Our ranking has decrease mainly due to Obama's economic policies. Obama was for higher taxes and tons of regulations, basically stagnating our economy. No, there is no debate whether climate chance is true or not; not within the scientific community. There is only a debate whether the consequences will be bad or very bad, and if there is still a possibility to reduce the effects.

There is plenty of debate amongst scientist to this day. There is a big difference between global warming and climate change. There is no concrete evidence that co2 is actually aiding in global warming. We don't know that what's happening today is cyclical over hundreds of years. There's been scientific studies that predict the earth's core could be shifting and could be affecting climate. Weather, climate change all the time. Global warming is a fact but it's affect are not proven yet and how much varies from scientist to scientist.

The actions taken were actually pretty trivial. And mostly on the part of the OS developers. I also made some scratch reviewing code to see if they needed to do anything. Again, trivial changes.

The actions to change global warming or whatever it's called now are potentially catastrophic and frankly, I doubt the "scientists" involved actually understand the problems enough to allow them to experiment with our lives. Have you never seen a movie about mad scientists? You or one of you scarologists proposed some pretty scary ideas a while back. Stop screwing with stuff you don't understand. If things go south then they go south. You stand as good or better a chance of making it worse.
