Well I was raised in a Democrat family, started voting independent because there were good options on both sides.
Those options went away as the far left went hard against what I believe in so I started voting republican.
If middle ground got serious a third party option could win if someone with deep pockets would back it

I will say, one thing about Rethuglican voters, particularly the MAGAt base, they stay "on code". No matter the issue, they’re united, usually by some form of HATRED, whether it's toward trans people, immigrants, black people, public educators, etc. That shared intense hostility keeps them aligned. These MAGAts in here are nasty. Look at their flippant reaction towards you when you point out facts, very hateful people.

Democrats, on the other hand, represent a wide range of issues, climate, healthcare, labor, racial justice, which can make the message feel a bit scattered. Here's the thing, with the growing threats against democracy, more people on the Left are realizing that unity is necessary. Folks may not agree on everything, but they sure as hell know they gotta push back together. And you see that with many local elections across the country especially the Wisconsin supreme court race.
