Republicans are the party of big government, big spending, political correctness, cancel culture, and censorship. ✅

The party of “Don’t Tread on Me” has changed to “Comply or Die!”

They always were the party of “Comply or Die”…for everyone else (“them” and “those people”)…

“Don’t Tread on Me” only applied to / was reserved for themselves…

🤬

We. Told. Them. So.

The Pig and his terrorist ICE goon squad represent big government at its worst, stoking conflict, tearing apart communities, and destroying local economies.

Lit MAGAts, naturally, are giddy with sadistic excitement..

In the future, this era will be remembered both nationally and internationally as America's worst mass psychosis.

In any case our descendants will look back on this as a dark and barbarous time -- when dogs were enslaved, and women free!

its still crazy to me in my opinion how in 2016 donnie j trump changed the dynamics of politics around the world and he was the one who turned politics in most countries into a pro wrestling style reality tv type eco systems

Bigly government regulation in action:

Dementia Donnie has proclaimed that no other sporting event can be broadcast during the annual Army-Navy game.

The Army-Navy Game is one of our Greatest American Traditions — Unmatched Patriotism, Courage, and Honor! This incredible Tradition is now at risk of being pushed aside by more College Playoff Games, and Big TV Money. NOT ANYMORE!

Under my Administration, the second Saturday in December belongs to Army-Navy, and ONLY Army-Navy! I will soon sign a Historic Executive Order securing an EXCLUSIVE 4 hour Broadcast window, so this National Event stands above Commercial Postseason Games. No other Game or Team can violate this Time Slot!!!

“Not a king” but wants to dictate when football games are played. 😆

Another rory opinion post. Blah, blah, blah, blah. :)
Did his rant list of Trump actions mention steps to end big government fraud? Did it mention removal of criminals that rape and steal and defraud tax payers? Did it mention putting an end to Iran's nuke threat? Did it mention securing the boarder? Did it mention reducing big government regulations? Did it mention efforts to keep perverted men out of our daughters locker rooms? I must have missed those items when I glanced at the Rory rant list.

“”Ironically, the administration’s efforts to restrict language tied to 'woke' ideology somewhat mirrored the language-control strategies that critics, often conservatives, had previously condemned as examples of 'woke' overreach.
—The Free Speech Project at Georgetown University[1]

Right-Wing Political Correctness (RWPC),[2] also Conservative Correctness (CC) or Patriotic Correctness (PC),[3] is a brand of political correctness practiced by conservatives. While left-wing political correctness (LWPC) attempts to minimize offense through the (often endless) rebranding of certain words to be neutral or inclusive, RWPC rebrands terms to increase offense, increase scorn, and increase political bias. For example, homosexuality isn't RWPC; instead, we should use "unnatural vice",[4][5][6] in order to appeal to people's (here, hateful) religious beliefs over science and tolerance. (Not that conservative correctness has to be religious in nature; it can also appeal to nationalism, tribalism, or other irrational wingnutty worldviews.) All too often, people confuse this with political incorrectness due to both being against liberal political correctness, though political incorrectness is equally against both.

Political terminology is a whole lot slipperier than scientific terminology, but also a whole lot more comprehensible to the general public.

Another one to put under "big government".

And it's a big one in its own right. :)

Trump says Republicans should 'nationalize' elections

President Donald Trump said Republicans should “take over the voting” from states on Monday as he repeated his disproven claims of voter fraud.

“The Republicans should say, 'We want to take over. We should take over the voting in at least — many, 15 places. The Republicans ought to nationalize the voting," Trump said during an appearance on former deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino’s podcast.

The statement marks a dramatic escalation of Trump's stance on election administration, advancing a position that Democrats had previously warned he could stake out with his calls for stricter voting rules and investigations into alleged fraud.

Article 1 of the U.S. Constitution states that “the times, places, and manner of holding elections for senators and representatives, shall be prescribed in each state by the legislature thereof,” though Congress can pass federal regulations, too.

The U.S. Supreme Court has interpreted this to mean that states have control over voter registration, election supervision, prevention of fraud, counting of ballots and more.

Remember when Trump and Musk said DOGE was going to slash federal spending?

Total Federal Government Spending
2024: $7.4 trillion
2025: $7.8 trillion

However, DOGE was not able to come close to Elon’s promised trillions in cuts to overall federal spending, which is dominated not by administrative expenses but by Social Security, public health insurance, income redistribution programs, interest, and the military. The supposed “hundreds of billions in fraud” in those major spending programs were never found because fraud is nowhere near that common, contrary to the claims that Musk continues to make. Total gross federal expenditures in 2025 were roughly $7.8T, up from $7.4T in 2024, with spending up across basically all major functions.

Add it to the long list of promises not kept.
