Removing a story

I posted a story in the Lesbian section "Nurse takes sub sue" and inadvertently also in BDSM under a different title. How would I remove it from the BDSM section?

The usual method is to repost precisely the same title as the original but with the word DELETE appended onto the title, with a request to delete the story in the comments field.

However, since you want to remove the story from one category and not from another, it might be safer to send a PM (not an e-mail) to Laurel, explaining the problem and asking her to handle the deletion. This would cut way down on the risk that your story might get deleted from both the Lesbian and the BDSM categories due to miscommunication.

The prefered method for requesting a story removal is to post a new submission with the same title plus "-- DELETE --".

However, I suspect that there is anoher story that goes with the BDSM title, which you intended to submit there?

If that is the case, submit the correct story with "-- EDIT --" "--REVISED--" or "--Corrected --" appended to the title.

In either case, put an explanation in the comments field and if there is any possible question abou which story should be removed or changed, a link to the exising story.
