequila... has had its effect on me. I hope you don't mind if I just lie here in the pillows and sleep it all off.

Oh yeah
I spent ten years, half my life
Just getting ready, then it was time
Warpage in my figures, radios appear
Midnight was the barrier, back in 1963

Each night the covers were unfolded
Each night it's Susie's turn to ride
While Charles, the one they call her brother
Covers on his eyes
Murmurs in the background
It will be time

Oh yeah

Susan and her brother, Charles the grinning boy
Put me in the backseat, and they took me for a ride
Yeah, the radio was on - can't you dig the locomotion
Kingdoms of the radio, 45 RPM
Too much revolution, then

Each night the covers were unfolded
Each night it's Susie's turn to ride
While Charles, the one they call her brother
Covers on his eyes
Murmurs in the background
It will be time
It's past midnight said Charles the grinning boy
And looking at me greedily, said it's 1964

In Times Square now people do the polka
Dominance....submission...radios appear
This New Year's Eve was the final barrier
Dominance....Submission...radios appear
We took you up and we put you in the back seat
Dominance....submission...radios appear
From year to year we looked out for the venture
Dominance....Submission...radios appear
Dominance....submission

SUBmission...

Lillie, Thanks so much for the gifts, and You can sleep anywhere near me you want ~Anytime~
*smiling*
Thank you soo much for the music! Its' sooo fun when you get going. I'm going to go try this new dress on.. you'll have to tell me what you think in a moment. *smiling and slipping into the tent*

*laughing with joy*

leaning against lady T

"Wonderful!"

sipping my drink...

"Bishop...come join us and please call me misty"

I think I will have another drink. A beach party calls for one.

That was a fine sonnet there Swash. And the dancers have done a great job of keeping up...

*Twirling once in my new AV*
Thank you Lillie.. I really do love it

*smiling* And I'm going to have sooo much fun in it too!
Definitely have another drink.
I have had enough.. the music, the dancers, the gifts.. this whole wonderful night has been very exciting to me.
I'm soo glad I got to share it with good friends old and new.

Thank you, Bishop. I think it does call for another drink indeed.

I see your a Doors fan, too. Since we are sitting by the fire on the beach, a becon of life as it were...

Grandma loved a sailor
who sailed the frozen sea.
Grandpa was a whaler
And he took me on his knee.
He said, "Son, I'm going crazy
From livin' on the land.
Got to find my shipmates
And walk on foreign sands."

Yeah

Now this old man was peaceful
With silver in his smile.
He smoked a briar pipe and
He walked four country miles.
Singing songs of shady sisters
And old time liberty.
Songs of love and songs of pain
And songs to set men free.
Yea!

I've got three ships and sixteen men,
A course for ports unread.
I'll stand at mast, let north winds blow
Till half of us are dead....

Land ho!

Well, if I get my hands on a dollar bill,
Gonna buy a bottle and drink my fill.
If I get my hands on a number five,
Gonna skin that litlle girl alive.
If I get my hand on a number two,
Come back home and marry you, marry you, marry you.
Alright!
Land ho!
La-ah-an-Land HO!
La-ah-an-Land HO!
La-ah-and, well Land HO!

Well, Lady T, I hpe you have enjoyed yourself a bit. But I have to get up tomorrow, as much as I would love to stay a while by your fires.

Misty, Bishop, and all. Good night..

Strolling down along the shore and into the darknes of a moonlit surf.

Speaking of ships

Before you slip into unconsciousness
I'd like to have another kiss
Another flashing chance at bliss
Another kiss, another kiss.

The days are bright and filled with pain
Enclose me in your gentle rain.
The time you ran was too insane
We'll meet again, we'll meet again.

Oh tell me where your freedom lies
The streets are fields that never die.
Deliver me from reasons why
You'd rather cry, I'd rather fly.

The crystal ship is being filled
A thousand girls, a thousand thrills
A million ways to spend your time
When we get back, I'll drop a line.

*Waves to Swash*
Good night sweet Prince of Pirates.
*smiling warmly* I hope you have a pleasant dreams..
I ~know~ I will.

*hurrying down the beach as fast as he can*

"Hold up... I'm awake... and you haven't had my present yet."

*grins roguishly*

Bishop.. not bad.. I think we might have to have these bardic circles more often!
*grabbing a rum and coke, snuggling a sleepy misty dawn. Smiling at Exosus.*
I knew you were around ~somewhere~ *gliding over and giving you warm kisses*
Oo you said present ?
There's no sweeter torture than anticipation.. but what is it?
*eyes wide and curious*

A song to sweeten the sea air...

Goodnight Swash

I think yet another Rum and coke would be good....
I do so love a spining world

Well... I thought for a long time about it, and I couldn't think of anything good enough for such a wonderful person as yourself and so I had only this to give you

*gently steps close, and wraps one arm around Ldy T, drawing her closer to him, then lowers his lips to hers lightly kissing them, then again, and again, the kisses becoming more and more sensual. Finally he softly locks lips with her and deepens the kiss to one of dark passion before slowly stepping back and smiling softly*

Congratulations Ldy T

*hearing a voice*

rolling over int the pillows...I watch the two...smiling at the dark knight...

*grin*

"Hi lover... "
