*Squees in delight!* Thats so awesome Yeishia! I am really happy for you! If its anything like gencon, be sure to pick up an events catalog and look through the little events on saturday, sometimes there are no cost things you can go to, but you still need to get a ticket to claim a seat. You can also find quite a few $2 to $10 dollar events to attend as well. If, for instance, you find any Filk musicians have a show, I highly recomend checking them out!
Names to look out for:
Tom Smith
Marc Gunn
Lesley Fish
Dan the Bard
Water Street Bridge
Marooned
The exhibitor room is bound to have booths that sell high quality costumes and accessories. Ever seen a guy in a "utili-kilt?" LOL! I highly recomend spending a few hours checking out the exhibitors as well. You'll see some amasing stuff, and even if you're broke, you can collect business cards from them to check them out later, online and stuff! One of my favorite things to do was get the creators to sign their business cards for me. LOL!
