So excited...a fairly well know local band wants to hire me to shot some promotional photos. I can do the job, just need to know how much to charge because I have never done it? I have emails out to a few people about it.

Love this one! Well actually, I love 'em all. And CONGRATS on the band photo opp. They must be a damn good band since they obviously know talent when they see it. Don't undercharge, okay? You're worth it, and they can always say 'too much' and then negotiate.

Got the band job. Didn't charge as much as I normally would. They are teachers and this is a second job just like me. What I did get is photo credit on all publications. So worth the trade off...basically advertisement for me.
