Good for you , Bob. I admire a man who can locate a nightie just by the swishy sound it makes as I slip it on.

One of my cats is sick, I think it's just a cold but it's been going on for a week now and she's no better. I'm taking her to the vet as soon as they open...a couple of hours from now. Other than that, just a typical day in the country, Southern Style.

Hopefully they sort the poor cat for you

I have my 2 kids today and a nephew as well lol.....so I'll just be a servant today making sure they're watered and fed lolol....as well as doing taxi too lol.

Later this afternoon I need to go to the dentist as I broke a tooth last night:(
It'll cost a wee fortune fixing it :( lol

Dang, that's too bad. Dentists are sooo expensive. My last visit cost me about $2000....but I did get some good drugs! ;)

The only sound more lovely might be the sound of a lady removing her gown! They say as we lose some of our senses the others kick in to make up the difference-so as my glasses get stronger -_ I should get a greater degree of hearing ,smell and touch-!! so until they take all of them -I'll just be obeying the old street corner rule of Stop Listen ,Smell and Feel-LOLOLO

Things aren't so good here. My cat hid out for several days so I didn't get her to the vet until yesterday. She's in bad shape. If you remember, Itty Bitty was coughing and listless last Friday night. I thought she had a cold and planned to take her to see Linda the vet on Monday. Her cough got worse as the weekend wore on and she wouldn't eat or drink. When I got up Monday morning she was missing. She had gone outside sometime in the night and wouldn't come when called. I figured she was hiding out because she didn't like me wiping her nose when it got caked up with snot. I still thought she had a cold and figured when it had run it's course she'd show up again. Finally,
night before last, she came slinking back into the house. Still coughing bad, still listless, still not eating. I shut her in the bathroom so she couldn't escape again and took her to see Linda yesterday morning.

She has burns in her mouth.
She has pneumonia.
She has puss in her abdomen.

Linda says the only scenario she can think of to explain all this is that someone put a firecracker in her mouth and kicked her in the belly. She's spending the night at the clinic, on IV because she hasn't eaten or drank in a week. I pick her up this afternoon for the weekend but I'll probably have to take her back next week for more IV feeding till her mouth heals. Either that or learn to hook up the IV myself, it's not difficult.

If I ever find out who did this to her....
It won't be pretty.

OMG raisd!!!!!!!! i cannot even begin to explain what i would do to someone who would do something like that to an animal.....and then if it happened to be one of MY animals on top of that, well, "it won't be pretty" would not even begin to cover it! people just suck thus my hermitism these last 10 years......oh this just makes me mad mad mad:mad::mad:........her pneumonia has to be from not being able to breathe right since her stomach was jacked up.......sending my best thoughts for her honey, i am so sorry y'all are having to go thru something like this! talk to you soon, gotta go kiss everybody right on their little goat/dog lips thankful that right now all are doing good.:heart::heart::heart:

Very sorry about your beloved pet kitty.
I read your story and when heard someone willfully did this to a poor loving animal I got sick.
I hope you find the bastard ! Who would get pleasure from such a sick thing to do??? WHY?

I feel very sorry for your loss...

the sad thing is, people, if you can call them people ,are torturing cats over here as well for sick kicks.
