Searching Authors by location?

[Dumbobunny]

Hi, Does anyone know how to search for stories by the Author's country? I really like stories with context i can relate to, and it's pretty much pot luck finding a story written by an author in my home country.
I've tried the advanced search but can't see any relevant search criteria.
Thanks.

Seeing as it's an anonymous site, and providing that information would be "giving information away," I doubt you'll find that feature.

But you can see a user's location (if they've entered it) on their profiles. Obviously if someone doesn't want to share it, then they wouldn't show up in a search....and it's hardly their actual address.

That's info they've added to their profile.

It's not asked when seeking membership, and going through everyone's IP address wouldn't be anonymous. Also, it would change based on if I'm logging in at home or logging in from my brother's wifi in another state.
