That's because he posted a picture of the "next President" and not one of the soon-to-be-former President. ;)

Here's hoping that DLL and any others who will vote for Bush take the time to read the column by Charlie Reese that tigerjen posted and acually think about the long-term implications of the policy choices involved in a vote for Bush.

*clapping* :nana:

I was superbly surprised that the article was actually
written by a super-conservative! Amazing how things
work!

Good evening! It is only 45 minutes or so til midnite, and
then it will be Tuesday, Nov. 2!

Keep those votes and opinions coming along in the
meantime!

So far.........here is a *combined* percentage, which I
took both columns of Kerry-Edwards, and Bush-Cheney:

Kerry-Edwards 55.72%
Bush-Cheney 35.71 %

I know its only 70 votes cast here so far in this poll,
but its saying a lot. People want change, among
other things.

Hehehheheheheeh I've seen that one before ....friggin'
way too funny! :D:D:D

Just stopped here at home for a bit for lunch, and
I will be back helping out at the polls at 2pm!

So far so good in my area, the people are streaming
steadily to vote, which is awesome!

If you haven't voted yet, GET OUT THERE AND DO IT! :)

I think the first polls close at 7 p.m. eastern. Then we'll start hearing about results.

Has anyone else head what Cartoon Network's adult swim is doing tonight? They're playing the same episode of Harvey Birdman over and over so people will watch something important, like election coverage.

Adult Swim Schedule

I don't know about 7pm EST closures of polls but I know
here in CT its 8pm......NY is 9pm.

If you haven't voted yet, GO!!! Only a few short hours
left!

Why not just go off the air if Cartoon Network doesn't want to broadcast tonight?

It is nearly 4am EST

and the update is that Bush is leading in electoral vote
count, but the Kerry camp is contesting Ohio, insisting that
EVERY VOTE be counted! From what I've been hearing
there were people who were waiting at least 9-10 hours
in line to vote in Ohio. I just gave up watching NBC,
my eyes are bugging out.....and its early Wednesday
morning.......we'll find out more later today.

The victory gave Bush four more years to pursue the war on terror and a conservative, tax-cutting agenda — and probably the opportunity to name one or more justices to an aging Supreme Court. I am so happy this morning

Is it true?

I woke up an hour ago and Ohio was still in play.........

I'm still holding out for a bit of hope for Kerry to
squeek in there........but I won't' find out until I watch
the noontime news here on TV.

we are in BIG trouble if W. is truly back in office for
four more years! we have lost respect from a lot of
countries around the world, and we need to earn that
respect back.

There is going to be a big revolt on Inauguration Day
2005 if Bush is going to be sworn in.....mark my words!

Kerry ended his quest, concluding one of the most expensive and bitterly contested races on record, with a call to the president shortly after 11 a.m. EST. :rose:
