I absolutely LOVED this girls costume! After the costume contest, we got to stick around and take a bunch of pictures up close of any of the contestants who felt like sticking around.

I picked up several storytelling games at Gencon and have been reading the rules the past several weeks. I feel I have a handle on the rules, so if anyone out there enjoying my lounge thread would actually like to role play with me I would like to extend the offer to do so with:

Our Last Best Hope:

A game to save the world. We play as team of soldiers, engineers, scientists and doctors sent to stop a world destroying crisis. Be it a threat from the stars, another ice age, the earths core, or a zombie apocalypse, we're the worlds last best hope for survival. Heavily driven by story points and character interaction, with a very light dice mechanic to help determine how well we do against the crisis in the end. If I can get at least two people interested in playing, we can start a thread for this.

Mechanics light (Using playing cards) game with a HIGH rate of character death integral to the game play (Dying heroically helps you 'light a candle', and those who remain can remember you, generating story points by doing so).

Conventions are the best! The only thing that's almost as fun are Ren-faires!

Ooo, any ideas what you'd like to dress up as? There's whole worlds of possibility. Litterally ANYTHING can be tapped for costume ideas. History, liturature, TV, movies, video games, comics, anime, even comercials. LOL!

I hope you'll share some of the pictures if they come out!
