Racial Fatigue?

When will he start a goose stepping parade demanding one?:D

I dunno, when will you demand a Memorial Day Parade?

Happens all the time and you know it. What's the excuse? We know the answer.

Well everything happens "all the time" but what proof do you have that this was an attack becaues they were white. In the riots blacks and Asians seem to take the brunt of it and whites get left out almost entirely.

Well Private Denial, you're wrong, these kinds of black flash mob assaults on white owned businesses and white people, happens all the time, Chicago is a good example.

An attack on white people by any minority is not by definition a hate crime. Considering the numbers of black on black violence it's probable that a good majority of them attacks of opportunity. If blacks weren't dangerous to other blacks you're story'd hold up.

Bullshit. These roving mobs of black people assaulting white owned businesses and business owners "all of the time" would be all over the news, certainly all over FauxNews.

First you said NYC, now you're moving to Chicago. Are you sure you don't just want to make up a city to go along with your fabricated assertion?
You're full of shit, as usual.

No offense, but when will you realize that racism isn't about excuses?

And when will you stop to badmouth people who demands a better world for everybody?
Ok that second sentence makes no sense to me.
I think racism is all about excuses. Every one that yells the race card uses it as an excuse, in my opinion and in my experience.
I can only comment on MY experience and MY opinion. Thank the fuck we live in America so I can have that right. I know I have to suffer the consequences of what people will say to me for my opinion and that is ok with me too. It is America we live in.

If people want a better America, then do something. Quit blaming everyone else and their "white privilege". Make it happen for yourself. Work hard, use your brain, take chances and TRY. Quit standing on the street corner, joining the gangs and fitting into the stereotype that certain races have brought onto themselves. Make a difference and don't make excuses.

I watched the local news last night...there were 8 stories on there of crimes being investigated/or arrests made. All of them were by young black men except 1(and he was a white man wanted for child rape)...and the African American community wonders why young black men are seen in such a negative way?

And I know that comment will make the superior people on here jump my ass...go ahead...cause I am RIGHT, and we all know it.

Everyone in this world brings crap onto themselves. A white man or woman covered in tattoos and piercings gets looked at differently just as the black man or woman in a hoody walking around Wal-Mart.

Hubby hires and fires people as part of his job. If someone comes into his interview with huge gages in their ears and covered in tattoos, most likely that person is not going to get the job. Hell, hubby told his own nephew he would not hire him because of the huge gages in his ears. My daughter has 4 tattoos and she has to make sure they are covered in her job.

My point is that everyone faces some kind of negativity or discrimination no matter their race. We all just have to deal with it and quit making excuses.

If that's true then why aren't their millionaires in Africa? You'd think at least a FEW of them would be smart and hard working. Latin America? Why was China so far behind not too long ago? Japan?

You honestly can't think hard work is the end all be all can you?

Is it a coincidence that California and New York, two states that push heavily on "socialism" and equal opportunity are invariable richer than those in the southern states?

Take a look at the examples you gave.

Large gauge piercings, Tattoos: personal choices made by the individual.
Being black, gay, Hispanic, Asian, a woman - Things the individual has no control over. All things people are discriminated against because of.

As for walking around in a hoodie in a store? I do it all of the time, I walk all over NYC, Penn Station, the subway system, into shops and stores in affluent suburban areas of NJ. Not ONCE has anyone looked at me even twice for my attire. But then again, I'm white. You specified black man or woman in a hoodie, which means that they must be extra special suspicious because why?

Those countries do not have the opportunities for people that America does. Why do you think so many try to come to America? For that opportunity!
I had to find a doctor for hubby a few weeks ago...9 of the 10 I found local? They were not Americans...they were from other countries. The one I chose, he came here for school and stayed so his children would have more chances for success(his words to me exactly). The Mexicans I worked with, that is what they would say if I asked...my children have better chance of success here than in Mexico.
A person has to work hard and WANT it. Nothing is easy and without trying and working at it, you'll never get anywhere.

So right out the gate you've admitted the luck factor. What opportunities do they not have that Americ has, be specific.

Because that is the stereotype they have been given by the media...and by themselves too.

Yes, the color of someone's skin isn't something they can control. I agree with you completely....but my whole point is...EVERYONE faces some negative consequences at some point in their lives, no matter if they chose to look a certain way or not. It's going to happen, to all of us at some point. I've had it happen to me...I rolled with it and went on with my life.

My first day of college, when I was 42? The first comment I heard as I walked down the hall that night to my first college class? "Oh...there goes one of those damn 'old timers' trying to 'better herself'. That was from a young white girl to me a white woman old enough to be her mother. Did I deserve that? No. I just walked on, held my head up, and thought to myself, kiss my ass. If you were my kid your face would be slapped right now.

Everyone will face shit in their lives, hell I am facing it on here for having the balls to speak up and be different. It's all in how you handle it when you face it...in my opinion anyway.

White law enforcement extrajudicially murders unarmed black people and other minorities. With little to no charges or indictments.

It happens all of the time.

And there is back-up truth to that statement all over this fucking board.

If your eyes are still too nearsighted to see the verity, you go talk to the family of Tamir Rice and let them drill bit a new socket in your fucking skull.

I never said nothing about luck. I assumed we were talking about the race problem here in America. Am I wrong about that too?

There are countries women cannot even get an education, correct? Better opportunity in America, right?

I do not see Africa as a well developed country. I think parts of it are better than others, but they are still behind America. But, I'm pretty sure Africa has some millionaires in their developed cities. I know of one rich Olympic athlete that was rich and lived there before he murdered his girlfriend.

You guys can shoot me down all you want, you have that right. But just because we think differently from each other does not make the other one wrong...

I was not there when that happened, but I have watched the video of the shooting of Tamir Rice more than once. It was a tragedy, I completely agree.
But, what I saw, the best I could tell anyway? It does look like he raised his hand and no one told the police it was a toy gun...someone dropped the ball there and that child paid for it with his life.

My question was this when it happened...where was his parents? I am a mother and there is no way in hell my kids were out in the streets by themselves at that age. I would have asked the same thing if the kid was white...where was his parents and why was he out on the street by himself? In Kentucky, 12 year olds are suppose to be in daycare. A child has to be 13 to stay alone, so why was he out alone?

You're seriously going to try to compare being able to go to college at 42 and being insulted by another younger white woman (as you described her) to the overt and systemic discrimination faced by black people in this country?

You seriously believe that they bring this all on themselves? They just don't WANT to succeed enough? They're too lazy to do what it takes to achieve?

Jesus fucking Christ.. I can't even..

do you need a tit to suck on there bitch baby?

Let me ask you a question. When a black mob in New York attacks a group of white people and there are no charges of racism or hate crime, what is the excuse?

Good question.

I've watched a similary situation in Spike Lee's "Do The Right Thing", and no, I haven't found any excuses for the violence at the end of the movie. It was violence following violence following violence. Incited by a racist. A Black one. He wasn't talking about wite guilt or slavery. He had no excuses for his demands to white people but pure powerplay. He was "my street, my rules". Nobody took his racism seriously. But he made the riot happen.

But you know what racism is? It's "Blacks are like that, and whites are always the victims of Black hate". That may be YOUR excuse, but it isn't true. Ideological Racists are everywhere, and they're playing the same game like "Buggin Out", the racist character inciting the riots in the movie. Racists are of all colors, and a lot of people just wait for the right moment to let the violence against a victim happen. Excuse ? Violence happened! Your solution? Violence !

To get that straight: just because you're a racist, doesn't mean Blacks can't be racist. Just because I fight racism wherever it occurs doesn't mean I only fight white people. But then again: you won't stop violence happen by telling people there is no excuse for it. Because 99% of your solutions to the problem "because nothing else helps" is: violence.

Ok that second sentence makes no sense to me.

Think about that for one second: Just because I'll get over it, doens't mean I have to like it or shall never change it. Before the KZ's in WWII, Jews were ready to get over quite a lot of unbelievable things.

Pointing out racism is not "yelling the race card". In fact, yelling the race card is racism.

If people want a better America, then do something. Quit blaming everyone else and their "white privilege".

If there is a "white privilege", we should talk about it, as this is a problem. You don't solve a problem with telling it isn't one. Your broken car won't be fixed by ignorance.

Let's talk about the racism that happened to the ordinary, peace- and respectful people of the African American community. I don't think that the zumis or Sean Renauds here are store robbers, and this is no excuse for racism.

Show me how I'm a racist. Show me a racist post of mine. Show me a racist word in over 100K posts.

I'm sorry, I meant it colloquially. You're not such an obvious racist like some other people here, maybe you never said something obviously racist at all. I can't say you're no racist, as you never distance yourself from the too obvious racists and their racist topics/opinions on this board.

That's no charge. Just an opinion.

Sorry, but I disagree with everything you said. But that does not make either one of us wrong, only that we agree to disagree.

All I am saying is everyone faces something. What that young punk ass white girl said to me that day hurt me just as what other races face hurt them. Maybe you don't see that as the same, but I do.
I do not see this "overt and systemic discrimination" faced by black people in this country. I see things on the news that were horrible, but some of it was brought on themselves and the choices they made.
And I know that comment will stir up a shit storm...but oh well.
We ALL face shit..how you handle it shows who you are as a person.

I compare niggers to my black grandson.

He dresses like a page out of a catalog, he's well groomed, polite and considerate, a scholar, and an athlete (he won a 4 year full ride scholarship for his grades and pitching talent). He speaks real English, and minds his own business. He's 6-4 and can kick your ass but he's a gentleman. He was raised to be a gentleman and credit to his family.

You can't say I am a racist either.

I already said sorry.

I understand the race cardsharps in the liberal minority coalition very well. Smear somebody with a false charge of racism when you want to shut down an uncomfortable conversation.

What "uncomfortable conversation" are you talking about ? I never fled a serious conversation.
