Thats the significant other coming in and hijacking. Totally didnt even know he was still on the boards LOL
I took him to borders to get Idiot America and whereas Barnes and Noble was 15 bucks for it, Borders was 26. It was a little crazy.

yeah, it sucks she killed him off, but it makes me wonder where the heck she is gonna go with our girl.

she has to have a plan for her.

will be waiting impatiently to see.

cleaned it up & put in the cover art & a link

it's a book about the first meeting between Batman & Superman, set in the 50's

like i said, really good read

i stopped reading her books a few years ago because it stopped being erotic & entertaining & turned into penthouse letters with were's & vamps

& yeah, she was a damn good writer

See I could never read her stuff. It always read like a porno, and while sex and build up in a book is awesome, I just get tired of it.

Ive heard alot of people are disappointed with her latest work.

There was NO sex in her first book, and possibly more than that.

:rose:

Then I picked up the wrong books....

Guilty Pleasures was her first book. Its one of my all time favs BUT I found it frustrating that the lead character wasn't a virgin and wanted to have sex but didn't. I mean WTH? This is too common and one of my pet peeves.

See I think thats why I liked Karen Chance so much.
Her book Touch The Dark, the main character WANTED to have sex but a spell made it so men repelled her, until the "chosen" man found her. Then finally, after so much pent up frustration it happened and tada amazing.

If theres so much tension in a book and no release its exactly like RL, frustrating and unsatisfying ;)

Now starting The Last Angel- Natasha Rhodes

Emperor: The Gates of Rome by Conn Igguldden was very interesting. It's tells a fictional account of Julius Ceaser and Brutus from childhood on to young adulthood. It's before they did the historical things we all know about but more books are planned.

:D
